Pearl divers live their life diving into the deepest parts of the ocean in search of treasures. They risk their lives for these creature-made gems, formed from the struggles of another form of life. What gives humans the right to take pearls? If we ask this, then what gives humans the right to take the life of animals? We could say it is the food chain and we are at the top. But then what of the ants we step on? Then is it our intelligence? Are we that superior where we can dictate which lives we take and not? Then what if something overtakes us in the food chain? Does that give it the right to take our life?
May 7th, the apocalypse fell upon the world. On December 15th, the world officially named the strange phenomenon that fell upon it the "nightmare spell." January 1st, the first Legacy Clan was formed. The world has been thrown into chaos, and with homes lost, many have found home in the darkest parts of what is left of the world's cities, forming a new social class. It has been dubbed the outskirts. March 20th, all of the great Legacy Clans have been formed. September 21st, humanity has fully arisen again.
