Chapter 118: Krieg's Annihilation
Struggling up from the explosion, Krieg knelt on the shattered deck. His golden armor was covered in cracks, and smoke billowed around him.
His face was contorted, veins bulging on his forehead. He stared death daggers at the three figures standing calmly in front of the restaurant.
"There's only three of them!!! We have thirty ships!!!"
Krieg roared like a madman, waving his arm frantically. "FIRE!! FIRE EVERYTHING!!!"
"BOOM-BOOM-BOOM—!!!"
Thirty pirate ships opened fire simultaneously. Hundreds of black cannonballs darkened the sky like a swarm of locusts, raining down on the Baratie with a deafening roar!
A massive shadow of destruction fell over the restaurant!
In the air, Ace's pupils shrank. Flames exploded from his arms as he threw them wide!

His arms became wings of fire, and dozens of fireballs fell like meteors, trailing tails of flame as they smashed into the remaining ships!
"BOOM!! BOOM! BOOM—!!!"
Continuous explosions turned the sea into an inferno!
The remaining pirate ships had no defense. They shattered and capsized in the flames, pirates screaming as they abandoned ship!
At the same time, on the restaurant deck, Luffy moved!
He transformed into his Hybrid form, his body swelling, pink dragon scales covering him, his eyes golden-red, his tail whipping like a steel lash!
The next instant, the deck cracked, and he shot like a thunderbolt into the remnants of the pirate crew!
"BAM! BAM! BAM-BAM-BAM—!!!"
Every punch hit a critical point on an enemy ship!

The air was still thick with burning wood and gunpowder.
Krieg sat paralyzed on the wreckage of his flagship, his golden armor falling off in pieces, his face pale, lips trembling.
"Is this... is this what a 'real monster' looks like..."
"Just three people... wiped out my entire fleet?!"
His eyes were filled with terror and despair. He looked like he had aged fifty years in a minute.
On the Baratie deck, Gin lay motionless, gritting his teeth, fingers digging into the wood.
His breathing was ragged, his back soaked in cold sweat, his expression complicated.
"...So this is 'true strength'."
Sea Restaurant - Baratie
The battle ended, and the wind died down.
The sea was thick with smoke and the smell of char. The heat hadn't faded.
Inside and outside the restaurant, dead silence.
Zeff, Sanji, and all the cooks and guests stared blankly at the hellscape on the water.
Over thirty pirate ships, annihilated in minutes by two boys.
No reinforcements, no battleships.
Just two "brats."
Luffy hummed a tune, picking up Krieg's ruined armor and tossing him back onto the deck like a ragdoll.
THUD! Krieg groaned, rolling twice before lying still like a pile of mud.
Luffy's dragon scales faded, his Hybrid form vanishing. He strutted up to Sanji, hands on his hips, looking incredibly smug. "I'm awesome, right?!"
"My big bro taught me!"
Sanji's mouth twitched. He looked at the beaming boy and didn't know what to say.
"This... what kind of monster is this kid?!"
Ace landed steadily from the air, flames flickering out, his boots leaving scorch marks on the deck.
He glanced at the heap that was Krieg, then looked over at Roy. "Big Bro Roy, this guy... do we keep him?"
Roy stood quietly at the edge of the deck, his gaze calm, coat snapping in the wind.
He looked down at Krieg, his voice calm but brooking no argument. "Leaving him in the East Blue isn't safe."
"It's a little too close... to Dawn Island."
At the words "Dawn Island," Ace and Luffy's expressions instantly changed.
Their faces hardened, their gazes darkening.
"Grandpa Rook... Grandma Erin..."
"We can't let them be threatened!"
Krieg seemed to sense the danger. He struggled to sit up, face full of terror, hands shaking. "W-Wait! Don't kill me! I surrender! I can—!"
Before he could finish, Ace took a step forward, grabbing the broken armor on his chest.
Searing flames instantly coiled around his arm, spreading rapidly over Krieg!
Ace looked down at him, eyes devoid of mercy. "Trash is better burned clean."
"FWOOSH—!!!"
The flames exploded like a wave, and Ace hurled Krieg into the air!
He struggled violently, screaming in agony and despair. "AAAAAAAH—!!!"
The next second, the fire consumed him completely.
The golden armor and the man inside turned into a fireball, exploding and burning to ash in mid-air, leaving only charred remains to fall into the sea.
Splash—
Black ripples spread across the water.
Inside and outside the restaurant, everyone held their breath.
The guests and chefs, even the old cooks who had sailed the seas, were pale and sweating.
They had seen blood before.
