Chapter 32: Hey, Man!
In a messy laboratory, the chaotic floor was difficult to look at directly.
Equipment on the experimental table was casually discarded, papers and documents lay scattered everywhere, and the entire space was filled with the tense atmosphere remaining after a fierce battle.
The head of the synthetic human David was casually thrown on the ground, his expression frozen in his last moment of terror, as if recounting the horrifying event that had just occurred.
On the laboratory floor, four Xenomorph corpses lay haphazardly, their bodies covered with fist marks.
These powerful alien creatures, once the source of fear for countless people, were now discarded here like trash. Their blood and bodily fluids corroded the ground, emitting a pungent odor.
The person who caused all this stood in the center of the laboratory, his figure appearing exceptionally solitary in the dim light.
His body was covered in Xenomorph blood, but he seemed not to care.
He lowered his head, engrossed in studying the Reincarnation Watch on his wrist.
His eyes were filled with curiosity and doubt.
"Er Niu is dead?!"
"He enhanced the Werewolf bloodline, spent so many points, and he's dead?!"
Er Niu's sudden death left Da Qiang feeling somewhat bewildered.
Da Qiang was capable of dealing with five Xenomorphs or fewer simultaneously.
Only when facing ten or more, or creatures of the level of a Xenomorph Queen, would he fall into danger.
Er Niu's physical body was not as monstrous as Da Qiang's.
But under the effect of the Werewolf bloodline, even if Er Niu was surrounded by five Xenomorphs, he could rely on his powerful vitality to escape.
"Could it be that he encountered a Xenomorph Queen?"
"That idiot, didn't he flee?! What a fool!" Da Qiang's anger reached its peak, his emotions erupting like a volcano as he punched the wall.
"Bang!" With a deafening crash, Da Qiang's fist actually punched through the solid wall, sending gravel and dust flying!
The Breeding Squad requires a teammate to undergo at least three horror movie reincarnation cycles.
For someone like Er Niu, whose background was well-known, he was an extremely precious asset to Da Qiang.
"He actually died just like that?!"
"What a waste! I shouldn't have kept him!"
"If the reward points he used had been given to me, my Younger Toguro's Enhancement..."
Er Niu's death brought sorrow to some and joy to others.
In the captain's cabin of the Covenant, Meng Rui raised her hand and saw the news of Er Niu's death. She was so delighted that she directly gave the white-haired old man next to Hei Mei a kiss on the cheek!
The old man was stunned.
Just a moment ago she was like a demoness, how had she now become so shy and bashful?
Meng Rui seemed to have activated something; she whispered a few words into the white-haired old man's ear, then instructed Hei Mei, "Your mission is to rescue Denise, do you understand?"
Hei Mei glanced at Captain Ola, who was barely clinging to life in a medical pod. She swallowed, "Un-understand..."
After giving all her instructions, Meng Rui pulled the white-haired old man and headed straight for the distant ship's cabin.
---
"When you go back today, you must all remind your fathers!"
"Recently, this kind of scam, luring lonely elderly people into marriage to get green cards, is especially prevalent in the neighboring state. You must be extremely vigilant!"
"Did everyone hear that?!"
The white volunteer madam in the community was earnestly repeating her advice, while a group of middle-aged people playing on their phones on the grass nodded indifferently.
Stephen Fang, wearing a mask and sunglasses, was distributing pamphlets one by one, still muttering to himself.
"Sometimes I think, if only I were a woman. It's so much more convenient for them to obtain identities; why do I have to hide around like this?"
After finishing distributing the pamphlets, Stephen Fang walked towards the white volunteer madam.
After extending his hand and receiving thirty dollars, Stephen Ren Arakawa nodded in thanks, "God bless you!"
Having earned thirty dollars for his hard work, Stephen Fang rushed non-stop towards the other side of the street.
After giving three dollars to a black person in ragged clothes as a queueing fee, he joined the line.
After about ten minutes, he arrived in front of a few food trucks.
"God bless you!"
"God bless you!"
"God bless you!"
He spoke kind words to everyone he met. The Korean volunteers distributing aid meals thoroughly enjoyed being blessed in this way, giving him significantly more food than others.
Holding a large plate of food, Stephen Fang turned into a side alley.
He smiled at the scavengers lying in the alley, "It's time for food again, brothers!"
A very thin compatriot glanced at the dishes on Stephen Fang's plate and said dismissively, "Is this all they're giving out today? Fatty always takes the lion's share! It's not even half as much as the white lord gives!"
Stephen Fang sat down and picked up a mouthful of kimchi with his chopsticks, sending it into his mouth with rice. "Do you think I want to eat this? It's just that there's nothing else today!"
"My Gold Rank Instructor definitely wouldn't eat this." The thin man said, rummaging a bottle of cola from a discarded icebox. "You must really be hungry! You've never eaten anything good!"
"Back then, brothers, on this very street, we ate as much as we could and took more!"
His face was full of swagger. "That milk, in the end, was used for baths! There was so much stuff, we simply couldn't finish it all!"
"Bloody couldn't finish it! It was all stuff that was about to expire." Stephen Fang spat out a pickled vegetable leaf. "Brothers, I can't keep this up much longer. When will this end? We're not living like humans."
"Isn't this pretty good? We have food and drink." The thin man pulled out a piece of chocolate from his pocket. "It's just that we don't have a place to live. If you can't take it, go find a dishwashing job in a restaurant kitchen."
"I'm not going! Is that something a human would do? Don't you know..."
As the two were talking, a "bang!" from the alley entrance startled them both.
"What's going on?"
Following the car's alarm, the two daring fellows poked their heads out of the alley.
As the two cautiously peeked out of the alley, they were completely stunned by the sight before them!
A truck had been smashed flat, and metal fragments and glass shards were scattered everywhere.
"What the f***! What's going on?!" The Gold Rank Instructor looked at the truck in front of him and stumbled back two steps in a daze.
And from this pile of rubble, a figure clad in red and gold intertwined armor slowly stood up.
This man's body was encased in a set of advanced iron combat armor. The surface of the combat suit gleamed with high-tech light, and although some areas were dented and scratched, it still couldn't conceal his powerful aura.
His movements appeared somewhat sluggish, clearly affected by the impact, but he still stood up firmly, his armored hand covering his head as he checked his condition.
Upon seeing this man, Stephen Fang's eyes widened!
He almost couldn't believe his eyes.
"The guy who smashed the truck to smithereens, isn't that Iron Man, whom he had seen countless times on movie screens?!"
Tony Stark shook his head, muttering to himself, "It seems I still need to continue researching the icing conditions after exceeding sixty-five thousand feet..."
After saying this, he noticed the two people staring at him: "Folks, please forget all of this."
Just as he was about to take off again, the Gold Rank Instructor immediately stopped Iron Man, "Hey! Hey! Wait a moment! Wait a moment!"
He pointed at the truck that had been smashed into a metal pancake, which had absolutely nothing to do with him, "You owe me money, man!"
