JAY-JAY POV
JAY-JAY POV
"When are we going back home?" I asked Keifer.
He looked at me, hoodie half-zipped, hair still messy, and said, "Probably Monday."
I nodded.
Pretended I wasn't already spiraling.
Section E, ever the loud, immediately exploded.
"Jay, let's do something fun like swimming!" Ci-n shouted.
"It's cold," I said.
"Let's do it this evening then," I added, already regretting it.
"So what do we do until then?" Drew asked.
"Let's play truth or dare," Rory suggested, eyes gleaming with chaos.
"Yeah, that would be fun," Edrix said.
I blinked.
Panicked.
Keifer smirked.
Ci-n clapped his hands. "JayJay goes first!"
"Why me?" I asked.
"Because you're emotionally compromised," Felix said.
"Because you're the main character," Blaster added.
"Because we want drama," Kit whispered.
I sighed.
"Fine. Truth."
Rory leaned forward. "Do you love Keifer?"
I blinked.
Keifer blinked.
Section E leaned in like they were watching a slow-motion car crash.
I tugged the hoodie tighter.
Keifer reached over and held my hand.
I melted.
Then panicked.
Then whispered, "Yes."
Section E exploded.
Ci-n screamed.
Blaster started singing again.
Yuri groaned, "Can we skip the musical?"
David threw confetti.
Keifer kissed my cheek.
I combusted.
"Keifer's turn!" Mayo yelled.
"Dare," he said immediately.
Felix grinned. "Kiss JayJay. Like you mean it."
I blinked.
Keifer didn't.
He leaned in.
Grabbed my face.
And kissed me.
Slow.
Warm.
Dangerous.
Section E screamed louder.
I shoved him.
He laughed.
I glared.
"I'm changing the topic," I said, already bracing for impact. "Ci-n, your turn."
He looked up, eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Truth or dare?" I asked.
"Dare," he said instantly.
I smirked.
"Do a chicken dance."
The room went silent.
Then Ci-n stood up.
No hesitation.
No shame.
He flapped his arms.
He clucked.
He spun in a circle.
Section E lost their minds.
Felix fell off the couch.
Blaster started beatboxing.
Kit screamed, "This is the best day of my life!"
Yuri looked like he was regretting every decision that led him here.
Keifer leaned into me and whispered, "You're evil."
I smiled.
"Strategically."
Ci-n finished with a dramatic bow.
Everyone clapped.
"Edrix, your turn. Truth or dare?" Rory asked, already smirking.
"Fine. Truth," Edrix said.
I knew exactly what to ask.
"What did our friend say after you proposed to her?" I asked, eyes locked on his.
Edrix hesitated.
He looked uncertain.
Then finally said, "She said… yes."
I screamed.
Rory fist-bumped me like we'd just won a war.
"Mission Friend and Edrix: success," he declared.
Section E exploded again.
And me?
I was emotionally compromised.
Romantically obliterated.
Publicly roasted.
And somehow?
Still in love.
The entire morning was a circus
teasing me, laughing at something stupid
Acting like they were auditioning for a comedy show I didn't sign up for.
