Chapter 27: Big Body, Weak Spot; Lots of Hair, Weak to Fire
"You, walk in front."
"You, walk side-by-side with me."
The three-person team had just been formed, and Er Niu had naturally become the group's spokesman.
Not only did he make Ren Arakawa the cannon fodder, but he also directly exposed his lust for Nuowa.
Nuowa frowned. "But, aren't you the powerful one? Why make him walk at the front alone?"
Er Niu really wanted to say, "Wait until this brat dies, and I'll take you to have some fun."
However, since he hadn't strayed far from the team, he could only pretend to be proper.
"The companions who died to the monster before were all sneak-attacked. I suspect this monster's habit is to launch sneak attacks!"
Nuowa nodded thoughtfully, but the doubt in her eyes hadn't completely disappeared. Moreover, she always maintained a safe distance from Er Niu; it was clear she didn't trust him.
The three of them advanced slowly through the dim passage. The beam from their flashlight swept across the damp walls, casting mottled shadows.
Their footsteps echoed in the silent cave, each sound seemingly reminding them that this place was full of the unknown and dangerous.
Soon, they arrived at a huge karst cave. Sharp stalactites hung from the ceiling, and the ground was covered with slippery moss.
The air was filled with a musty, damp smell, mixed with the scent of earth and plants.
The gloomy atmosphere of the cave made Nuowa shiver involuntarily. She subconsciously wanted to get closer to Ren Arakawa in front, seeking a bit of security.
However, Er Niu followed closely behind, his gaze constantly wandering greedily over Nuowa's body.
He suddenly suggested, "This place is too dangerous. The three of us should walk hand in hand, just in case."
Nuowa finally couldn't take it anymore. She stopped and looked directly at Er Niu. "This is a dangerous horror movie world. Why do you, a strong person in the team, repeatedly try to get your hands on me?" Her voice was filled with obvious dissatisfaction and suspicion.
Er Niu's face flushed at Nuowa's words. He was already not good with words, and at this moment, he was even less able to explain himself clearly.
A hint of cunning flashed in his eyes, and he simply stopped pretending.
He turned to Ren Arakawa, his tone laced with threat, "Brat, scram! I need to take care of some business. If you know what's good for you, crawl away on your own!"
Ren Arakawa stopped walking, his eyes cold. He knew Er Niu's intentions.
He looked at Nuowa, then at Er Niu, and slowly spoke, "This place is indeed dangerous, but we are all Reincarnators. We should be united. If you have any selfish intentions, I advise you to put them away."
"Heh heh, I'll put them away, brat." Er Niu didn't recognize at all that the person before him was actually the human puppet who had accompanied him through four horror movies. He still wanted to show off his fists.
"Scram!" Just as Er Niu was about to drive him away, he abruptly looked elsewhere!
Ren Arakawa's expression also suddenly tensed!
His Sharingan caught a trace of unusual movement in the dim cave!
Without a trace of hesitation, he acted swiftly, pulling Nuowa into his arms! He pulled her away from the position that was about to become the target of an attack!
While Er Niu was still in a daze, an Alien with a sharp tail stinger suddenly attacked from the darkness. Its scorpion-like tail stabbed with astonishing speed toward the spot where Nuowa had just been standing!
The hard ground was easily pierced, leaving behind a deep hole!
This Alien's body was covered in a smooth, black exoskeleton, with disgusting acidic fluid flowing over it.
Its head was teardrop-shaped. When its huge jaw opened, it revealed the sharp inner teeth and a long tongue inside.
The Alien's eyes were black, without pupils, looking cold and merciless.
Its body clung to the ground, a long tail dragging behind it. The stinger at the end of its tail dripped with acidic venom, exuding a deadly threat!

Seeing the monster from the movie appear in front of her, Nuowa froze, her heart stopping for a beat!
Ren Arakawa pulled her up and dragged her as he ran into the distance!
His actions were so fast it was as if he had planned it all along.
At this moment, the one closest to the Alien was Er Niu. He had no choice but to face this monster from hell.
Er Niu gritted his teeth in hatred. A trace of fear flashed in his eyes, but it was quickly replaced by rage.
He quickly pulled out the gun from his waist and aimed at the Alien's head, unleashing a fierce volley of shots.
The bullets hit the Alien's exoskeleton, making the sound of metal colliding. Some bullets were deflected, but some also successfully penetrated the Alien's skin, leaving behind a series of scars.
The Alien was enraged. It let out an even louder roar. The stinger on its tail whipped around again, preparing to launch a fatal attack on Er Niu!
Ren Arakawa and Nuowa finally rushed out of the narrow passage and arrived in a spacious, open area.
It was silent all around; only the sound of Nuowa's heavy panting echoed in the space.
Her chest heaved violently with each breath. She said softly to Ren Arakawa in gratitude, "Thank you, you saved me..."
However, Ren Arakawa did not reply.
His gaze was focused and alert, carefully assessing the surroundings.
The interior of this huge cave was filled with strange rocks and stalactites. In one area, many broken containers were scattered about. The fragments of these containers were strewn across the ground, looking messy and desolate.
In Ren Arakawa's memory, these containers were where the Engineers in the movie stored their casualties. They were originally sealed, protecting the organisms inside.
But now, these containers were, without exception, shattered.
Their interiors were empty, and the Engineer casualties that should have been there were nowhere to be found.
An ominous premonition welled up in Ren Arakawa's heart.
The cracking of these containers and the disappearance of the casualties might mean that there was more than one Alien in this cave.
Nuowa also noticed these broken containers, and a trace of fear flashed in her eyes.
She tightly grasped Ren Arakawa's arm, her voice trembling slightly, "What... what on earth happened here?"
"Something very bad." He handed the gun to Nuowa. "Take it."
"Ah?"
Nuowa had just dropped her own gun in the panic. In her mind, if she took Ren Arakawa's gun, it would mean she was snatching away the hope of survival from the person in front of her.
"Take it. It's not of much use to me." Ren Arakawa pointed ahead. "You might find a way to live if you go that way."
"Then what about you?" Nuowa was shocked.
"Me? I'm going to 'help' our teammate."
Before Nuowa could process what that sentence actually meant...
From the direction of the passage, the sound of hurried running came!
From the shadows of the passage, a huge figure came running at an astonishing speed. Its movements were fast and agile, and every step made the ground tremble slightly.
When this figure rushed out of the darkness, Nuowa's heart leaped—it was actually a werewolf!
This werewolf's body was covered in thick fur. Its sharp claws and fangs glinted coldly in the dim light.
Its eyes emitted a beast-like glow, and a low growl came from its throat, making one's blood run cold!
Startled by this sudden, terrifying creature, Nuowa retreated a few steps.
"In A-Alien, are there mythical creatures like werewolves?" She tightly gripped the gun Ren Arakawa had handed her, ready to deal with a possible attack at any moment.
However, what happened next was even more shocking to her!
A huge fireball suddenly appeared!
Its light illuminated the entire cave, and its scorching heat made the very air warp!
This fireball, like a falling meteor, smashed toward the werewolf at an astonishing speed.
The fireball's speed was extremely fast. The werewolf didn't even have time to react before it was hit head-on!
