Kagami was born with a unique condition.
His eyes allow him to see the Chakra that exists around him and in the environment since he was born.
Because of this he was able to understand how much Chakra is needed to control a jutsu clearly.
This makes him able to learn the most amount of Ninjutsu as long as it does not possess biological requirements.
"Hmm. There goes nothing. Earth release lightweight rock technique." Kagami said as he jumped into the sky.
He saw how much Chaka is used when performing this jutsu and how the Chakra is applied throughout his body because he saw Onoki constantly using it when he was at his office.
So he tried to use it the same way as how Onoki used it.
His body feels like it doesn't weigh for a few seconds after his legs leave the ground.
And he jumped a few inches from the ground, far above the height of even some trees.
Of course, it only lasted for a few seconds as he immediately fell back to the ground.
This was his first time using such a justu so his body was not accustomed to going through the process of not weighing almost nothing and then returning to normal.
It also has no experience in releasing Chakra that exceeded the amount needed to maintain a clone or a transformation for the first time.
Even if he knows how the jutsu works and how he could use it in theory he still needed experience and familiarity in order to effortlessly use it.
So, he was unable to fall gracefully and hit the ground with his face flat on the ground.
"This should be considered as successful," Kagami said while smiling.
Although he didn't fly he still became weightless for a few seconds.
He then got up and wiped away the dirt that was on his clothes.
His progress can be considered to be very fast as it has only been a few hours since he started to practice.
The world is not fair.
Hard work does not guarantee success.
And milestones and goal posts that many people wanted to achieve can be easily accomplished by a talented person who doesn't even need to put in a fraction of the time and effort.
"Should I go and see the Tsuchikage right now? Or should I try to improve this even further so that I can even fly using this technique just like him?" He said to himself.
Kagami would be rushing to show off his accomplishment if he had put effort in because if that was the case he would be very proud of himself for accomplishing such a feat.
But because he barely put any effort in at all he still feels like he has not accomplished anything significant yet.
He was happy when he discovered that he had successfully used the technique a few moments ago but that was a momentary feeling and it just felt like he still needed to train more.
Just like how many people who lack talent yearn for results there is a problem that some people who possess talent can also have, that is thinking that what you have done and accomplished is not enough.
I should first try to maintain this jutsu for a prolonged period of time so that I can float for a few minutes. Then I should be thinking about how to move around. Just to be sure that I have fully mastered the jutsu. He thought in his mind.
Kagami spends more than eight hours straight trying to master the Earth release light-weight rock technique that day.
