"Ahem." Kaito cleared his throat twice and sighed: "You've grown up, my little Ralts." He smiled softly. "Now I should call you Gardevoir."
Gardevoir stood tall and graceful. Kaito felt the familiar sentiment of a parent watching their daughter grow up in the blink of an eye.
Gardevoir extended her arms and embraced Kaito, a subtle fragrance wafting into his nose. Then, Kaito felt his cheek seem to touch something soft.
"Kaito, I will protect you. Forever and ever." Gardevoir's voice was melodious, filled with a resolute tone.
Kaito could feel Gardevoir's pure inner thoughts and felt greatly comforted, silently enjoying the moment. "No matter how things change, in my heart, you will always be that little Ralts. I will protect you too."
After a long while, they separated. There was still important business to attend to today. Kaito planned to go to town, where there were several ranches, to buy some ranch Pokémon to raise—or rather, to bring back some Pokémon for his estate.
Before that, he needed to meet Rotom.
The next moment, his phone transformed from its original black casing to a red, more elongated one. On its back was a pattern resembling a smiling face. It was the Rotom Phone!
"Rotom! Rotom!"
"It's great to meet everyone, I'm Rotom!" The Rotom Phone floated in the air, circling around everyone a few times, its tone very happy.
Rotom can not only enter phones but also other appliances, such as refrigerators, fans, and will possess special abilities within them. The Rotom Phone also had many abilities. It could control the phone with extreme precision and speed; as soon as Kaito spoke, it could complete any task instantly, such as editing a video in no time. At the same time, it could block information detection, protecting Kaito's personal information from being leaked in this big data era.
"Woof." Growlithe barked, then excitedly chased Rotom in circles; he really liked the playful Electric/Ghost-type Pokémon.
Kaito was also very satisfied. Having such a Rotom Phone could save a lot of trouble.
It was almost time for him to depart. Machamp and Bunnelby would stay home to tend to the fields and clear some more land. Growlithe and Gardevoir would accompany him to town. As for the Bagon egg, he planned to examine it later when he returned.
Kaito took out a Poké Ball and released Bunnelby.
"Hoppy?"
"Hoppy?" Bunnelby looked around, then froze in place. Where was Ralts? Who was this tall Pokémon?
"Bunnelby, that is Ralts, she just evolved into her final form, Gardevoir."
"Hoppy?!" Bunnelby was greatly astonished, pressing his small hands to the sides of his cheeks, his mouth wide open, displaying an expression of extreme disbelief. Bunnelby was shocked for ten thousand years. Yesterday she was so small, about the same size as him. How did she become so big overnight?!
Finally, with the explanation from a few Pokémon, Bunnelby had no choice but to believe the truth that Gardevoir was, in fact, Ralts.
"Hoppy?" Bunnelby crossed his arms, adopting a mature stance, and nodded, saying: "Hoo bi hoo bi." If Ralts evolved like this, then his Bunnelby should also evolve into something not far off. It must be a powerful and handsome Pokémon!
At this thought, Bunnelby showed a silly grin, a hint of drool glistening at the corner of its mouth, like a silly son from a landlord's family.
With Viridian Power, Kaito could easily perceive Pokémon's thoughts, so he clearly understood Bunnelby's internal fantasy. Hmm... Kaito felt it was better not to tell Bunnelby the truth and let him dream a little longer. His evolved form, Diggersby, was described as 'powerful,' which was fine. As for 'handsome'... that was completely out of the question.
After instructing Machamp and Bunnelby, Kaito left the farm and headed towards town. His farm was a bit remote, with no other farms nearby, and the closest town required about half an hour of walking. But with a riding Pokémon, the time could be greatly reduced.
Kaito walked leisurely, glanced at the Growlithe beside him, and sighed: "If only I had a Fire Stone, I could let you evolve into Arcanine."
"Woof!" Growlithe shook his head, then, attracted by a Caterpie on the roadside, he ran off to playfully tease it.
In the shadows, a darkly colored Arbok slithered through the grass, its body pressed to the ground, hidden among the weeds. It suppressed its aura, and its hidden snake eyes shifted their attention from the Caterpie to Growlithe. It flicked its tongue, drooling. Compared to a green worm, a Growlithe, with its higher strength and potential, was naturally more delicious!
After approaching a certain distance, it still hadn't alerted its prey, quietly coiling its body, preparing to gather strength. This was a predatory method etched into its bones. In nature, there is also a food chain among Pokémon, and Arbok undoubtedly played the role of a predator.
However, before it could leap out, a voice rang out.
"Flame Wheel!"
The next moment, Growlithe ignited with scorching flames, which quickly covered its entire body. Then it bent its body and charged out in a wheel-like posture. The eerie flames rotated with it, stirring up surrounding whirlwinds, and the wind fanned the flames, making them more and more intense.
In Arbok's snake eyes, the crimson flame grew closer and closer, and it was momentarily unable to dodge.
Bang!
A flash of fire erupted. Arbok felt as if it had been hit by a Rollout Donphan, its entire body flying into the air and crashing heavily into a tree trunk behind it. It landed dizzy and disoriented.
Arbok's profile: Name: Arbok, Nickname: None, Ability: Shed Skin, Type: Poison, Level: Lv. 23, Individual Values: HP (16), Attack (21), Defense (18), Special Attack (22), Special Defense (20), Speed (17), Moves: Wrap, Poison Sting, Bite, Screech..., Egg Moves: None, Potential: Good-tier.
Arbok's appearance resembles a giant purple cobra, with thin black stripes on its body. The terrifying patterns on its belly are said to appear in several different designs depending on the region it inhabits. Arbok's personality is very persistent; once it Lock-On to its prey, it will pursue relentlessly.
