Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Young man, young man, you are truly too arrogant!

If Bai Mu exposed his Mangekyo Sharingan, the Uchiha Clan would inevitably go crazy over it, and the Village would become even more wary, which would inevitably worsen the relationship between the two sides.

Currently, a balance is maintained, but if that balance is broken, the problems could become immense. So, Uchiha Fugaku, for the sake of the big picture, ultimately decided that things couldn't continue like this.

Otherwise, once a fight broke out, and if Bai Mu exposed his Mangekyo Sharingan, it would no longer be a secret. Compared to this, what was Tsunade gaining command power?

In Uchiha Fugaku's view, it was nothing. Moreover, she had rich experience, having commanded large army operations during the Second Ninja War, much stronger than himself.

Therefore, in Fugaku's opinion, letting Tsunade be in charge of this matter, although it was somewhat inconvenient for the Uchiha Clan, if Tsunade was willing to return to Konoha, the Third Hokage would not possibly object; it would merely be a matter of getting on the bus first and buying the ticket later.

When the Third Hokage's order came down, wouldn't it be the same?

And his agreement to this matter was undoubtedly a gesture of goodwill towards Tsunade.

She would remember this favor.

"Clan Head, what is the meaning of this?"

Uchiha Kyo was naturally unwilling and questioned Uchiha Fugaku. In his opinion, the Clan Head was a bit too weak, especially being weak towards Tsunade, a Senju Clan member, which was even more unacceptable.

Of course, Uchiha Bai Mu was equally detestable. How could he support an outsider?

"This is the best approach."

Uchiha Fugaku said in a deep voice, his tone unquestionable, which meant he had made a decision and would absolutely not allow any more trouble from the Clan members, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable.

However, if there was an opportunity, he must talk to Uchiha Bai Mu to understand his stance.

This point was especially crucial.

And those eyes... if it truly was the Mangekyo, then things would be even more tricky and troublesome, and this absolutely could not be known by the Clan members, nor by the Village.

Once both sides knew, whether it was the Uchiha or the Village, it would cause huge problems. So, what Uchiha Fugaku hoped for was that it wouldn't be discovered, and it would be best if it remained hidden and unknown; then they would all be at peace.

"Clan Head!"

Uchiha Kyo was not reconciled.

But Uchiha Fugaku had already made his decision, and there was no changing it, so he forcefully suppressed the dissenting voices.

"Enough, say no more. That's how it is."

Uchiha Fugaku was very assertive, at least when dealing with his own Clan members, he was quite unyielding.

However, for extreme hawk faction members like Uchiha Kyo and Uchiha Mirai, they certainly couldn't accept the Clan Head's decision, as it was a display of concession and cowardice.

"Lady Tsunade, please give your orders."

Uchiha Fugaku didn't want to drag it out any longer. If those discordant voices within the Clan continued, it would probably anger Bai Mu and Tsunade, so he had to quickly change the subject.

Since Tsunade wanted to take over command, then he would see what plan Tsunade could come up with and how she would command to break the deadlock.

"The mission isn't that troublesome. My main goal is to take Uchiha Bai Mu to investigate the movements of Hidden Mist, specifically whether the Third Mizukage has truly arrived. Two squads, three from the Hyuga side and three from the Uchiha side. These two squads will accompany me on the reconnaissance and search mission."

Tsunade scanned the surroundings and slowly said.

Two squads?

That's not right, the numbers are off.

At least four people per squad, with a captain and three members.

However, since it's a reconnaissance mission, having fewer people isn't a problem.

Nara Shinichi pondered, finding no major issues with the mission arrangement, just whether Lady Tsunade could remain calm and absolutely not act impulsively...

"Uhh, that's hard to say then."

It wasn't his fault for thinking that way, because Lady Tsunade was acting too decisively at the moment, which inevitably led Nara Shinichi to have such extra thoughts.

"Lady Tsunade, is it really necessary for you to lead the team personally?"

Hyuga Reijin, upon hearing this, became a little uneasy. He pondered that Lady Tsunade shouldn't act this way and quickly said something.

Tsunade waved her hand and said in a deep voice, "You arrange for three Ninja from your Hyuga Clan to be dispatched. At least one Jonin is required. Is that okay?"

"For the Hyuga, one person will suffice. One Jonin, no need for too many," Bai Mu interjected.

"One person? Are you sure that's not a problem?" Before anyone else could speak, Tsunade had already turned to look at Bai Mu, her brows tightly furrowed as she replied.

Bai Mu shrugged and replied, "Don't worry, too many people will only cause problems."

He paused, then continued, "However, Lady Tsunade should have others prepare and assemble three elite units, positioned in the middle and on both sides, namely the central army and the left and right flanks. We need to ensure we receive support from the rear when we need to counterattack the Hidden Mist main base."

Uchiha Kyo sneered, "Bai Mu, from what you're saying, your reconnaissance mission isn't primarily about exploration, but rather about fighting them? With so few people, where do you get such courage? Are you crazy, or are all the Hidden Mist Ninja useless?"

Sarcasm!

This was inevitable.

Because everyone understood Bai Mu's meaning: the reconnaissance mission was secondary; finding the Mizukage and fighting him was the real goal. But where did he get the confidence to do such a thing?

Even if he discovered the Mizukage's whereabouts, there would be the main force of the Hidden Mist. Was it appropriate to just charge in like that?

Bai Mu said indifferently, "Plans can't keep up with changes. If necessary, we can do it."

"You're messing around."

Uchiha Fugaku couldn't hold back.

He knew that Bai Mu was very arrogant now because the other party had very likely activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, and it was hard not to be arrogant with such power.

But, he shouldn't be so arrogant. The Mangekyo Sharingan was powerful, but it wasn't an invincible power. If he kept this up, he would damage his eyes. Young man, young man, you are truly too arrogant!

"Then we'll do as you say." Tsunade, however, ignored Uchiha Fugaku and decided to follow Bai Mu's suggestion.

No, are you crazy?

Uchiha Fugaku felt he should retract his words about Tsunade being calm, rational, and composed in command. This was clearly an aggressive move, following Uchiha Bai Mu's recklessness… "Lady Tsunade, you mustn't do this!"

If something happens to you, I'll be the one taking the blame.

"No need to say more. Just listen. Three elite units must be assembled and ready at all times. If there's an opportunity, counterattack, drive the Hidden Mist into the sea, or capture and annihilate them, either is fine."

Tsunade made the final decision directly, not giving Uchiha Fugaku a chance to object. Anyway, with Bai Mu present, she wasn't worried about being defeated. Moreover, Esdeath and Alice Lize were also formidable, so powerful. What was there to fear?

Truth be told, there was no need to be afraid.

Even if it was the Hidden Mist main force, what if there were at least a thousand Ninja? I only have five people on my side? It's fine, because the advantage is with me!
