Lou Chenyu handed their ID to the front desk at the Lingjiang Grand Hotel. "Hello, I have a reservation for Room 520. Also, a gentleman left a briefcase for me."
"One moment, please." The front desk attendant took Lou Chenyu's ID, registered it, and then returned it. She retrieved a black briefcase from behind the counter. "This is for you. Your room is ready."
"Thank you." Lou Chenyu took the room key, grabbed the briefcase, and hurried to the elevator.
Opening the door to Room 520, Lou Chenyu quickly went inside and closed it. They then rapidly checked the room to make sure there were no hidden dangers before placing the briefcase on the bed and opening it.
Inside the briefcase, there was a plastic walkie-talkie, a plastic ruler, and a box of pills. The walkie-talkie looked similar to the toy walkie-talkies sold online, and the plastic ruler was the short kind used by elementary school students.
Lou Chenyu figured this was definitely the Organization's attempt to conceal their true communication methods, just in case. Even if the briefcase was lost, the Organization's communication codes wouldn't be exposed.
As for the ruler, although its length seemed extremely short, with only 10 centimeters of markings, hehehe, Lou Chenyu sneered. It was, however, perfectly suited for its purpose.
As for the box labeled "Yuting," Lou Chenyu knew that it didn't contain emergency contraception. Instead, it held a highly poisonous Cyanide. Just one tiny pill would be enough to kill an adult in seconds.
