"The weak will be eliminated. Only the strong can survive. Give up!"
The man standing before them was Mars — the Diamond Kingdom's secret weapon.
A warrior who had been implanted with magic stones since childhood, forged through pain and experiments, and molded into a living weapon.
His cold, emotionless eyes looked down at Yuno as if he were nothing more than an insect.
"I won't give up!"
Despite his body being covered in wounds, Yuno stood tall, defiant as ever.
Just like Asta refuses to surrender, as his rival, I won't either.
Those were the thoughts burning in Yuno's heart as he continued to hurl wind blades at Mars — even though such attacks barely scratched the magical warrior.
"Give up."
"I said, I won't give up!"
The massive diamond sword swung down toward Yuno with terrifying speed—
"Yuno is my rival!"
Asta burst forward, his Demon Slayer Sword cleaving through the Diamond Sword with a single strike.
"Mimosa, I'll protect you!"
Noelle rushed to Mimosa's side, surrounding her in a dome of shimmering water dragon.
"So weak," Mars muttered, forming clones from diamond.
"Stop flirting and get serious already!" Luck grinned, kicking one of the diamond soldiers to pieces.
Adam twitched. "Ugh, that line was way too cheesy."
"Electric Eyes!"
Twin beams of lightning burst from Adam's eyes, but Mars instantly erected a diamond wall, blocking the attack.
"On the battlefield, the weak have no worth," Mars said coldly. "I exist to destroy people like you."
"So damn pretentious," Adam growled. "Why is every villain in this world so damn talkative?"
If only the Dragon's power were with him now…
"Adam, he's my prey!"
Asta rushed forward, slicing through Mars's diamond wall in one stroke, sending shards flying. His anger flared — Mars had hurt Yuno, and that was unforgivable.
"I wish someone would go berserk over me like that," Adam muttered mischievously.
"Electric Eyes, clear the path!"
Adam's lasers burned open a route for Asta. Mars conjured diamond spikes and hurled them down, but Asta darted upward along broken platforms, dodging each strike.
"It's not over yet!"
Within seconds, Asta's sword collided with Mars's body, knocking him into the water below.
"So strong…"
Everyone was stunned — the synchronization between Adam and Asta was perfect.
"You're just a commoner… how can you—?"
Klaus's voice trembled as he watched the battle, his arrogance cracking.
"Is that all you've got?"
Mars's icy blue grimoire opened again. Water around him hardened into countless diamond spikes, swirling like a storm.
He struck — and trapped Asta inside a cocoon of diamond.
"Asta!"
Adam and Yuno shouted in unison. Their eyes met for a second.
Heh. How interesting, Adam thought. The noble frog prince, worried about the loudmouthed peasant boy.
What a sight.
Boom!
Mars burst out of the water again, forming a towering Diamond Giant that slammed Asta into the ground.
"Who are you?" Mars demanded.
"I'm someone with no magic… but I'll become the Wizard King!" Asta roared. "That's what I live for!"
"So damn cool," Adam said, grinning like a madman. "That obsession— I love it!"
Asta, you mad lad, I respect you!
"You're just a pebble," Mars spat.
"Even a small stone can shatter a diamond!" Asta yelled back.
The giant swung its arm — Asta charged straight through it, cleaving it apart and knocking Mars unconscious in one strike.
"Is that it?"
Adam frowned. Something didn't feel right.
Two children of destiny, absurd luck radiating everywhere… there's no way it ends that easily.
"Hey, Four-Eyes, is that binding spell of yours reliable?"
Asta passed a healing herb to Klaus.
"You idiot!" Klaus snapped. "This is a sealing spell — he won't escape!"
"Alright, let's go find the treasure room!" Luck shouted gleefully.
"Adam, aren't you coming?" Asta called back.
"You guys go first," Adam said, waving him off with a grin that hinted at mischief. "I'll catch up soon."
He could already feel it — that itch of excitement, that thrill when a prediction's about to come true.
If this bastard wakes up… I'm gonna kick him right in the face.
He chuckled to himself, shaking with barely contained laughter.
"Leave him," Noelle whispered. "He's in one of his weird moods again."
The others hurried to the treasure vault, cutting their way through with Asta's sword.
"Those mountains of gold aren't as attractive as it," Adam muttered to himself, smirking.
He didn't care about treasure. His reward was already secured — the Double Circle of the Pig and Chicken was now complete.
The intricate symbols within glowed faintly with power.
"Mars, protect everyone!"
The warrior's eyes snapped open — fire magic flared violently from his body, melting the restraints instantly.
"I knew it!" Adam laughed. "I freaking guessed it!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Body control activated — his eyes flared, and lasers targeted Mars's lower body.
"Ahhh!" Mars screamed.
"Yo! That's tougher than expected!" Adam shouted gleefully. The thrill of being right was almost euphoric.
"Diamond Giant!"
"Yeah? Drill your ass!" Adam countered, lunging forward. He wanted to rip that glowing gem right off Mars's forehead — it looked expensive.
BOOM!
The entire Demon Palace began to collapse.
"Damn it, what did Asta or Yuno do this time?!"
A wave of black smoke swept toward him. Adam dodged instinctively — that lingering aura… Lotus!
"Don't worry about me! Go ahead!" Adam yelled.
Yuno, now with the wind spirit Sylph by his side, and Asta, wielding his new Demon-Dweller Sword, were already tearing through the collapsing structure.
"Adam, where are you going?!" Noelle called.
"Chasing that crippled bastard!"
Using wind magic, Yuno helped everyone escape the falling ruins.
The mission ended in chaos, but the results spoke for themselves — Yuno and Asta had grown stronger, and even Klaus's pride had softened.
Everyone was happy.
Everyone… except Adam.
"Don't run, damn it!"
Lotus dragged his mangled body, trying to flee with Mars back to the Diamond Kingdom.
Adam chased after them, lightning flaring in his eyes.
"Damn it! If only I had the Rabbit's power right now!"
