Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: Training Begins

Aria stood outside the training grounds, her heart racing with excitement and nerves. Asher was standing beside her, his eyes fixed on her with a serious expression.

"Okay, let's get started," he said, his voice firm. "We're going to work on your combat skills, see if we can't get you to defend yourself."

Aria nodded, feeling a surge of determination. She was ready to learn, ready to take control of her life.

Asher began to teach her various techniques, showing her how to throw a punch and how to defend herself against an attacker. Aria was a quick learner, her body adapting to the new movements with ease.

As the days passed, Aria grew stronger and more confident. She was learning to control her body, to use her strength and agility to her advantage.

But despite her progress, Aria couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. She kept having strange dreams, visions of dark creatures and ancient powers.

Asher noticed the change in her, his eyes narrowing with concern. "Aria, what's going on?" he asked, his voice low. "You've been distant lately, preoccupied."

Aria hesitated, unsure of how to explain the strange feelings and visions that had been plaguing her. "I don't know," she said finally. "I just feel like something's coming, something big."

Asher's expression turned serious. "We'll figure it out together," he said. "But for now, let's focus on your training."

Aria nodded, feeling a surge of gratitude towards Asher. She knew that she could trust him, that he would be there for her no matter what.

As the training continued, Aria's skills improved dramatically. She was a natural fighter, and Asher was impressed with her progress.

But just as Aria was starting to feel confident, a loud growl echoed through the training grounds. Aria's head snapped up, her heart racing with fear.

"What was that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Asher's expression turned grim. "It's a rogue," he said. "Get behind me, Aria."

Aria's heart skipped a beat as she obeyed, her eyes fixed on the approaching figure. She knew that she was in for the fight of her life.
