Right at the 1st floor stood two hulking zombies duking it out.
The zombies had two robust and powerful arms the size of a man's thighs. They were also tall, definitely more than 2 metres tall.
"How do we kill monsters like that?" Adam panicked slightly, sweat dripping down his head, William slightly more calm due to his blood manipulation skill, carefully looking around as he noticed one of the zombies was injured heavily.
" You handle that one, it's injured and should be slower and easier to kill, I'll take the other." William said as he ran forward.
The zombies immediately sensed their life force once they were five meters away, then immediately stopped fighting and charged towards them.
Although these zombies were slower than a normal human being, they were faster than normal zombies. Taken by surprise, William panicked and quickly moved his head to the side, dodging the zombie's fist by a hairs breath, Adam quickly engaged the other zombie avoiding a slam by dodging backwards.
Bang!
The zombies fist caused a hole in the wall and William's face paled as he realized if that attack had touched him his head would have exploded like a peach.
In this moment of crisis he kicked forward forcing the zombie back with all his strength
Before the zombie could recover, William spent 50 mana points to create five chains out of blood he had poured on the floor while dodging the zombie's onslaught.
This chains looked strong and had small spikes all around due to the huge mana points he had used in their creation.
The blood chains immediately wrapped around the huge zombie's limbs throwing it to the ground.
He immediately sprung into action once his opponent was incapacitated and stabbed at the zombies head with the metal rod. However, to his surprise his trusty iron rod couldn't even make a dent in the zombie's tough flesh.
The strange zombie began to struggle in and attempt to break free, William l instantly created three more chains to bind the zombie.
William dared not relax and stabbed at the zombie's head like a mad man at the same spot over and over.
It was only after almost thirty stabs with all his strength was he finally able to pierce through the zombie's head, crushing it's brain into a bloody mess.

William felt himself become more power than before in the blink of and eye and the fatigue he felt after stabbing with all his might thirty times disappeared.
The fight was over at Adam's side too as he was breathing heavily with an extremely pale and sweaty face and the second zombie's head was like a porcupine with five metal rods sticking out lyk antennas.
"Woah dude you really fucked that zombie up." William said as he looked at the zombie with his lips twitching.
"Ah, what's this?" Adam walked towards the zombie corpse as he picked up an orb. "I have one here too.' William called out also.

The orb was about the size of an orange and was pitch black in color.
Applying pressure in his palm, the orb flashed a bright white light and when the brightness disappeared a new object appeared In Adam's hand.

The spear was black in color with countless gold markings all along the shaft, giving it a mystifying appearance. It was over two meters in length and the spearhead glinted in the light.
William walked over with two weird looking short swords in his hands and wide grin plastered over his face as he read the swords description.

William slashed around a few times while Adam tested his spear. Although neither of them knew how to use their weapon as they had never welded one but with the addition of the swords and spear, survival became a little easier than their former crude method. And moreover the extra stats point from the weapons brought about a terrifying increase in their strength.
"Status." William called out loud and soon several gold letter flashed in his eyes. "Did you have to say it out loud?"Adam hearing him call out loud rolled his eyes while calling his status window

With his almost fifty strength points, William was technically five times stronger than a human. The intoxicating feeling of growing stronger in such an arduous brought a smile to both their faces.
Due to the fact that there was no longer any zombies on the last floor, the duo a few minutes. While they were no longer physically exhausted the mental fatigue was immense as this was no a situation 20 years old kids were supposed to face.
William refilled his bottles with the blood of the two special zombies they had killed earlier, they both took a deep breath as they nodded at each other and walked to the exit.
At this moment the whole school was in chaotic state. Students were running around and screaming in fear while being chased by zombies, oversized insects and mutated animals of terrifying sizes. It was the perfect description of hell on earth.
"I don't think we're going to make it to the school cafeteria that easy, how about we hide out at the small supermarket while gathering some supplies.." Adam suggested as he stared at the horrifying scene before them. William nodded as they ran towards the small supermarket in the campus.
After they left a voice drifted in the air the owner nowhere to be seen " How can two mortals possess such large mana?, especially that mortal that reeks of divinity. Didn't know I'd find something interesting while running errands for grandpa.
