When Eir departed from Asgard, she took nothing with herself. She didn't needed anything for her journey as she didn't needed food or water to survive. As the goddess of life she could survive purely on her own energy for thousands of years. And with her modification to her body she didn't have to worry about hunger or thrust. And with few simple enchantments, she wouldn't have to worry about getting herself or her clothes dirty.
Her experience as a shut-in finally have some real use. But she reminded herself that she shouldn't use her power exceceevly. As she still wanted to live and feel like a normal human or normal god, in her case. With using her abilities, she was feeling more like a leech then a god.
But she would manage. Now then, as she got teleported to a remote forest by bifrost somewhere on earth in around 600 AD.
Her main goal was to learn sorcery. And she could also get her hands of some infinity stones here. As she remembers, Earth right now should have three infinity stones. She have to admit that for a puny planet from a universal scale, earth sure was gathering point of many big scale things.
Like how is a planet left alone if it had three infinite stones out of six.
But don't worry, for it isn't left alone now, and there won't be any infinity stones left here, so earth could live in peace. Isn't that what people desire. Peace. She was giving them a chance to find peace by stealing those stones for herself.
Well, Eir was a goddess so you can't blame her for performing her godly duty.
Now then she should first go look for Kamar-taj if that even exist right now. But she believes as someone named Ancient One should exist a thousand year ego. So she planned to travel to Himalayas.
As she was in ancient India right now. She had to traveled on foot. "Maybe I should have brought a airship with me." Thought Eir.
The journey was hard as she had to pass various mountains. As she was going on foot, it took a while but it was still faster to your average mount or car as she was literally a superhuman with nearly unlimited energy and no need to rest. Finally she reached himalaya region.
She cast a spell on herself so that she would look 'Nothing special' to people. Or else, with her appearance, she would gather a lot of attention to herself. Not that she couldn't handle it, but why invite trouble even if you can solve it.
She asked around for Kamar Taj but she didn't get any lead. With no other choice left, she started to perform some nasty rituals to currupt the energy around the area on a large scale. It wasn't that large to not be fixed but large enough to gather attantion from the people who were sorcerer and could preceve what is happening.
Soon her efforts bore fruit, atleast to her. As for the Sorcerer dispatched to investigate the matter, the fruit didn't look tasty at all.
When Eir saw the man with somewhat devloped spiritual aura, she knew that this guy was a sorcerer. Now what should she do? Should she follow him to their settlement secretary or should she reveal herself. She had to decide before the guy fix the mess and leaves.
The man meanwhile was sweating profusely seeing this kind of damage to surrounding energy. He guessed that it would take the combined efforts of around dozen sorcerers to fix this mess. Or the Ancient one herself had to come over.
Eir thought that honestly is the best policy and revealed herself to the sorcerer. When the sorcerer saw her, he didn't think of her as 'Anything special'. But when she revealed that she was the one to couse this mess and she want to meet with Ancient One, the man had mixed feelings.
What should he do, if someone could couse this big mess, they naturally would be evil and powerful. But at the same time, the person themself was happily presenting them and asking for a meeting with the Ancient One as if they hadn't done something like bombing an area, spiritually.
The man was unsure of what to do. He couldn't attack Eir as she was obviously stronger then him. But how could he show an 'enemy' the way to their settlement.
So he did the only thing that he could think of. He gathered all his currage and summoned his shields and said "you won't get away with this, demon, the Ancient One with avenge me and destroy whatever schemes you're plotting here."
Eir first didn't understand what the man was saying. But then she got the idea that maybe she had gone overboard. So with few gestures she retrieved the corrupt energy and with her ability, purified it and fix everything back to normal.
Then she explained herself to the man. The man when finally understood that she didn't mean any harm, breath a sigh of relief and agreed to lead her to their settlement.
He didn't show it outside but he was feeling relieved that he didn't have to die today. He was really ready to die back then .
When Eir finnally reached the 'settlement', she finally understand that why no one knows of Kamar-taj. As kKamar taj didn't exist currently.
Basically the settlement was a big tree with a raised circular platform of stones for sitting. On the high platform set the Ancient One and around twenty people were sitting on the grass floor and getting lactured.
When they Neared Anciant One dismissed the class and said to Eir "I welcomes the Goddess of Life to my humble abode. What do the Doughter of Odin seek on Midgard?"
Eir already expecting this said in a casual manner "You already know what I seek, O Ancient One. Even with knowing that I was looking for you, you sure took your time showing yourself."
The Ancient one ignoring her complain shifted the matter. She said "lf you wish to learn the sorcery of soul, you'll have to give up your identity, your ego, it is basically embracing death to born anew. Tell me, are you ready for this."
Eir who wasn't prepared for this different kind of teaching method, casually said "Let's give it a try, atleast."
And thus Eir's journey as a soul sorcerer begin.
