Eir was really excited to visit the place called nidavellir. Who wouldn't. It was a place known to forge the most powerful weapons of the universe.
The mjolnir, Thor's hammer was said to be forged here. Also the Gungnir, odin's spear was also created here.
And who can forget the Stormbreaker, which faced the attack of Infinity gauntlet and didn't even slow down.
Now that kinda weapen Eir was hoping to get. She couldn't settle for less as she already possess Three infinity stones so it was expected of her to have the best of the best weapon.
When she finally reached the cosmic forge, she was really awed by the site. As this was the time long before Thanos's visit, this place was at it's full glory.
The dying star, shined brightly and was illuminating the whole space around it with beautiful different colours.
Nidavellir was a small planet, small enough that it wouldn't even pass for a moon. Now that the star was dying, the dwarves took the chance to come close and use it's remaining heat and energy to melt and forge weapons from heightest tier metals that were otherwise impossible to melt.
As Eir ship came close, few guard dwarves who were carrying some rocket launcher looking weapon surrounded the Starblade which fell from the sky as a sword into the ground. Without hesitation Eir got out of the ship and introduced herself as Odin's doughter.
Nedavellir had close relationship with Asgard so she was quite welcomed there but they were wondering why she didn't use bifrost to come.
Soon she was led to the king which was actually Eitri, the last dwarve left in infinity war, who made Thor his axe, Stormbreaker.
Eitri who was inside his forge greeted Eir in a respected manner. He was working on some weapon just now, it seemed.
When they move to a proper place to conduct business, Eitri finally asked "So what do All-father want to forge this time, as I remember that hammer last time was really a tough cooky to creak with the storm contained inside."
Eir smile at that and said "It isn't a request from my father rather I'm here without his knowledge as I want something that is quite troublesome to craft and it would attract too much attention if word gets out."
Eitri now curious couldn't help but ask her to go on and explain.
"I want a weapon preferably a sword that could harness the power of all six infinity stones."
When Eitri heard this, he couldn't help but take this lightly. In his past he met many ambitious ones who also wished to use the powers of infinity stones but most couldn't even find one let alone all six. They were hoping that if they could get there hands on a powerful weapon then their journey to get the stones will finally bore fruits.
So he said casually "Sure. I'll craft you the best weapon out there. Just first find me an infinity stone so I could study it and make the weapon accordingly."
Eir in high spirits after hearing this said "That wouldn't be a problem, Sir Eitri. For I, currently possess three of them." And with just a gesture she produced the three infinity stones from her storage.
They were being suppressed with some spell to control their chaotic behaviour. But it couldn't be mistaken by someone as skilled as Eitri and he have to believe what he was seeing.
The person in front of him actually possessed three infinity stones. THREE. Never in history, he ever heard of someone having more than a single one but to have Three, didn't that mean that the person in front of him was the most powerful person in the Universe?
Eitri couldn't get out of his shock anytime soon. But when he got out it, he was filled with excitement as this was any craftsman's dream to craft a weapon of this calibre. He was also wary as his creation could be used to cause massive damage but that didn't stop him as it was basically the nature of weapons to destroy. How much, it totally depended on person using it. It was his duty to craft weapons as a weaponsmith and that's what he planned to do now. It didn't matter if the whole universe got blown because of it as his desire to be a part of something this grand got the best of him.
So Eir now was living in Nidavellir currently. It would take time for Eitri and his team to study the infinity stones and design a weapon capable of using them.
