Woojin stood in the bathroom, splashing water onto his face. The foundation washed away, circling the drain along with the effort it took to look normal. Dark shadows still clung beneath his eyes. His skin looked tired. Bare.
He wiped his face with a towel and lifted his head, meeting his reflection in the mirror. A smile slowly spread across his lips.
Jungtae wasn't far from him anymore. He was right there…inside his room.
Locked.
A soft chuckle slipped from Woojin's mouth, thin and unsettling. He turned away from the mirror and walked into the kitchen.
He began preparing dinner, moving calmly, happy. He cooked Jungtae's favorite food. He knows every detail about Jungtae, what Jungtae liked, what he didn't like to eat, even if Jungtae didn't speak his mind, he knew how to make him talk about it. Of course he knew. He was with his side for five years, Owen couldn't match that.
Upstairs, Jungtae blinked awake.
