Zoey's Mother
Zaya entered the elevator along with Zoey.
To her surprise, it had a sofa on both angles with two vases filled with red roses on the sides,and a medium tv hung on the wall.
Zoey walked up towards the button area as she tapped on a particular button,she then turned back facing Zaya as she spoke
"we are going to the top floor Zaya,"
"hold on tight,"
"But this looks really comfortable" Zaya said slightly confused,Zoey then said
"How about now?,"
"This is the best part"
She pressed some button codes on her nano wrist watch.
The speed of the elevator increased almost sending the standing Zaya almost falling on the sofas.
Soon they arrived at their destination, Zaya stepped outside and was greeted by a sweet perfume scent.
She gazed at the area, it was a restaurant filled with highly rich people,it was obvious because of their looks and characters.
Come with me Zoey said as she held Zaya's hand dragging her into the midst of the classy crowd.
They finally left the party hall and they entered the manual exit.
They began to walk deeper,
Zaya could see the light bulbs that where once formally bright were getting dimmer as the seconds passed
She began to get cringe feeling about all that was going on.
What if Zoey's mum didn't have good intentions towards her she thought.
But Zaya decided she shouldn't jump into conclusions or doubt,
she herself hadn't known too much about what's going on,like where the Ancient diamond stones of each clans were kept
and she could use this opportunity to get more information.
They entered a completely dark,narrow way.
Zoey put on a torch and walked towards a black door ahead, there was a pass code kept on the door.
Zoey typed in the pass code so fast,Zaya could never have traced it, The room unlocked, inside where filled with a bunch of people.
At the back of the room were a lot of workers typing on computers continuously,while at the front stood three majestically, as they were staring at the wide screens in front of them.
One of them a woman with red hair dressed as an assassin she held a tablet in her hand as she stared at the screen,
Another wore a black suit with a black dyed hair,
from his looks he was a middle aged man.
while the other was a woman dressed exactly like the red haired woman but with a mask on her face.
Zaya felt she recognized the masked woman from somewhere but she didn't bother about it too much, after all it might have just been a coincidence she thought.
She stared at a huge symbol on the wall beside the screens, it was a large logo "W"
Written below it was "WMCO",
Zoey who was beside Zaya then called, Mum I've brought her.
Zoey's mum wore some high heels matching her all black outfit with two katanas by her sides,she was the one with the red hair.
Zaya wondered shocked what where two swords doing in the hands of a billionaire.
Zoey's mum then turned away from the screens facing the two girls,
Zaya was now certain why she wore the heels and Kantanas in the first place,
she was Japanese,though none of that seemed to have reflected on Zoey.
"You're sure it's her?" Zoey's mum asked," "yes she is the one" Zoey confirmed,"Come closer Zaya," Zoey's mum beckoned,
Zaya walked closer, "turned the video up"Zoey's mum spoke facing the workers with computers placed at their front.
Zaya stared at the wide screen,a video appeared,her eyes set on it.
The video played,it was a large larva river,so high even if three average humans stand on top of each other they won't reach half of it's height.
There was a purple fox she could see the fox holding a helpless girl in her arms as she was swerving amongst the falling debris she saw how the purple fox got hit by a large rock that sent a searing pain all through its back.
She saw the fox twirled frantically throwing the girl upwards,
Zaya was stunned she hadn't known how far and calculated she'd threw Zoey until she saw it herself,
she saw how the weak Zoey weaves through hundreds of rocks in a very quick manner.
Then a random rock split into two spoiling the rhythm the fox foresaw, then Zaya heard a loud and mighty growl,
it was so loud it sent the speakers hissing,
she saw how thousands of great rocks backed away and exploded as what seemed like a purple comet teared through the air,
Zaya couldn't believe her eyes,she herself feared what she was then the video was paused,
Zaya was still staring at the screen her look dumbfounded.
"Zaya?"
"Are you there?"
"Uhn yes of course am here"
Zaya smiled to Zoey,Zoey smiled,
That's the exact look we had when we saw it too Zaya.
"Zaya?" Zoey's mum called,
"walk with me she said as she began walking out of the rooms towards another."
Zaya hurried towards her.
They entered a secluded area another dark door at their front she then faced Zaya and asked,
"Zaya why do you fight,is it for fame, for power, for glory,for riches?"
"Think carefully before you answer Zaya,"
Zaya had a deep sigh this was a complicated question and she won't wish to answer it wrongly,
She thought, was it because of her fox clan after those two foxes died Zaya had always wanted to avenge them.
Was it to save the world she thought,
There was no point in that after all chaos would always return.
Zaya then made her mind up facing Zoey's mum she said,
"I fight to protect my loved ones."
"My name is chinami" the red haired woman said as she smiled then walked towards a black door ahead of them.
Zaya purple eyes glowed as she got a glimpse of what the pass code was.
Chinami opened the door and gestured for Zaya to walk in,
Zaya was shocked.
The sight of a thousand ninjas graced her.
They were all moving rhythmically in fighting stances and battle arts.
They expanded as far as the eyes could see, "Welcome to our organization Zaya,"
"It's top secret," chinami said facing the trainees.
"Our main aim is to wipe out evil magic from the face of the earth in order to protect our loved ones."
"We are asking you to join us Zaya please consider this offer"
Chinami spoke as she walked towards one of the trainers
Zaya gulped,
it was a great offer but Zaya had a feeling she didn't really know or care which was bad or good she only wanted to wipe out magic from the face of the earth and at this rate almost nothing can stop her.
Zaya thought she might barely even need her help.
Zaya returned back to Zoey's room,she could see that Zoey had already gotten there,
"How did it go,not sure Zoey,"
Zaya said as she sank on her air mattress and fell into sleep.
It was around 5:30AM,
Zaya woke up,she stretched, yawning.
She looked left and right,she couldn't find the others,only their mattresses remained.
Her phone was ringing she answered it,The voice from the other end spoke,
"hello", "Zaya?"
"Heyy mum,Zaya said I actually i-i just woke up,""have you taken your medicine"
Well sort of Zaya said as she stared at her bag that was hung on the wall.
Alright,Zaya,get ready for school would you.
Yes mum,
Zaya said I'll be on my way now.
Zaya wondered whythe others wake her up,she quickly got up,dressed and took one of Zoey's bike to school.
Zaya walked through the school entrance luckily for her the receptionist was not at desk,she might have gone for a bathroom break,Zaya thought as she hurried towards the school's hallway.
Just has Zaya expected there was a short janitor in the hallway she began wondering on the best way to get past the janitor and find the others, When the janitor spoke and said "Zaya,is that you?"
"Ashara?" What are you doing in the janitor's outfit,
"long story Zaya and of course,duh,what else could be a better disguise."
Zaya reluctantly walked towards Ashara,"where are the rest?" she asked,
"Well they've started on their parts of the mission let me take you to where June is."
They walked for about ten minutes as the phantom middle school was very big,They finally got to were June was.
June stood at the front of some opened lockers she was casual in her dress while she wore a black head band and orange contact lenses.
Zaya you finally made it,
"June said as she walked closer towards them,why did you leave me behind Zaya asked slightly angry,"
"Well Zaya it wasn't our fault really, you held the staff and was talking in your sleep."
"Yes"Ashara confirmed,you seemed to be shouting at someone,you spoke repeatedly
"NO!"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"DO IT!"
"THIS IS MY SACRIFICE!"
"So Zaya,June then said,if we had woke you up the shock alone would have killed you
That's strange," Zaya said,
"I don't remember having any vision like that though."
"No worries Zaya, Ashara said we'll figure that out later we still have a lot of papers to share alright?"
"June then handed a huge pile of papers to Zaya and Ashara,so guys she said, we have less than thirty minutes to share the rest,"
"The inbuilt cctv system would override my hack by then and students will start arriving," "Alright guys start sharing these."
"Wait," "girls," "you forgot the "thumbamacropuliousis".
Zaya and Ashara split up going in different directions to cover more space.
Ashara went upwards towards the right through the elevator towards were Pauline was,
While Zaya went downwards towards the left closer to where Zoey was.
She took the elevator down she walked into the grade four and five hallway and began opening the lockers and dropping the envelopes into each and everyone of them.
Zaya began pondering what she meant by sacrifice and who was she talking to in the vision?
Who was talking?
She began asking herself this question for a long while, sharing the papers in each lockers as she unknowingly collapsed into Zoey.
Zoey wore a head set on her head listening to music,
Zoey fell,but Zaya caught the envelopes that were in her hands with her feet just in time.
"Hey!"
Zoey said standing up,
"Zaya you made it,"Zoey said,"we thought you were falling sick all over again,what happened?"
Um,
"it was those visions again they are taking over my mind."
"So Zaya you never told me what mum said,Yeah, she said something about protecting our loved ones and stopping evil magic for good, I hope she could pull it off though."
"So Zaya would you be joining their cause,No Zaya don't I think it might not be much of a good idea though mum sees it as a gift for saving me in the volcanic river."
"Zaya then said,well except she accepts my offer," "which is?" Zoey asked,"Oh I would only help when I have the time,I can't always be there remember we're still in middle school," "Zoey and also am the leader of the phantom girls,I must figure out who we really are remember."
"Yes,Zoey said as Zaya helped her stand.
The thought of someone crossed Zaya's mind, Pauline,she wondered how she was doing sharing the envelopes in the teachers locker room.
Pauline dressed as the school secretary,she had shared the envelopes to each of the teacher locker rooms in the whole school,
yet she was itching for more, she went ahead to the principal's office.
She dropped an envelope there.
She then left,she entered back and began going through the documents on the table,
not sure of what she was doing.
She could see lots of documents on the military career of the school principal.
She then heard a rattling sound in the ceiling above her.
She quickly hurried and dove under the principal's table,
Heart beating hurriedly,
through a hole in the table she could see a group of people drop down through a rope.
Pauline stood in the corner under the table unmoving.
She stared into the hole again she could see a red haired girls just about her age.
with one in the midst with a ravenous crimson eyes brighter from the rest she was the one who led the team for sure.
The cover on the crimson eyes girl's face prevented Pauline from identifying who she was.
The red haired girls began searching the whole office.
Scattering everything they could see in the room,they seemed to be searching for something really important.
Pauline wondered, so they weren't the only ones in their school wanting to get to the bottom of this after all.
Her mind was interrupted by the nano wrist watch in her hands as a voice message appeared from June.
Guys ten minutes until the cameras reload leave everything and aim for...
Pauline stopped the message,hoping the girls hadn't heard it, but she was wrong they've found her.
She could hear the whirring sound of a swords drawn out of their sheath.
Pauline was ready to fight when someone suddenly entered the office where they all were.
She thought it was the school principal but she was wrong, it was Ashara she had changed to her half breed form her stance showing she was ready to fight.
The main red haired girl,spoke out werecat we are not your enemy, before the girl finished her words.
Ashara had already attacked, giving the girl a swift strike which she dodged,Ashara then spoke and said whatever is red means dragon so you are my enemy!
Ashara sharpened her claws on each other.
The red haired girl stood positioned.
Ashara launched as she began parrying it with that of the swords strikes being sent in her direction simultaneously.
Ashara was struggling but the red haired girl barely moved,she was stunned at baffled at Ashara's ignorance, she's a child after all the girl thought as she gestured for the other five red haired girls to attack Ashara.
Ashara was stuck in their midst various swords were unsheathed wanting to tear Ashara down.
Ashara sharpened her claws was more as she began tackling their strikes she was becoming overwhelmed as there were too many swords for her to hit at the same time.
At this moment the red haired girl found a file,written on it was,"-THE VIPER VIKING,"
Pauline got a good look on the file from the table's hole,
it looked like what you'll call a criminal's file,
She tried to see the picture but the red haired girl had already turned around towards where Ashara stood.
Ashara then activated her primordial energy form, her body beaming with white energy she smiled as she became stronger and faster.
"Impressive" the main red haired girl said as she spoke some words that sounded spell like in nature,and within seconds both she and her remaining companions disappeared through the ceiling were they came from.
Ashara followed, her body still beaming with intense energy.
it was at this moment Pauline stood up the coast was clear.
She could not move earlier,she was disappointed in herself as she couldn't help Ashara at all she walked towards the door,
she didn't have much time left.
Her hand about to open the door,the door knob moved by itself,someone had moved it from from the other side.
The door opened Pauline was devastated to see the school's principal.
