Chapter 34: The Big One's Here!
In the sky, dark clouds gathered densely, thunder rumbled, and lightning streaked through the cloud layer, creating a palpable sense of unease.
Suddenly, a spaceship pierced through this thick layer of storm clouds like a sharp sword.
The spaceship's engines let out a low roar, shattering the silence of the sky!
Its target was clear, aimed directly at a signal marker on the ground.
Several people stood beneath the signal marker.
Their figures appeared incredibly small on the vast ground. Their gazes were blank as they stared up at the spaceship, as if controlled by some force, having lost their own consciousness.
Their expressions revealed a deep unease and terror. The one in the worst state, the limping Big Mom, was already trembling too much to stand.
Yan Wei wiped the sweat from her forehead, her eyes filled with anxiety. "Get a grip! Don't mess up now!"
"Get a grip for what?! If it weren't for you, if it weren't for you!" Big Mom gnashed her teeth fiercely.
"If it wasn't for you, you son of a bitch, opening fire on me, would that monster have caught up to me?! And then that damn thing stuffed something down my throat, I don't even know what the hell it was! I thought I was getting some kind of throat swab test!"
As she spoke, Big Mom revealed the reason why she and the few other survivors were still alive.
Out of the eight-person team, four remained.
Including Big Mom and Yan Wei.
There was also a man named Zhang Jie and a woman named Yan Huixi. All four had been implanted by Xenomorphs.
As for when the creatures would burst from their chests, that was anyone's guess.
Zhang Jie trembled and said, "Let's get on the Covenant and talk. I saw in the movie before, the female lead operated on herself to remove the Xenomorph egg."
Yan Huixi swallowed hard. "Doesn't the ship have life form scanners? What if they find out we have Xenomorphs in our stomachs and don't let us on?"
Yan Wei stared intently at the slowly descending Covenant. "Then we'll fight them! Nobody gets out alive!"
If she had said this at the beginning, it might have carried some weight.
But unfortunately, the three other survivors had all witnessed how the coward Yan Wei had abandoned her teammates, even firing at them to save her own life.
Hearing such bravado now, not a single person believed her.
The Covenant finally landed on the ground. The four new reincarnators, their hearts filled with anxiety and unease, walked toward the ship.
On the ship, the black female driver from the original plot watched the four crew members approach. She blinked frantically, hoping the four could understand her silent warning.
She mustered her courage and mouthed the words, "Don't come over! There's a crazy woman on the ship! Don't come over!"

In the captain's room, Meng Rui, smoking a cigarette, watched the crew members board the ship without any intention of stopping them.
She licked a white stain from the corner of her mouth and said softly, "The upper limit for the difficulty of Xenomorphs is very low. As for these few..."
She turned her head to look at the cryo-chamber section on the control panel. "Six thousand colonists..."
"Is this the difficulty that wiped out a twenty-person Farming Team?"
"Main God..."
"Where exactly did you hide the trap?"
Compared to the worries of Meng Rui, the oldest veteran...
Over on the other side, Da Qiang, acting as if he were invincible, had nearly cleared out the entire Xenomorph hive that the synthetic David had painstakingly cultivated for many years.
