Chapter 44: Meng Yao's Calculations
The wind howled.
On the *Marauder*, Dio Brooke hurriedly ran towards the captain's cabin.
"Fu Ming, Tina!"
The black-robed man with a sword on his back lightly tapped his left index finger on his temple. "No matter."
He opened his eyes. "I am well aware of Tina's enhancement path. She has about ten thousand reward points, and the three vacant B-rank side quests haven't been reported."
Dio Brooke scratched his head. "You mean, she redeemed the Resurrection Cross?"
Fu Ming's face held a smile. "Hmm, from my understanding of her personality, after something like this happened, she would prioritize safety. Her soul has surely returned to the plaza to await our return."
"What a pity!" Dio Brooke rubbed his brow. "Her 'Hogwarts Glory Bracelet' is equipment we spent a long time and a lot of money to buy in the Resident Evil world, capable of restoring internal energy, magic power, Chakra, and many other energies."
"She was killed, so this high-grade equipment must have fallen into the hands of Team China."
Fu Ming drew out his unassuming black ancient longsword. "All that is lost can be recovered. The light in my palm shall illuminate the lost objects and return them to their former master's side."

"They want to avoid a full-scale battle."
"The one who could force Tina to this extent must be the captain of Team China."
Fu Ming closed his eyes, feeling the wind blowing into the spaceship.

However, Dio Brooke acted as if nothing had happened, seemingly knowing his captain wouldn't fall to his death, and silently activated his psychic scan.
In the sky, the *Marauder* was like a drone spraying pesticides.
Dio Brooke's psychic scan was fully deployed, as if he intended to thoroughly search every inch of the Engineer Planet!
They were determined to kill all members of Team China!
Even those being farmed would not escape their fate of slaughter!
In the forest, Arno and Da Qiang's close combat continued.
A camera extended from underground, capturing the scene of the two fighting.
Deep underground, Daniels and A Mo watched the shocking battle, having lost their initial ambition.
Xiaoye Hui even cowered in a corner, choosing to give up, her thoughts of strategizing completely halted.
She believed that no matter how much she calculated, she couldn't make up for the gap in combat power.
How could ordinary people participate in this kind of battle?
They'd probably be smashed to death by the flying sand and rocks from ten meters away!
In the corridor, the "tap-tap-tap" sound of high heels echoed.
Meng Rui appeared, holding a flask of black liquid.
As soon as she appeared, everyone immediately tensed up.
"Don't be afraid." Meng Rui swayed the black liquid in the flask. "This, you can choose to drink it, or not."

She then took out a spray and lightly sprayed the wound twice.
Miraculously, the transversely cut joint miraculously stopped bleeding!
Daniels swallowed a mouthful of saliva, looking at Meng Rui. "You, what exactly do you want me to do?"
"Very simple." Meng Rui pointed to the black water on the table, then pulled out four pellets. "Take these with the black water, don't worry about anything else."
Even someone with low intelligence would understand that now was not the time to ask what the consequence would be if they didn't do so.
Daniels was clearly someone who "considered the big picture." Staying alive for now was better than dying immediately.
He took the pellets, picked up the black water flask, and with an expression as if he'd eaten shit, swallowed the pellets with the black water!

Meng Rui tore off a piece of her cheek with her teeth, then carefully licked and chewed it with her tongue tip. "The Main God, to punish me, surely won't only cause such a small disturbance."

"I suspect that deep underground, there's a much larger Xenomorph nest! There might even be a Xenomorph Queen!"
"What you need to do is very simple. Utilize the 'flesh body' characteristic to approach the nest."
"Before being blown up by the bombs, or having a Xenomorph burst from your stomach, tell me precisely if this is true." Meng Rui said, pointing to the walkie-talkie hanging on her body. "If you see anything, contact me directly."
Xiaoye Hui's eyes regained their light. She asked, "What is the reason for you doing this? Can you tell me? Perhaps I can offer suggestions, such as whether the Xenomorph Queen can deal with the Devil Team."
"Of course it can't deal with them." Meng Rui looked at Xiaoye Hui as if she were an idiot. "All you need to do is tell me if this matter is true. As for anything else, it's not your concern!"
With the conversation reaching this point, Xiaoye Hui no longer dared to pester Meng Rui.
At that moment, the walkie-talkie rang.
"Xenomorphs have all hatched! What should I do next?! Can I leave now?!"
Meng Rui pressed the talk button. "You did very well, but I'm sorry, your mission is to sacrifice yourself."
