The maid named Jealiane looks confused at my action she tilted her head "Lady? Are you perhaps not feeling well?" She asked looking concerned at my behavior.
I look at her and shooked my head "No! Not at all." She nodded placing the plate down the table, I look at the Victorian table drinking on the detailed sight.
"A steak prepared by your favorite chef, my lady." I nodded sitting down to my seat, she placed down a bowl and as she opened it, it was a chicken soup *wow, what an appetite does Elleonora have?*. As i look down and grabbed the knife and fork slicing the meat and taking a forkful bite of the steak.
I savored the umami tasted of the steak, "hmm!" I looked at Jealiane with an approving look of my face. It really does taste good!!!
It took me atleast 20 minutes to finished the whole meal, and I was very full the breakfast was awesome. After that Jealiane helped me get dress to my casual attire.
"You look blooming today, my lady" I smiled though the appearance wasn't mine. Jealiane lead me to the vanity table, brushing my hair with gentleness with her action. I feel relaxed as he continue to brush my hair, though Elleonora's hair seemed wavy or curly?
But looking at Elleonora's reflection through the mirror is really mesmerizing, never thought I entered a game? But worst is that my fate is sealed.
"You're done now, my lady!" I nodded standing up and excused myself, I opened my chambers door and stepped out, the hallway was spacious compare to my mansion the hallway wasn't that spacious. It was more mid than spacious.
As I walk down the hallway I bumped to someone unknown, I looked up and he looks familliar some like... I saw him in the game's plot before, but in the other hand his just familiar.
"Be careful, sister." His eyes narrowed at me, looking obviously annoyed that I bumped at him. *jerk?* I look at him looking apologetic but still annoyed by his glare.
"Sorry" a message pop up and it was an introduction. Kianne Vacuel Elleonora's big brother the heir to the throne of being the Marquis. He was known to be a cold person ignoring every single women who their heart stolen by Kianne.
He has this sharp feature and cold demeanour, probably that's the part of his charm but not gonna be lie he does looks very intimidating.
"I'll be extra careful next time, brother" I smiled sweetly almost expecting him to let this slide, "father called you to his office." I swallowed my saliva.
Because this scene is exactly the same as when it started Elleonora's problems, starting by the arrangements. I nodded looking as nervous as ever BECAUSE I don't want to be engaged by the ruthless Duke ever.
My steps have purpose and it was heavy seems like I don't want to go and I've been forced. Ofc I was!! I knocked to my father's quarter, "come in" he responded quickly. I opened the door and stepped in.
"Father? I heard you called me." He nodded gesturing me to sit down in front of him. I obeyed him and sat down looking directly in his eyes, "so... Where should I start this?" He scratched his forehead.
"The northern Duke, ask for your hand." That's right he did, he asked for my hand to my father. And of course father will say yes because father owed the Duke for his mercy, because the Duke helped father to won the battle to the Count.
Father seemed grateful for his action and promised him that he will grant anything he wished for, and he asked for my hand, father seems hesitant yet agreed.
"Father? That's too much how can the Duke itself asked for my hand, when I can be the one to beg for him to marry me?" My expression almost looks desperate for father to be reconsidered the answer as a "no" to the Duke.
But fathered pulled a document and point a line where I should sign "what is that father?" I asked looking nervous. "Engagement paper, sign it" he respond with authority not a request.
I had no choose but to grab the pen and signed the paper, I sigh supressing other emotions that might get me in trouble, it's better to obey then to cause more drama.
"Youre being competent to your father, and I expect you to do that to your fiance as well." He nodded gesturing me to leave since there's no more.
As I walked out a message pop out "congratulations! You earned 20,000 gold coins and +20% to your population! You maid the right choice. You unlocked a new device would you like to check it out?" It was a map, I unlocked the celestial map. Which can be a lot helpful when there's a necessary events.
I can buy luxurious stuffs when I complete quests that I can't see, nevertheless I can complete some if there's upcoming events. But I remembered that one of the quests was to satisfied father's expectation.
At least i didn't have any failures and any troubles that may cause me stress. It would be unnecessary if I caused troubles it's better to be an obedient daughter then to a troublesome daughter.
It'll be a lot easier to finish the game and went back to my world. and I am determined to be back to my normal world, this strategic world would be stressful and will made me depressed. For sure.
None other than that but to finish the game, I guess there's a way to get back to the world it would be bless if there's a way. But if not then this is my fate but to accept Elleonora's fate, if I can change the game's plot which I can't.
It'll be more efficient and easier for me to have a normal life in case I'd be stuck here for a life time.
