The new secret agency
There were two knocks on the door.
She rolled sideways on the bed stretching her body as she got down
"I'm coming" she said, heading for the door of the room,
it was close to midnight and yet her secretary has come to bother her,
Could they be in danger she thought, she quickly shrugged off the baffling scenes of them not making it back away from her mind.
She unlocked the door's bolt opening it,it was bree, her personal secretary
Bree had worked as an intern in her company as a secretary since she was a little above fifteen years,
She's been working with her for three years since then.
she was the only one she could trust with this responsibility.
"What is it Bree?" she said yawning,
"Mrs Carla,there's something urgent you need to attend to"
"Are they safe?","yes ma'am, Bree clarified",
"I'll be with you in a second," she said, shutting the door.
The incident of a goblin appearing in the phantom middle school spread around the whole city like wild fire,
Relevant well enough to reach the wealthiest woman in the state,
Carla Brynes,
Moreover because her daughter Pauline Byrnes was a student at the middle school
For all Carla knew a girl named Zaya was the cause of it,such a situation would have warranted extreme investigation, but after persuasion from her daughter Pauline.
Carla used her influence to shut the whole operation down,
Yet still, she carried out her personal investigations.
Her hands reached for a robe, searching for an outfit that was comfortable yet official,
she nodded her head as she selected one.
She arrived at the surveillance room in her mansion,wide sets of screens hanging on the wall.
Her personal secretary standing at the front of the screens,
The screen in the middle paused,
showing the scene of five girls in a cave,
they were none other than the phantom girls.
The paused screen reflected the excitement the group of girls had as they found the most beautiful part of a dark cave.
"Looks like they've found some silly pirate treasures" Carla said as she smirked,"I do not see the importance,"
"how does this relate to the goblin?" Carla asked Bree,
Bree then responded as she played the video showing the exact
location and moment where the girls were.
Carla walked closer towards where the screen was,
staring intently at the drawings on the wall they matched that of the ones on the files they manage to get from the governmental organizations.
"How old are these cave drawings Bree?"
"Roughly two thousand years old ma'am,"
"What does all this mean?"
"In my own concept this is a warning,"
Carla looked back at Bree totally confused,
"A warning?" She asked,"yes ma," Bree then continued,
"it's just a speculation on my part but all those drawings are located in the entrance of that mountain,"
"if they go any deeper they will be in danger she said,"
Carla was lost in thought this was deeper than she had imagined.
"Send a safety crew to heir location now,"
"My daughter must make it alive,"
she said," also prepare an interview board for the new secret organization; "
"World magical containment organization"
*Top secret*
"We'll begin recruiting first thing in the morning."
Zaya was staring straight at the painting seeming like she was stuck to it,
"Zaya?"
Ashara called,what does this mean?
Without hesitation Zaya abruptly shifted her to gaze to where the hot lake was,

For Zoey's sake
"Leave now everyone!"
she yelled,
"something dangerous is coming!"
Before the others could react there was an earthquake,
the ground below shook mercilessly,
they all stumbled hitting the ground hard,
icicles began to drop but thanks to their protective suits they were only slightly injured.
Amidst the chaos Zaya yelled "No!!" her voice matching the ravaging sound of the earth quake,
she transformed to her fox form tearing apart her suit like it was made of delicate rubber,
she yelled louder,
"Leave now, forget about us!"
before the others could grasp what was going on she launched towards
Zoey,the ground below Zoey opened revealing a deep hole sending her into the depths of the mountain,
"Zoey!"
"Argh!"
Zaya yelled as she aimed towards the hole trying all her best to get the slightest grip of Zoey's hand but she failed,
she followed,diving into the dark hole to get her friend,
she began leaping from one side of the hole to another trying all her best to catch Zoey like her whole life depended on it,
yet it was all in vain Zoey was still a hair's breath away from her,
Zaya's skin began to itch as steam clouded the hole,
this could have only meant one thing she thought,she could feel Zoey was losing her consciousness the sunken look on her face showed she had blacked out from fear and pain.
The last thing Zaya wanted in this world was one of her friends to die.
She gritted her teeth her fangs puncturing her, lips blood gushing from it,
She went for a mighty leap growling loudly in what felt like sound waves erupting from her mouth, grabbing Zoey on the way the force of the growl was so intense the hole cracked, the thick rocks that where foundations of the cave around her broke into shackles,
revealing the source of the steam,
Larva, it filled the whole area like a massively great river.
She began dodging the falling rocks,using some as stepping stones,
trying all she could to get away from the fire lake.
it was horrifying,
her eyes scrambled looking for a large boulder to land on.
She found some but they were a bit far away,
moving swiftly through the rocks holding the unconscious Zoey in her hands tightly,
she hit the boulder in the larva midst dodging the incoming rocks from above and without a millisecond of hesitation,
muscles pounded in her leg, she launched upwards sending the mighty boulder into inevitable shackles leaping to the other boulders in the hot larva this continued for a few seconds
As a dangerous thought crossed her mind what if the others didn't make it back she thought if they didn't make it they should be half way towards the boiling volcano now,amidst the rocks that were still falling,
veins bulged from her skin she jumped upwards once more from rock to rock, searching for any clue of her friends,
she miscalculated a bit as a stray gigantic rock aimed for her position,
unexpecting it she faced her back towards it and clashed with the large rock.
it broke sending immense pains all through her fox body.
she could see her form giving out but she wasn't going to give up, not yet,
Until Zoey was safe, even with the pains in her body she twirled around frantically again and again spinning faster than car tyres her hands stretched forward,Zoey in her palms.
She threw Zoey upwards as she fell back towards the volcano.
Coughing a mouthful of blood but she wasn't going to give up still,not today.
Zoey was not safe yet, Zaya was sent off from her weak trance as she sniffed out some shrieks far away in the larva she felt the energy erupting from these beings as it snapped her back to life, they were coming for her.
She looked upwards to Zoey she was faraway indeed,
over half a mile upwards zaya knew she wouldn't last long over there she was not protected at all the soothing suit couldn't be measured to the heat of the volcano.
She could see two rocks aiming directly at Zoey's position; the slightest hit from those two rocks would definitely lead to her death.

Chaotic rage of zaya
Now she was angry, there was a searing pain in her back,
That rock really sent her flying,
Zaya hardly ever felt the need to use her power to the utmost level but right now she was standing face to face with death,
The possible death of her loved one,
She realized how a matter of life and death can push one past her limit.
In that moment she felt something inside of her awakening,
She growled her voice resounding through the volcanic area far louder than a carnival's speaker her mouth began to tear apart from the force it took out,
She balanced her self on air as she took one last leap on a rock sending the rock straight to the larva as though it had been attacked by lightning,
hitting the boiling larva like a meteor creating powerful tidal waves around the whole volcano,a huge part of where the rock hit was void of any trace of larva.
As Zaya teared through the air all the falling rocks dispersed from the area she dominated,
as though they were hit by an invisible bomb because of the immense momentum she carried.
She headed for Zoey, catching Zoey on the way, immediately destroying the protective suit Zoey wore, she quickly transformed to her regular self so as not to kill the defenseless Zoey.
she could see the upper cave above she tensed her muscles ready for collision
she transformed back hitting the cave's ceiling, directly stumbling away from that position so as not to fall back into the hole,
she felt total pain all through her body, she knew it was not over yet but her fighting power was drained her fox form left refusing to return she was absolutely weak she hit he ground along with Zoey she was holding,
she checked if Zoey was alive, smiling as she knew she was still breathing.
Her eyes blurring zaya knew if she let go to the pain she would die that instant she didn't care anymore after all Zoey was alive someone will definitely come for them.
She then sensed that powerful energy again, they were closer than before and this time she could smell it clear enough to get a mind picture,
They were larva creatures ,from their speed and noise they should be roughly a hundred in number,
she rose up again, lifted Zoey on her back and began running to the entrance of the cave,
She could feel the larva monsters closing in on them she sprinted faster,
enough to closely match a bike's speed Her heart beating immeasurably fast,
Finally she made it to the entrance of the cave the cold snow swept across her body she felt relieved,
she ran a bit further her eyes pacing looking for a trace of the others she knew she did not have much time the larva creatures where coming and they must not be unleashed into this world she had to kill all of them or at least trap them in their hiding place,
she could only resort to one last action,she changed back to her fox form her muscles growing larger, fangs grew longer,
claws evolving from her fingers purple fur enveloping her body,
she sniffed around running in all directions,finally she did it she sniffed them out,at that moment the larva creatures were almost at the cave's entrance,
zaya ran with all her might towards where her friends were located they were not so far from where she was they all seemed to be headed to one direction,
Zaya knew it wasn't totally right but she screamed
"Zoey!"
Zoey suddenly jerked back to reality, without wasting an inch of time,zaya used both of her hands and with all her might she could,throwing Zoey towards the others Zoey yelled on the way in surprise,astonishment and bewilderment,the others noticed a girl flying towards them in the raging snow,
At first they were shocked but
Ashara with the most Honed senses knew who it was leaped and caught her on the way,
"Zoey are you alright,"Ashara called,
"I'm fine,
what of zaya?!" Pauline yelled "did she make it?!"
"I don't know"
Zoey said as she shook her head in sadness,
"we have to go back to save her" Natasha suggested
"No we can't" June said
"if we go back there, she would be the one saving us,"
"I'm very certain she saved Zoey" June continued
"zaya is the only one that can confront that disaster"
But it's a natural disaster Pauline said "she might need our help",

The strange female voice
"No" Ashara said intervening "we are not yet ready", "we'll be like cats facing lions," it's totally gonna be an epic fail"
Ashara said sadly,in the midst of their arguments an avalanche appeared from the top of the mountain, sliding down as there was an outburst from the mountain larva began pouring.
The volcano erupted making it more chaotic.
They got on their gliders, Zoey together with Pauline as they began gliding away from the volcano,
In the depth of their hearts they knew at most zaya was not going to make it back,
but none of them in their right senses would go towards that volcano.
On getting away safely they were met by the rescue team,
who carried each and everyone of them like their legs had broken, putting them into an ambulance which rode away from the eruption site as quick as possible,they all stared back at the volcano, poking their heads through the window,the cops arrived along with a bunch of firefighters they were going to push back the larva and stop it from flooding city.
"She'll always remain in my heart" Zoey thought after all she wouldn't be alive now without her.
Zaya sat crossed legs in her fox form at the front of the cave her eyes closed,she was trying to get the strength she had lost back.
She focused on her heart rate and breathing trying to increase the blood flow in her body so she could get stronger,a part of what she learnt from her father,
Zaya, still in her lotus position, right at her front were the creatures she'd been waiting for. She stood up and opened her eyes. A chill ran down her spine as she saw reptilian looking creatures, their skin bright red with thick scales as armor, their head shaped like that of a snake.
They all held different weapons in their hands but their crimson eyes looked human and glowed bright red,
They suddenly began to look at each other as confused yet fearful gazes appeared on their faces. Zaya no longer held back her claw sharpened,seeing this one of the reptilian creatures launched at her.
Without hesitation she attacked the creature giving it a deadly punch which sent it flying a few meters away,the others joined sharp daggers in their hands.
Zaya began shielding, dodging and kicking these human beasts,she was definitely a lot more stronger than they were judging from their appearance.
This continued for a while,it didn't end,zaya didn't want to kill them as they could be probably humans and she was the one who invaded their home she was being pushed back they began hitting her from different directions she moved swiftly amongst them like she was water itself,
She took one of the weapons being held by one of them before she could use it,
She was smashed on the ground reptilians holding her as tight as they could,
One of the reptilians grabbed a sharp dagger heading straight for Zaya's head,her eyes widened; this creature had no mercy at all.
Or maybe they just hated foxes,moving her head with speed she dodged all the daggers strikes,
Zaya used a lot of her strength to over power the reptilians keeping her down.
She took to her heels in fear heading towards were she saw her friends last,
She suddenly heard a voice,"stop!" "Return!" "Break the wall on the right".

The three headed snake
She heard it as clear as day, she immediately entered the cave back, weaving through the reptilians, trying to break the wall on the right, at this point a heavy strike hit her from the back. It was the reptilian creatures.
The voice inside her screamed "kill them all!" "You have to make it",
Zaya raged uncontrollably as she began slashing through the troops of reptilian creatures with her claws,
Her face was bizarre blood splashing everywhere from left to right some tried to escape out of the cave but she caught up, killed them all, not leaving anyone alive then she heard the voice again,
"Break the wall on the right"
"Find me!" I cannot hold it much longer" the strange voice said,
Zaya was reluctant at first why should she follow this voice but there was some sense of familiarity in the tone maybe she could finally meet another half breed fox she thought,
She began smashing the wall on the right with one of the large weapons of the remains of the reptilian creatures.
soon enough, it broke into pieces revealing a passage with walls plastered with glittering bronze alloys, along with the floor it was beautiful, as they were other symmetrical designs on it,she dashed in through the narrow way at breakneck speed.
She stopped, at her front were two paths, "where should I go?" she yelled expecting for the strange voice to answer,
"Down!"the voice yelled "be quick Anna" the voice screamed even louder than before, "or you might not make it in time,"
Zaya was stunned by what the voice meant,Anna, she began to think absolutely confused, she shrugged off the thoughts and stumped on the ground repeatedly. It broke sending her deep into the mountain.
To her surprise she crashed among more reptilian beasts this time in thousands,
Zaya yelled "I'm gonna die!"
"You do not have the time to die!" the strange voice yelled "Assert your dominance, use the mighty growl",
Zaya then remembered the growl she made when Zoey was in danger, but how will that stop thousands of these reptilian creatures from trying to kill her it might attack and even kill some but not enough to kill all,she thought
she growled mightily,
The ground below her shook,the air ravaged sending some of the reptilian creatures flying
After the loud and powerful growl, they all stopped, they all seemed to be clearing the way for a creature.
There was a loud shriek right from the ground a few miles away from zaya's position as a three headed snake came out from the ground, larva dripping from around its tail,
"Kill this" the strange voice spoke "it'll be the only way to cross the curseth bridge" "speak to me not till you've crossed it"
"Make haste I cannot hold this much longer" the voice spoke louder,
Zaya expected the three headed snake to move and attack her, but it was seemingly stuck to the ground, it just came out from it staring at her far away.
Then zaya went forward for the kill, at full force ignoring the pains in her back, her torn mouth and her definitely broken bones.
The snake shot out some liquid from its mouth zaya did not need to think to know it was poison,
she dodged, aiming straight for a solid attack,while on airs she then thought what was she going to strike with?
Surely her claws were not enough and she was already halfway, stopping this momentum would only lead to a fatal injury.
Zaya could only leap over the dangerous snake landing on the other side. The snake turned its head firing towards Zaya facing the back, she dodged again and again.
she dashed into the midst of the reptilian creatures grabbing a rocky hammer in the hands of one of the warriors she went towards the great snake aiming for its head she was sure she had it she dodged all the incoming poison spills coming from the snake she hit the hammer on one of the snakes head it dealt a fatal destruction but was not close to satisfying.
Zaya saw that the once still army has begun to lose as she looked like she was not a match for this beast ahead of her,
She moved forward again, rage boiling around her body, this time going for its eyes.
She managed to avoid all the incoming poison attacks she went and dove for it eyes but just as she as assumed the eyes where even harder than it's scales.
She had expected this to occur as she used that opportunity to step on the snake's head and giving the loud deafening growl facing the head she was on,
The force powerful reaping her mouth even harder getting the torn part really close to her neck, she shot upwards sending the wild beast smashing into the ground she smiled
She reached towards the ceiling of the mountain hole given a tough punch to the loose ends,

Nyx
It was raining large rocks the soldiers stood still watching the battle with no care for their lives
Zaya grabbed the largest rock heading for the head of the snake that she just took out; she hoped it was the main head.
With a hit the snake was sent into immense pains the three headed snake hit the ground in a loud thud signifying its death,
it body began to dissipate into shrouds if light,
Zaya began dodging the falling rocks,
as she stared at the tail that was stuck to the ground,it didn't vanish along with the other body parts, zaya went closer to it.
She could see that the tail of the snake was stuck to the hole in the larva,
It looked like a spear,it was burning immensely.
She removed it from the larva raising it up like she had just conquered an empire, immediately all the dying warriors stood in attention hitting their weapons on the ground with their other hand on their chest simultaneously and bowed.
Zaya stared at them they were being bombarded by rocks yet they didn't move,
Zaya then screamed "leave!" return to your homes, she was not really certain on where their homes were or even if they had homes.
But seeing them being crushed by the rocks was not a great sight,the soldiers disbanded their formation running for their lives.
She ran straight ahead hoping for her to stumble upon the bridge the voice was talking about.
She focused closing her eyes trying to sniff it out,yet still she couldn't point out if anything like that existed,
Zaya then realized she's looking for a cursed magical bridge her physical senses couldn't possibly help,
Even though she might have probably had some, she didn't know how to use it,till the extent of finding a cursed bridge.
She grabbed one of the reptilian warriors standing close to her like it was waiting for an order.
"where is the cursed bridge?!" the reptilian warrior unafraid pointed at a particular direction, "Follow me" zaya yelled she was sure the reptilian warrior didn't understand her language but definitely understood her gestures.
Zaya sprinted aiming for were the reptilian warrior pointed,
her feet pacing quick at a speed that could not be visible to the naked eyes,
with the reptilian warriors running behind her they aimed for where the bridge was.
When they arrived at the location,just as zaya had thought, it was a wall she was about to give it her best blow when the reptilian warrior stopped her and raised its hands towards the wall.
Red energy engrossing its palms it then focused the power on the wall.
The illusion disappeared revealing a dark portal.
The reptilian entered the portal zaya following,as she took a step into it the portal seemed to have dragged her to a different place entirely.
They were in a big rock shaped as a dome at the center upwards zaya could see then blue sky,
She could sense the volcano had disappeared along with any other traces of the reptilian creatures.
Her gaze then fell on bridge just a few meters ahead of both of them,
it was a damp white with ropes as railings,some parts of it patched with blood.
What was below the bridge seemed like an eternal abyss.
The bridge led to a shallow path she couldn't quite sense,
it should be magic, zaya thought she was about to take a step when the reptilian stopped her with its arms she was about to give the annoying beast a powerful blow,
When it transformed,zaya was staring at a girl at most two years younger than her,the girl them spoke
"you didn't choose me I did", "what?","what's going on?" zaya said startled "how are you a human?!",the girl then said "I am nyx of the fox clan" "I foretold your coming and that you'll beat the snake queen,go now!"
"Some dangerous creatures are coming and it's my destiny to protect you from them".,
Zaya was dumbfounded,she then recalled how she butchered those other reptilians at the entrance of the cave,might they have been children she thought her body shivering.
I didn't mean to kill them zaya said a tear dropping from her deep purple eyes,
"No," Nyx said as if she had just read Zaya's mind,they weren't human beings the fox clan sent me as a disguise..nyx faced towards the bridge abruptly as she suddenly stopped talking, "good bye Anna" she said as she knelt before zaya,
"This is my destiny."
Standing she carries zaya up with both of her hands as she transformed to her fox form running, red pale fur encamped her body,
two tails evolved from the back of her waist and just as they were about to reach the entrance of the bridge.

The pink fox
A beast emerged from the ground like it's been waiting for decades,
"Amphilim!" nyx shouted as she was still running at the beast,"no!" she yelled, "we will not fall, this is my destiny!" Nyx groaned louder as she threw zaya over the beast simultaneously striking it as a distraction, the beast shrieked as nyx plunged her sword it its head,
it was a large spider as tall as a three stories building, with about twenty large black eyes and claws at the end of its eight gigantic legs,
It was nicknamed a landlegadon a primal beast famous for being able to change its form,
The landlegadon was never defeated, "come at me legadon!"
Let's make history together nyx yelled sharpening the two daggers in both of her hands together as red energy engrossed it, the dagger seemingly getting bigger as it began to turn into a sword,
Nyx went for the kill, jumping high aiming for the primal beast,The landlegadon swung one of it's legs at her she sliced it like it was butter going straight for its head she was hit by two others of its legs sending her flying back at high speed pain writhing through her body.
Zaya who was lying on the ground of the bridge stood up using the spear in her hands, she was determined to save Nyx however hard it could be,no one should die, while she watched she thought.
Her mind was totally made when she heard a shriek from farther away in the dome. It was another landlegadon larger than the former, its eyes carved with multiple lines seemingly cutting through it.
It made a louder shriek aiming for Nyx who was back on her feet.
Zaya was about to leave and help.
When the strange voice once again spoke saying "stop!" "return!"
Aim for the other end of the bridge,
Nyx from where she was, yelled at zaya "go!" "this is my sacrifice!"
she said as she was bathed by red energy her fur could no longer be seen as she was one with magic itself.
She took a stance which zaya remembered to be the one she saw Edeth take in her dreams just in the morning when she slept, Nyx suddenly vanished even zaya couldn't trace her steps as she couldn't be seen by the naked eyes.
She faces back towards the other end taking the opportunity Nyx gave to run she dashed through the bridge at ultimate speed hearing the loud pain the landlegadon shrieked, As she dived into another dark portal,
She arrived at what seemed like a golden throne room treasures laid everywhere in the midst she saw a pink fur fox, her hands stretched forward, aiming her energy towards a white statue placed at her front.
"Come to me!" the voice inside her yelled, zaya without a second thought aimed for where the pink fur fox stood,
Grab the spear's head the voice inside zaya spoke authoritatively,zaya went towards what she called the head of the sword it was some sort of empty sceptre but with different shining stones placed around it,zaya took the spear in her hands as she injected it into the sceptre head.
it glowed but something was not right,
The voice spoke again the "gem in your necklace," zaya removed her necklace in one swift pull.
freeing the gems from the clutches of the shining chains she inputted it into the empty space in the sceptre then the sceptre glowed bright releasing itself from zaya's hand,
its power connected to the statue breaking it immediately and then there was a powerful bright light illuminating the whole area.
Zaya's eyes opened, staring at the pained pink fox who was now on the ground looking lifeless. She tried to stand up but her body was numb,she could only lie on the ground.
She said to the fox "are you alright?" the pink fox spoke "take the staff," "it would measure your progress showing you when you'll get your memories back,"

The last fox
Zaya then spoke, responding, "forget about that, "you must not die," "I can sense your will diminishing," "how can I save you?" "what do you possibly need?", "anything?" "I'll give it to you right now,"
The pink fox sighed as she said "I've been channeling my power here for decades my death is inevitable,"
"No worries Anna," "we'll meet again I promise,"she said breathing her last breath,
Zaya was sad there was nothing she could do after all.
Hours passed, zaya remained on the ground unable to move, the sun was now setting, zaya saw she was losing a lot of blood,if she stayed here any much longer,she was going to die,she garnered strength, what sustained her was her fox form she could feel the magic force leaving her.
She crept towards the pink fox,drops of water falling from her eyes as she saw the fox was no longer alive.
There was a white and pink bracelet on the foxes hand zaya took it and held it as a memory of the pink fox.
She grabbed the fox's body and the sceptre and walked through the black portal. There was no trace of the landlegadon or a red fox, zaya's heart throbbed she could feel her heart beat in her ears.
She walked into the second portal.
Climbing the mountain walls coming out of the hole she broke with her feet and headed straight for the entrance of the cave.
A bit far from it,she buried the pink fox. After burying her,she said, " I really hope we meet again.
There was a bright pink light from the grave. Zaya could sense the fox's body had disappeared.
She was shocked but she couldn't show it. Her back was broken, her mouth torn,her ears about to burst.
She looked around at the bizarre sight of larva clashing with ice. It was crazy, yet amusing.
At that moment she heard some voices,some people were approaching from deep in the snow.
The storm was huge but her senses were sharp,
The FBI!
