What is heaven? A place of golden clouds and a sweet breeze? Or is it a place where loving souls gather? Maybe it isn't a place but rather a feeling, a feeling of pure bliss, love, and joy.
Who knows, but certainly whatever this place was it wasn't that.
Undeniably this place shared none of those qualities. This place was nothing but a white void, and it was endless, never-ending.
However, one would not expect this vast endless void to be accompanied by its strange phenomena's.
Rebirth(s), and Renewal(s).
In that white endless void, there was a table with two chairs, on the table was a cup that was accompanied by a pot. The average person would usually mistake this pot to be a tea pot by its arched handle, curved spout and the steam that arose from the lid that sat on top.
However, there was no such thing as a tea pot in this dimension, only oil pots. But this wasn't the strangest thing this dimension had to offer. It was the man who sat Infront of the table and the body he was made out of.
Metal, junk, is what this man was made out of, it was as if someone glued various scraps from a scrapyard onto a human body. But what was even more concerning was his head. His head was just a metal box with headlights on it. All across his metal-junk body was labels, "Ford", "Chevy", "Toyota", "GMC"
"I suppose it's almost time for their souls to be arrive." the Truck God remarked as if it was just another day for him.
In the blink of an eye, the vast space had guest. One by one, a group of people appeared out of thin air, their expressions filled with a justified sense of confusion, fear and uncertainty.
"Where am I… what happened?" Hana's voice trembled as she took notice of the pure white space that surrounded her.
"What the fuck is going on, bro?" Zane huffed out, his eyes scanning the area for answers, searching for any sign of reason.
"All I could remember is a loud bang, and then… it just went all black," Mei muttered as she rubbed her hands across her forehead, trying to recall the events that had just occurred.
"Guys, calm down," Grayson said affirmingly, while trying to keep his voice steady despite the unease of the situation.
Kenji stood apart from the group, silent but curious as to the things around him, he began touching the ground and trying to feel what material they all were standing on.
However, he aswell was confused and couldn't really grasp what was going on, there was confusion, panic, distress amongst the entire group. Grayson tried to calm them down but there was no easy way to de-escalate the situation. They had just died and wondered what would happen next.
Truck God: "SILENCE! Non-truckians, you are being way too loud in my dimension... But furthermore we have things to discuss, So please, take a seat... on the floor... Criss-Cross-Apple Sauce if you will. "
All of the group was still in total distress as they mumbled amongst themselves, they were still confused about how they got here, the trauma of just dying, but also the fact a literal truck-man started speaking to them in an unbothered tone with his legs crossed as if this were an everyday occurrence.
Truck-God picked up his oil pot and poured the freshly brewed oil into his cup in a delicate manner, as if he is serving royalty, and the royalty was himself.
Truck-God takes a sip and then continues what he was saying: "Calm down non-truckians, let me first explain what's going on, I.. Truck-God, ordered you all to be killed by Truck-Kun, which is a Truckian who I usually task to kill humans. Now according to transmigration law under Article 4, Line 32 it says: "Thou that has died by a truckian, shall be sent off by the truck-god to another dimension where the Truck-God shall spin a wheel for each of the transmigrators powers" "
Truck-God usually got excited reactions from those that heard this, but this group showed no sign of that, as a matter of fact only part of the group was listening while the others were still mumbling amongst themselves, and that irritated him. "How dare these non-truckians not celebrate when I deliberately blessed them with a brutal death." Truck-God thought to himself, It was inconceivable to him.
Truck-God broke the silence once and for all with great assertion "What are you ungrateful brats looking so distressed for?"
What the group replied with is something Truck-God couldn't have prepared for, and till this day it would haunt him.
"Eli... Eli is missing. There was nine of us in that room. So why isn't Eli Here? Where is he???" Hana blurted out in a desperate attempt for an answer.
Truck-God was staggered, as if the words sent him into a shock, "Now that the non-truckian mentions it... I did order for Truck-Kun to kill 9 people... So where is the NINTH PERSON!" Truck-God thought to himself in an eruption of visual deep rage with his headlights fading into a crimson hue.
Truck-God pondered the idea of a truckian failing an assigned mission, it was an absurdity, it was inconceivable, it was irrational to even think of. Truckians are trained elite-killers. A truckian wouldn't fail, let alone Truck-Kun.
Truck-God was blowing fumes from his headlights. Truck-God needed answers, Truck-God reputation would take a blow from a mistake like this. Truck-God summoned Truck-Kun, and out of thin air, a Ford F-150 Materialized in the room.
Truck-God with his glowing red headlights. "You failed to kill one of them, Truck-Kun?"
Truck-Kun let out a weak, embarrassed "honk honk"
"You didn't even hit him?" Truck-God continues, as if he's waiting for some kind answer that would solve this madness.
"Honk…" Truck-Kun replies muttering in a almost disappointed non-audible honk
"So… is he dead?" Truck-God asks, his tone quiet but his disappoint growing.
Truck-Kun without hesitation as if he had some good news despite all the failure... "HONK HONK! "
Truck-God headlights slowly faded from red to orange, instead of anger he felt confusion, curiosity... "Wait.. he's dead, but you didn't hit him? How'd that happen?"
Truck-Kun's engine muttered nervously. :Honk… honkkkk. Honkkkk. HONK. honk honk? Honk honk."
Truck-God's headlights faded into complete purpleness in realization which was the color of contemplation, "Ah, I see… so you crashed through the window, but missed him entirely. He panicked, thought the engine was going to explode, and jumped out the third floor because he figured fall damage was better than burning alive?"
Truck-Kun gave a single and final, satisfied honk.
Truck-God was in deep contemplation about how to go about this situation. You see under transmigration law, Eli couldn't be transmigrated as he technically didn't die from a truckian, but fall damage. His fate would now be with the Fall Damage God, which would make his death outside of Truck-God's jurisdiction.
Truck-God had an idea however he wasn't sure if these college students could pull it off, but he thought to try anyway. Afterall, he had nothing to lose from informing them about it.
Truck-God: "Unfortunately, it is not within my power to transmigrate your friend to the dimension you're all going to, but that doesn't' mean all is lost, I will be sending you to a dimension, where there is a Transmigration Artifact, but you must find the keys that go with it, and then you may summon your friend into the dimension, Not even us Gods can negate the usage of artifacts, as they are created by the Divine God, The Strongest God."
The group was still in major distress, but a glimpse of hope emerged with his words and thus saving their beloved friend didn't seem impossible, but it didn't ease the nervousness they felt wondering about the quest they'd have to go on to achieve that. They weren't sure of what would await them in the dimension they were headed in.
"That is the stupidest shit I've probably heard all day, aren't you a literal God, can't you just summon him here" Zane replies in a deep frustration, Zane who usually seems disrespectful or uncaring of most situations was visually annoyed with the situation, he didn't really care for most things, but Eli was a good friend to Zane.
Zane had always been someone who had trouble getting along with others, and part of that was definitely Zane's attitude. But Zane despite all of his bad parts was still welcomed by Eli as a friend. Eli introduced Zane to the friend group that he has now, and cause of that Zane will always feel indebted to Eli.
"Damn it man, I still haven't directly thanked you for everything you've done for me" Zane thought to himself, worrying now that the chance to thank him would be impossible.
Grayson put his hand on Zane's shoulder, as if he had read straight through Zane's walls of pride. "Don't worry Zane, we'll all figure this out together' Grayson declares.
The group started to gain hope and build their confidence up despite the situation and its obstacles.
Truck-God: "Alright you lot, I will now be sending you off to the dimension. I will be bestowing different powers to each of you by authority of the Transmigration Law. To make your quest even easier, I will leave a Key Compass to one of you, but that is the most I can do within my power. "
Truck-God snapped his fingers, and just like that, the friend group had disappeared from Truck-Gods dimension. It was as if they were never there, gone without trace.
Truck-Kun: "Honk?" he mutters with a bit of confusion.
Truck-God: "Ah yes that's right I had almost forgot, let me now spin the wheel on their powers"
End of Chapter 2
