EMILY'S P.O.V
It's been two years since Leon has been rejected by that bastard and he's changed. The problem is not that he is not doing his duty as as alpha, trust me he's doing that just fine. It's just that he's been sort of hollow since that day, he no longer smiles like he used to and has become more cold even towards me.
It worries me that I cant do anything about this, I've tried talking with jade on ways to make him happier. It worked for a little bit then he would just return back to being cold. Sometimes I wish I could just rip that bastard to pieces for what he did to my brother.
JADE'S P.O.V
It's been two years since Leon's rejection. Although he looks fine, I know that he's not alright. Me and Emily thought that we could distract him by setting him up on blind dates, so that he can forget that asshole.
Leon agreed to go on the blind dates, but when he'd come back and we ask him how it went he'd say with a tired look, "I just don't feel anything towards him/her, and I don't want to trap them in a relationship where I can't love them."
Sometimes I'd just catch him staring blankly in silence, I'm worried about Leon. I just know that someday that bastard will regret what he did.
LEON'S P.O.V
Two years after my rejection, I guess I've been doing fine. I have been throwing myself in work as a way to manage the emptiness in my chest.
I needed something to do with myself. I spent most of my time either training the pack members solving the issues in the pack. In short, the pack is running smoothly.
My sister and Jade have taken it upon themselves to look for a partner for me. I didn't want to worry them so I agreed, then they set me up for numerous blind dates. Honestly I'm tired of them, I never felt a connection with any of them.
The pain became was several times worse anytime my ruts came, it was more pain than pleasure. I'd usually just hole myself in my room until my rut ended, during that time Emily would help me run the pack. I don't go near anyone during that time because I usually attack anyone I see, one time a pack member was around my vicinity on my ruts, If Emily was not there to protect them he would have died.
So here I am on another blind date, it was a woman this time. She was tall and slender with a wide waist, she had light brown skin with long wavy black hair. She hand soft facial features, she had pink lips and brown almond eyes.
Her name was Demi, she looked like she had had a good personality. I tried talking to her to get to know her and made small talk.
We were getting along and we had a good date, I felt like we could be good friends.
I turned to her and said "Look I don't know if we could become something more, but it would be nice to be friends first and see where it goes."
Demi smiled at me, "Sure, I don't think it would be nice to date a guy I just met, but it would be nice to be friends."
We then exchanged numbers and left the cafe. I offered to drop her off but she refused saying she already has a car, we went our separate ways.
When I got home, all I wanted to do was rest but I had work to do. I went past the bustle of the living room where some of the pack members were staying.
I went upstairs towards my office and sat down on my office chair as I began to do my work. Before a few minutes of peace passed…
Before jade came in "So how was it?"
I sighed in frustration, "It was good"
She looked happy at that statement, "So… are we expecting another date?"
I looked at her with a blank face and spat out,"Maybe."
She looked exited and said happily, "That's good news, let me go and tell Emily." With that she rushed out of my office with rushed steps.
After a while I started to talk with raven "Do you think we'll be able to accept her?"
Raven went silent for a while before he spat out "Maybe."
"…."
He then said seriously, "I think it's possible to be friends, but to feel love for her I don't think so"
As an alpha, I needed to adhere to the responsibility of having a Luna. It was meant to be the job of my mate but look how that went.
Felling tired of thinking about that topic, I was rounding up my work when Emily came in.
I turned to her to chastise her thinking she came here to talk about my date but stopped seeing her serious expression.
"Leon, there has been some movement in our border, we don't know what so we need your help just in case."
I nodded at her and we both went into the car and drove to the border area of our pack forest. We then shifted into our wolves and ran to the place where the movement was reported.
My wolf was huge even for an alpha. I was black with red stripe on my back going down to my tail. Emily's wolf was similar but was smaller and did not have that red stripe.
As we reached the area, we started looking around the area for any signs of movement. Then I caught a scent of blood and moved towards that direction,
After moving in that direction for a while, I came across a cave and went inside. I went inside and looked around before my eyes caught sight of a man.
I went towards the man and dragged him by the hand outside the cave, once we were outside Emily ran to meet us. Once she came near us and registered that I was fine, she turned her attention towards the man.
I said to her, "Run to the car and get the first aid box, then meet us at the lake near here and bring clothes too."
Emily nodded then turned and ran towards the car's direction, leaving me and the man alone. I turned towards the man and carried him in my mouth and ran towards the lake.
When we reached the lake, I went towards the hoe and threw him in the lake. I felt no guilt because he disturbed my peace. I then picked him up in my mouth and then dipped him in the water so that the water will rinse away the dirt all over him from the neck down.
I then dragged him closer to the shore and dropped him there. I then went to a tree and lied down under it's shade. After a while Emily came with the clothes and the first aid box.
As I saw her I shifted back and took the clothes from her and wore them, it was a pair of joggers and a loose shirt. Emily turned her gaze towards the man.
"Why on earth would you leave him under the sun like that?." she asked
I answered, "So that he can dry off." mischief glinting in my eyes.
We went towards him and crouched down to inspect his wounds. The first thing I noticed was his height, he was even taller than me but not by a lot. The second thing I noticed was how pale his skin was, it was almost as white as paper.
After patching up his wounds, we used water to rinse the dirt on his face and hair.
He was very beautiful, he had short platainium blond hair, soft features but not enough to be womanly and pink soft looking lips. It seemed even Emily was amazed by his looks.
After we patched him up, I slung him over my shoulder and took him to the car. We put him in the backseat and drove to the pack hospital, and got a doctor to examine him.
After the doctor examined him we set soldiers to guard the room. We then went to disscuss with the doctor over the examination results.
"Well I have interesting news alpha." the doctor said.
"Then explain to us the problem." I said curtly.
The doctor was taken aback and said, "W-well T-the thing is that this man is not a human or werewolf-"
"Then what is he?"Emily interrupted
"he's a vampire" the doctor said in one shot
Then there was silence. Everyone was wondering what a vampire was doing all the way this deep in werewolf territory, because there was no sightings of any vampires near us.
I turned around and went towards the vampires room. I went past the guards and entered the room, I found him sitting on the bed looking at me.
