Chapter 9 - Wondering Midgard

Eir stated to wonder around the earth. As her mode of transportation being her own body, she couldn't get this done anytime soon. It would take at least few years.

But Eir was ok with that. As she didn't have anything better to do, she started to wonder around from place to place, country to country.

In between her journey, she started using musical instruments to make her travel more interesting and fun. Sometime she used a flute, sometimes something akin to a guitar, and sometimes a violin.

She would join any random caravan if she could find one and entertain them with her music and singing of different cultures.

Many time it land her in trouble too as many people were enchanted with the music and hell bent on making her their wife. Some even tried to force her into it. But they were all trivial matters as nothing she couldn't handle with a bit of illusion to make them piss themselves and run away.

But it was also fun in a way as it always kept her entertained. She also picked up cooking skill from all over the places even though she didn't needed that really but she enjoyed stimulating her taste buds with different kinds of food and stuff her belly with food.

Food was the pleasure that she really begins to enjoy too as she always had different spices and cooking ingredients in her spacial dimension. She had to admit that other that cooking tools and her music instruments, she didn't find any use for her pocket dimensions, which was quite surprising as these things were really mundane in nature.

She didn't even need to use a weapen which was a let down as she was always fascinated with learning fighting with swords and cool moves. Well, it couldn't be helped as people only saw her in two forms, one being a harmless women and other being bone chilling abomination with her illusions.

As for sex, she stayed away from it. As a beautiful woman and a goddess on top of that, she had a sence of purity and superiority so to maintain them, she never walked that road and didn't plan to anytime either.

In her journey on Midgard she found wonderful things but nothing that would make her feeling lacking. She even get her hands on the Ten rings, few Cursed weapens and similar accessories but their power didn't intrigued her. As a veteran sorcerer and goddess she could create better item if she needed.

As for traveling, she first thought of traveling on the foot tiresome but after using different type of transportation, she discovered that she liked travelling on foot with slowly and personality witnessing the wonders of nature. This was also the reason why she didn't used Astral projection to just send her soul at thought's speed to search around from place to place.

She would go to an area and cast her energy detection spell and look for big chunks of energy signels. Then move to different area. Even though her spell range was enormous, it still took her 5 years to finally detect Tesseract in a remote village around the Northern hemisphere. It was in a church that actually worshiped her father, Odin.

As the Doughter of that same God, Eir felt no shame as she sneak inside the church, 'retrieved' the Tesseract and shamelessly put a glowing cube similar to it in it's place. She even ate food at the church the next day and after praying to Her father with few locals, she even received the blessings from Odin with many soon to be devoted for life belivers. As for the blessings, it was from odin or just her illusions, that hase to be kept a secret from those people.

After getting her hands on Terreract, Eir didn't have any use for the teleportation spell from her sorcery as the tesseract could create the portals to any place with more efficiency and stability without any kind of mistic threats. But that didn't mean that it was omnipotent as the user have to think of place clearly in their mind which was not easy with unvisited places.

The teleportation spell used the energy from other dimensions to support and supply the spell which could be cut or interfere with or blocked completely but this was not possible with using space stone as it had it own energy supply and could not be interfered with. So this was an upgrade.

But it wasn't completely safe either as if the user didn't thought of their destination properly it will teleport them randomly anywhere in universe.

After getting her hands on the Terreract and storing it in her pocket dimension, Eir continued her search. As she was done with most of the land part, she directed her search towards the Ocean area. As pacific ocean was the deepest, she started her search from there and sure enough, she found what she was looking for.

She neutralized the ever shifting Aether and extracted the Reality stone from it and stored it away.

Now that her buisness was momentarily finished on earth, she planned to move out now. She teleported to the newly established Kamar-taj and bid farewell to the Ancient one and finally teleported to Asgard, her home, without the need to shouting at the sky. Her journey of experience gathering which lasted hundred and six years finally had a break. Even if only a small one.
