"A 21-year-old human but has already reached 7-tier? F*ck. And that surname of hers. Media would be all over here if this news gets out."

"I need to get out of here before she gets up or else, I will have to flee this country, once again." Liu Wei got down from the bed and looked for his clothes. His shirt was all torn up, but luckily, he had spare clothes in his inventory. Hence, it didn't pose any problem.

Without thinking too much, he opened the room door and then escaped the hotel in a hurry.

30 minutes later, he stepped out of the cab at his store, finding out that it was still closed even though it was already past 9 o'clock. "Sophia isn't here yet?" He remembered Richard and thought she might be with him since there were no pets in the store to be sold anyway.

He walked into the store and put the sign open before going upstairs to check on his pets.

Both of them appeared to be behaving. They were seen calmly lying in their respective cages. Once they spotted him, the Direwolf started bLiu Weiing in excitement while Smilodon merely got up calmly but couldn't stop itself from giving an intense stare as he was petting its rival before it. It only slept in satisfaction once Liu Wei played with it.

After a while;

New cages were placed around those two beasts, but this time, they were filled with different species.

"Okay, we are ready for the business…"

Liu Wei went to the bathroom for morning activities and then started cooking breakfast, forgetting the fact that he opened the store downstairs.

Half an hour later, he casually came downstairs with a coffee mug, only to be surprised that there was someone on the ground floor, quietly sitting with his hand on the sword's hilt and its black-crystalline blade tip resting on the floor. Liu Wei recognized the fellow at first glance as not even 24 hours had passed since they met.

The serious-looking man turned his head to look at him and suddenly broke out into laughter "Brother Liu Wei, I struck it rich, haha..."

"Eh?"

*

The memory of Adventurer Val's threat is still fresh in Liu Wei's mind, and within just a day, the 8-Tier Divinian changed his behavior completely.

The reason is something Liu Wei can guess too. It's about the sword Val is holding right now. But, Liu Wei failed to understand what he meant by striking it rich.

The weapon is before him. So, it is obvious that it is not sold. Then, what is he here for?

Thankfully, before he expressed his doubt, Val just ran off his mouth with an excited look on his face. "To confirm your statement, I contacted a master appraiser that I trust. After deep analysis on his own and then consulting a few of his friends in the same line of his work, he said that this weapon wasn't just made of Elerium. It's one of the twelve legendary swords of the Hero Era, lost in a Great War. It's priceless. I should thank you for stopping me from making a huge mistake."

"One of the twelve legendary swords?" Liu Wei was taken aback by his explanation. He couldn't help but take another look at the sword and scanned it for the details.

"What the hell this guy is spouting about?" He can only think of such a thing as he reads the details.

Unnamed Sword

Status: Sealed

Grade: Divine

Spirit Beast: Blizzard Dragon

Attribute: Ice

Description: An unnamed magical sword forged by the demons during the Great War and has yet to see the blood. The sword holds the spirit of the Blizzard dragon, giving ice element skills to its master. Made of Elerium metal, the sword could absorb natural energy from the surroundings and provide it to its master, thereby maintaining its master's mana to full at all times.

There was no mention of being the legendary sword or anything. Heck, it didn't even kill anyone until now.

It only means that this so-called master appraiser just told him a piece of the story after discovering its age.

However, should Liu Wei tell him that? Naturally, he wouldn't. After all, it has nothing to do with him.

Hence, Liu Wei kept his silence and gave a fake smile and a nod.

Val then put away the sword in his storage ring and grabbed Liu Wei's shoulder. "You have done a great favor for me. From this day onwards, I acknowledge you as my brother. Your friends are my allies. Your enemies are my enemies."

"Uhh… Seriously? Is this my lucky day or what?" Liu Wei looked like his eyes were going to pop out in shock. Now, he wouldn't reveal the truth to Val at any cost. Or so he decided as he shook Val's hands while maintaining a pleasant smile on his face.

After exchanging the phone numbers, Liu Wei who decided to take this new-built brotherhood to his advantage directly texted him that it would help the store if he took the club membership.

Val, who was on cloud nine, didn't think a bit before accepting Liu Wei's request and became a member of the club.

Putting away his coffee mug, Liu Wei quickly went on registering his details. Once everything was done, as soon as he handed the membership card to Val, the notification came from the system.

*Ding! A new member joined the club. You received a dino token.

*Ding! The new member was found to be an advanced-level Divinian (7-Tier and above). You received 100 credits as a bonus.

Meanwhile, Val got a couple of automatic welcome messages from the store's number, along with a link to the store's website.

As Val opened the website, he was met with a short article containing a basic introduction to the store and the newly uploaded exterior and interior images of the current building.

There are a few sections on the website. First is the announcements section. If there is a new beast added to the store, or if the store is shifting its base, or it will be closed for a few days due to some reason, everything will be posted here.

The second is the beast section. It is the availability of the beasts available for sale and their information.

The third is the missions section. It contains missions put by Liu Wei and the following reward.

The fourth is the Shop section. One can place an order online through here. If the club members use their membership ID here, they will avail their privilege of an additional discount, or else, they will be charged the normal amount.

And the final one is the group chat section. Just like with the missions section, only the club members can access this. They can chat with each other using their user IDs.

As Val went through each section, he appeared to be impressed. And he couldn't help but let out an exclaim of surprise when he saw the list of missions.

"Not bad, Brother. I didn't expect a normal-looking pet store like this to have such capabilities." After praising the store, he looked at Liu Wei and asked, "What if I already have the materials for a high-ranking mission? Can I just take it and submit the materials to you right away? How long does it take for you to give the reward?"

Liu Wei took out his smartphone to reply to his questions.

Liu Wei: Instant.

"You don't need time to inspect the things?" Val was surprised by his response. "There are a lot of counterfeits available in the market. Sometimes, even master appraisers will get deceived by some of them, especially this dragonflower nectar as it looks and tastes exactly like A-grade honey."

Liu Wei let out a smile and shook his head before he started typing.

Liu Wei: I have ocular powers.

Since he cannot reveal the truth of the system, he lied that his eyes are just special.

Val wasn't surprised this time as he already expected it. After all, not even the highest ranked, a grandmaster appraiser cannot just distinguish Elerium from the Adamantite crystal with one look. Perhaps, only future tech of mankind could do that.

He just needed confirmation from Liu Wei and he got it now.

He then showed the screen to Liu Wei and pointed at two missions located at the bottom of the list. "I want to take these two."

"Those two?" Liu Wei took a step back in surprise.

One of them is a Gold variant of Ginseng roots and the other one is escorting Liu Wei to a Tier-7 dungeon.

As for the rewards, Liu Wei was willing to give thousand dollars per 1kg of root and two hundred thousand dollars for ten hours of protection inside the dungeon.

Golden ginseng root was rarely available in the market as it is considered a mutation that occurred in one-in-a-million chance. Even after spending an hour at the underground market, Liu Wei could only find five roots of them, totaling 3.5kg in weight.

As for their high price, it is not because of any extraordinary properties that they possess that other variants don't have. It is merely because of the rarity. Some wealthy individuals like to collect rare things to show off to their friends. The market price was about 600-800 dollars per kg. Liu Wei put it at 1000 dollars so that the club members would actively search for them.

Regarding the dungeon's extraordinary reward too, while the amount appeared very appealing, no one in the club is strong enough to go into tier-7 dungeon. With the risk of death, such an amount actually appeared quite less.

However, for an 8-tier Divinian like Val, it won't hold too much trouble. Not to mention the fact that he felt like he owed too much to Liu Wei.

Liu Wei bowed and shook his hands vigorously in gratefulness as Val took out atleast a dozen of them and put them on the counter table.

This time, it's Val's turn to get surprised. "But, what are you gonna do with them?" he asked in wonder.

Liu Wei took out his phone once again and typed, "Resale."

"Resale? But, you won't make much profit if you purchase them at such prices." Val didn't expect such a reply from Liu Wei. Because of the sword, he actually had high expectations of him.

Turned out that this mute is also a fool? Nah, that cannot be… Val shook his negative thoughts and waited for the answer, only to be met with silence.

Removing the awkward atmosphere between them, Val cleared his throat and changed the topic, "Anyway, when do we go? I'm free for the next three days."

Liu Wei: Right now.

"Eh?"
