Chapter 4 - Divinity

Jago, Tito, and Soulless glanced at the divine being, everyone standing still in anticipation of an unexpected sudden attack. The man standing before their eyes carried a spiritual pressure that could potentially pin them down if it grew any stronger.

Yohel, The Divine God, the first born from the seed of Mother Fushia.

He was an extremely powerful spiritual being without a doubt and defeating him would take a team effort and one hundred percent of their power.

But there were two other divine beings behind Yohel, two more Divine Gods that would certainly join the fight to assist their oldest brother.

Soulless didn't want Jago or Tito to lose their lives, and there wasn't a single doubt in his mind that would happen if battle raged on. There wasn't a chance they could kill any of the Divine Gods, especially while they were grouped together as three.

"You're different..." Yohel and Soulless locked eyes, until the divine being used his teleportation technique to appear behind the young man. "You...don't have any spiritual prowess. That's...extremely interesting."

Should I attack this guy...activating my spiritual essence from Queen Midori at this moment would be perfect timing. There's no telling what this guy is gonna do! He can easily overpower us and I'm sure Jago and Tito know that too!

"What is your name?" Yohel asked the young man. "Why are you with The Animal Kingdom, but you're just a human being with no soul."

"Soulless, and I was raised in The Animal Kingdom."

"Your name is Soulless..." Yohel glanced over to the other divine gods, he said. "A human raised by animals...that's a lovely story to tell. Why are the three of you here, Soulless?"

"A special grade mission." Soulless told the truth about their mission. "I'm an assassin...and there's been rumors that The Divine Gods teamed up with demons. Are you proof of that rumor being true?"

Yohel lowered his head and began walking away from the young man, mulling with three options in his mind that included killing the unexpected visitors. He approached his siblings and stared at the intruders, tapping on his leg with a decision making facial expression.

"Nearly two decades ago...The Divine Demon successfully placed a veil around Planet Fushia, blocking us from entering the planet to prevent him from capturing the divine tree. By the time I was able to get a crack out the barrier...my home planet was annihilated. That day...an immense spiritual pressure that I felt from The Divine Demon changed our projectory of life. I am no longer leader of The Divine Gods, and we serve The Divine Demon to continue prospering in life."

Soulless squinted his eyes and titled his head, glaring at Yohel sideways after an admittance to serving demons.

"Are you an idiot?" Soulless questioned, then snapped out with frustration and yelled. "There's nothing in the world that can make me serve a demon! Didn't you just say he blew up your home planet!"

Jago brought his hands together to activate the first technique of battle, using his special technique to summon his crab family for assistance.

Five crab men that resembled Jago appeared by his side, but The Divine Gods paid them no mind despite having the numbers advantage.

Yohel cracked a smile. "I thought you all were too scared to bust a move...but I suppose you've finally grown some balls. Wait...do sea men have balls?"

Jago's red aura displayed around his physique, but Yohel expressed no hesitation to overwhelm that aura.

The power of divinity displayed from Yohel, forcing everyone down to their knees from the compelling spiritual pressure. Even Yohel's allies were dropped down to a single knee from his power.

So, this is the power of divinity! I'll have to activate my spiritual prowess...that's our only chance of defeating this guy!

"You people are weak...yet contained the audacity to arrive on Demon Planet...you are all disgraceful." Yohel rolled his eyes, he created an energy blade and placed it against Jago's throat. "So you came here searching for Valeur?"

Soulless yelled out, attracting the attention of Yohel to distract him from Jago.

"This crab monster must be a friend of yours." Yohel chuckled softly, then yanked his energy blade into Jago's throat.

"Jago!" Soulless yelled out and jumped up from his kneeled position, overpowering his way through Yohel's divinity to strike. "I'll kill you!"

Yohel was absolutely apparently at the sight of a boy with no spiritual essence defying his spiritual pressure. His eyes widened in shock and he stood in place like a statue as the young man bolted forward with his fist.

Yohel's reaction was too late, and he was punched across the jaw at full strength. The punched jarred The Divine God, but he wouldn't allow a teenage kid to deliver another hurtful blow.

Yohel opened his hand for the usage of his technique and concentrated his divinity, halting Soulless with his arm cocked back before he could deliver another punch.

"You are...impressive...this is actually pretty interesting." Yohel waved his hand swiftly, vanishing Tito, Jago, and his companions to another location in that instant. "Who exactly are you?"

"I already told you...I'm Soulless."

Yohel slowly nodded his head while analyzing the young man, something in his soul was screaming for him to save the boy. The only problem would be thinking of an explanation for Valeur, and that wasn't something he was looking forward to.

Yohel sighed deeply, finally reaching a conclusion on what to do.

"I think I know who you really are...you could really help us..."

One of The Divine Goddesses behind Yohel faked a cough to attract his attention.

Yohel turned around, he asked. "What's the issue, Tree?"

Tree rubbed her forehead and struggled to stand through Yohel's spiritual pressure. She finally balanced herself to stand tall and gave her older brother a stare.

"Can you ease down already?" Tree struggled to walk towards Yohel and Soulless, the spiritual pressure continuing to weigh her down. "You're hurting our baby sister!"

Yohel scoffed. "She's only hurting herself."

Tree rolled her eyes, she couldn't stand the stubbornness of her older brother.

Tree and Yohel gazed at each other with tension, leaving Soulless to wonder if the two were actually siblings. There was clearly an indifference between the two that left him curious.

"We're letting this kid go anyway." Tree said. "So ease your spiritual pressure."

Yohel's eyes tilted from Tree towards Soulless, then he replied. "This young man is certainly special...but he needs more seasoning to complete against the likes of us. Therefore, I think I'll send him to Divine Dungeon."

Tree lowered her head. "Are you...sure?"

"He'll survive." Yohel grinned. "I'm sure of it."

Divine Dungeon! Is this guy outta his freakin' mind! If I have to fight against other divine beings, will I die? Sure, I was able to punch the guy once but that was luck! If there's other spiritual beings like him around...I'm cooked!

Despite his concerns of strength in the dungeon, Soulless didn't mind the decision because he felt a bigger worry in his heart.

"Where is Jago and Tito?"

Yohel and Tree glanced at him, both of them admired the compassion from the kid.

"They'll only slow you down, but fine I'll send them there with you." Yohel answered. "In Divine Dungeon."

Soulless didn't have time for a reply, or to open his mouth at all before he was transported to another location.

Divine Dungeon.

Tito, Jago, and Jago's family were awaiting when he arrived.

"Jago!" Soulless shouted in excitement. "You're guys all good?"

The animal beings from The Animal Kingdom couldn't wrap their heads around the spiritual essence of Divine Dungeon.

Most dungeons were dark and demonic, but Divine Dungeon was illuminated by its white and silver divine aura.

"Guys!" Soulless called out to his fearful team. "Allow me to lead the way, we can clear this dungeon and go home!"
