Gojo's movement speed was so fast that no one could properly react to what had just happened—how nearly forty to fifty members of Baroque Works had died in a single instant. To them, it was as if death had blinked, and bodies had simply fallen.
Gojo did not care about their shock.
He calmly coated his sword with Blue. The air around the blade distorted faintly, space bending inward as he activated his ability—Limitless: Azure Event Horizon.
He swung.
A massive flying sword slash, wrapped in swirling Blue energy, tore forward through the street. The ground cracked beneath its path, debris lifting into the air. The remaining Millions, who saw the attack rushing toward them, instinctively prepared to face it head-on.
But then—
Their expressions twisted in horror.
They were being pulled toward it.
The Blue did not merely empower the slash—it attracted everything around it. An overwhelming gravitational pull dragged the members of Baroque Works forward against their will. Their boots scraped violently against stone as they were sucked in.
Some tried to dig their weapons into the ground. Others screamed.
It was useless.
The Azure Event Horizon devoured them.
The front line of Millions was dragged directly into the incoming slash. Their bodies were cleaved apart without resistance. Blood and shattered stone spiraled into the vortex of compressed space.
And it wasn't just the men.
Nearby houses began cracking, walls collapsing as wooden beams, roof tiles, and broken fragments of buildings were ripped from their foundations and swallowed into the expanding pull of Blue.
Dust clouds exploded outward.
The sword slash tore through the street, swallowing everything in its path. Nearly eighty more members of Baroque Works were caught in it. Not all of them died instantly like the first group—many were flung aside, bones broken, bodies mangled, groaning in agony. They would live, perhaps.
Gojo did not bother finishing them.
He didn't have time to kill every single Million. He wasn't some bloodthirsty maniac. Nor did he have any strange system that required kills to grow stronger. There were only two people here worth his attention.
They were still rats.
Just slightly bigger rats.
And one of those bigger rats moved immediately.
Mr. 4 stepped forward, his expression dull yet resolute. With mechanical precision, he swung his 4 Ton baseball bat and struck an explosive baseball launched from his gun-dog companion.
The baseball shot toward Gojo like a cannonball.
It hit.
A violent explosion erupted, flames bursting outward as smoke engulfed Gojo's figure completely. The shockwave shattered nearby windows.
Mr. 4 lowered his bat slightly.
He believed the hit had landed cleanly.
He waited for a burned, damaged Gojo to emerge from the smoke—
—but something entirely unexpected happened.
The black smoke was torn apart from within.
Gojo stepped through it unharmed, sunglasses still perfectly in place.
He appeared directly in front of Mr. 4.
Mr. 4 barely had time to lift his bat in defense before Gojo's sword clashed against it. Sparks exploded between bat and sword. The collision lasted less than a second.
Then—
Mr. 4 was sent flying backward.
His massive body smashed through multiple buildings in succession, walls collapsing as he tore through them before finally crashing into the ground, carving a trench through stone.
Immediately, his gun—transformed into a dog—opened its mouth and fired another explosive baseball toward Gojo.
Gojo's blade flashed.
He sliced the projectile cleanly in half.
The two halves separated mid-air and flew past him on either side.
Boom.
Boom.
Twin explosions erupted behind him, sending dust and debris skyward.
Without turning around, Gojo swung upward in a vertical arc. His sword cleaved through a large portion of the gun-dog's body. Metal split apart as the creature rolled backward across the shattered street.
Gojo shifted his gaze back to Mr. 4.
Mr. 4 was just beginning to stand, rubble sliding off his shoulders.
In the next instant—
Gojo appeared beside him.
Mr. 4 had barely regained his footing when Gojo's sword descended in a lethal arc.
Mr. 4 knew he would be severely injured if that strike connected.
But he wasn't worried.
They had a plan.
The ground behind Gojo suddenly burst open.
Miss Merry Christmas erupted from below in her mole form, claws extended and gleaming under the sunlight. As a Devil Fruit user capable of transforming into a mole, she moved through the earth with terrifying speed.
With a shrill cry, she slashed at Gojo from behind, her claws aiming for his back.
Gojo knew everything that had transpired between Mr. Four and Miss Merry Christmas.
When he had been dealing with the gun-dog, Miss Merry Christmas had surfaced from beneath the ground near where Mr. Four had fallen. In that brief moment, the two had exchanged a plan—if Mr. Four was attacked directly, he would stall Gojo as much as possible. And if Gojo overwhelmed him, she would attack from below, burrowing through the earth and striking his back at the perfect moment.
Gojo hadn't heard their conversation.
But he didn't need to.
With Observation Haki, he had sensed their meeting. And even now, he was fully aware that Miss Merry Christmas was behind him, claws extended, aiming for his back.
He simply didn't care.
There was no Haki coating her claws. No armament. No reinforcement.
As long as she wasn't a Haki user, she posed zero threat to him.
Her attack was worthless.
After all, Limitless was the greatest defence in the world.
Gojo's sword continued its downward arc without the slightest hesitation and struck Mr. Four directly in the stomach.
The blade pierced deep.
Blood burst from the wound as Mr. Four's massive body convulsed, his breath escaping in a heavy, broken gasp.
At the same time, Miss Merry Christmas's claws reached Gojo's back—
—and stopped.
Just inches away.
They could not move forward. It was as if she had struck an invisible wall. Her claws trembled against the unseen barrier, unable to pierce, unable to advance even a fraction.
Her eyes widened in disbelief.
That moment of shock cost her everything.
Before she could retreat underground, before she could even process what had happened, Gojo turned with terrifying calmness.
His sword thrust forward.
The blade pierced straight through her chest.
A strangled cry escaped her lips.
To pull the sword free, Gojo delivered a sharp kick to her torso, sending her flying backward across the ruined street. She crashed into broken debris, her body rolling before coming to a stop.
Silence gradually returned to the battlefield.
Gojo sheathed his sword behind his back and began walking forward.
Around him lay the severely injured and the dead—Millions and Billions scattered across the shattered street. Blood pooled between cracked stones. Dust lingered in the air.
Yet as Gojo stepped forward, his boots never touched the blood.
His legs were still protected by Limitless. The crimson liquid stopped short of him, as if even it refused to stain him.
He walked through destruction untouched.
Clean.
As though he had not moved a finger—let alone killed dozens of Baroque Works members and crippled nearly all the rest.
He stopped in front of Vivi.
"My bag."
Vivi handed it over silently.
She knew Gojo was ruthless in battle. She had seen it before. But watching him now—after killing so many without even blinking, without a single visible strain on his body—it was different.
There was no heavy breathing.
No flicker of hesitation.
Not even a wrinkle in his clothes.
It showed something beyond strength.
It showed cold resolve.
Gojo slung the bag over his shoulder.
"Now that you've offered me money to follow your route," he said casually, "go ahead and start guiding."
Vivi steadied herself before speaking.
"We'll ride back on your ship," she said. "From there, we'll sail to Erumalu Town. And from Erumalu, we'll travel on foot to reach Yuba Town. There is someone I would like to meet there."
Gojo gave a short nod.
"Yeah, whatever. Let's go."
Vivi moved ahead.
Gojo followed behind her without another word.
Soon they reached the ship. The sails were raised, ropes tightened, and within moments, the vessel cut across the waters, heading toward Erumalu Town.
