Ren opened the envelope, pulling a thin brown paper that had calligraphic handwriting in crimson colors:
Congratulations, my child, you are now the head of the household, with the key to the door. Our beautiful house isn't real but isn't imaginary; instead, it rests in the middle.
You do not need to be told that, as the head of the family, you can use every family member for your needs. If you are angry, you can beat them up to release frustration. It is pretty effective, and I recommend it.
You can also use them for whatever situation is desired. You have absolute freedom, but there is a requirement we want from you.
We need more people to play the game after nightfall.
He checked the two black and white pictures that looked freshly made, with the images in high definition.
The first image: An all-smiling group picture that had him and all the cycles of moms and dads as they ate cakes and posed for the camera.
The weird thing was that he was the only one in the picture in colored form.
Ren didn't know what this was; he didn't even want to find out what it was, so he checked the second picture.
His eyes bulged.
The second image was Mr. Piggisim's face in an unnecessary close-up in an emerald tint. He was screaming in obvious pain, like he was being tortured.
He felt something on the back of the picture and flipped it. Written in the same calligraphy style as the letter:
This house is wonderful, where anyone who has lost their sense of reality can come.
It is also a beautiful place to die; this place has made people wish they had taken their lives at a young age.
Ren looked at the ceiling in acceptance of his situation. What was going on?
He needed answers to head to the living room to investigate the pictures for a clue.
Before that, he went to the wardrobe to grab thick ropes to bind Mr. Piggisim, just in case he randomly woke up.
After that, he entered the living room to find the door fixed. Wonderful.
He switched the television off and sat on the couch to check the images.
He didn't know or care about the time that passed; he could check the time, but that wasn't necessary, as he had found out some things to put down in his notebook that he found.
He had to write every clue he found, no matter how insignificant.
He could guess that the cycles of moms and dads came from this home, which was discussed in the letter and the image.
And this key that was talked about, was it an item he had? Most likely, an ability like how his game came to life inaccurately.
The moms and dads came into this world through his game. Was that their proper form or something? How did it work?
The incident at the tunnel caused all of this; he needed to go and check it soon when daylight came.
First, he needed to call the police because he wasn't comfortable with Mr. Piggisim in his house; he didn't even know what happened to him.
He called the police.
"Hello, I have an emergency. Mr. Piggism is in my house and has been subdued, yet I am not sure how long. Please come over." He said as he checked the bedroom and found Mr. Piggism still on the floor.
Nothing to worry about, yet.
He cut the call before the operator could question further. Now he had to wait for them to come.
He checked the news on his mobile phone, but something bothered him.
There was no news on the passenger's disappearance during the tunnel incident.
How is that possible?
He checked bus schedules on the evening he took the bus, and wouldn't you know it.
Due to the heavy rain, all services have been cancelled for tonight.
Ren felt his head sting a bit. What bus did he then take?
Sirens rang out through the heavy rain. He heard footsteps before heavy pounding on his door.
Police are here; that was fast.
