Few days later.
"You are very much fit and hale." Sir Rithclief said, bowing to Davien who was lying in bed.
Sir Rithclief was the most skilled and famous doctor in the continent. So many international hospitals pine and toil day and night to secure him, if not as a medical practitioner, at least as the Head of their medical institution, but he was very much beyond their standard.
But here he was, a humble servant of the young heir of the Machkerson family, Davien Ghys Machkerson.
Davien sat up, taking a glance at the solemn face of Sir Rithclief, which further proved how serious the doctor was.
"But you cannot engage in hard labor, not until after a week. So that the treatment can further do its course." He explained.
"You've been very helpful, Sir Rithclief. Thank you." Davien replied.
"Rithclief, please, Master." Sir Rithclief bowed to emphasize his humility.
Davien didn't bother to add a word to what the doctor had said but only nodded.
"I'll see myself out then." Sir Rithclief walked away.
As soon as the man left, Davien got up on his feet. For the past days, he didn't step out of the room. He has been under the proper and adequate care of the skilled doctor.
Staying in door for a few days could land him on the sickbed which he had just escaped. He headed out of the massive and exhaustively furnished master bedroom floored with Sapphire.
On his way out, he caught a glimpse of himself in a massive standing mirror. He now looked like a different person. What wonder can happen to a man's skin within few days.
He stepped out of the bedroom into an elevated terrace that oversaw the vast greenery of utopia stretched out in front of him.
"Goodness." He gasped at the sight, his jaws dropping.
Of course he has seen massive and esthetic buildings, but what lie in front of him was something beyond words could describe.
If he hadn't cracked his knuckles earlier today, he would have thought that he had transmigrated into another world, standing in front of Paradise.
If the Benjamin Villa was water, it was just a drop of tear compared to this vast ocean of beauty and architectural wonder.
From that elevated point of view, he could see the gentle waves of sea clapping in distance. Aside this vast past that he could see, there was no other piece in sight.
"Does this mean that I own this island?" He gasped at the realization.
The Machkerson island was the most costly island ever known. It was said that it held this value because it was as ancient as the world itself, and prominent men of ancient history walked the land.
So many affluent entrepreneurs have made it their life goal to make a purchase of the island, but because it was a family piece with a rich history, it could never be sold.
There was nothing missing on the island. There was a private restaurant overseen by one of the best chefs in the world. A private mall that has all limited-edition products. An automobile company that solely produces limited-branded cars only for the family. A golf course, a vast garden, a private zoo and lots more.
Just from where Davien was standing and looking, he could see everything from a bird's eye view, and knew that he would never see anything close to this ever again in his life.
"How did I go from this to that Benjamin family?" He muttered.
The question opened a passage in his mind which drifted his mind slowly from the present moment into the nearest past. He recalled the story that Flora Hulbert had told him about how he went missing.
"Some group of people were after your life." Flora had started. "They couldn't bear the thought that a five years old will grow through the years and be their head. They wanted to get rid of you and take over the family. And killing you while you were young was their best bet."
"Upon hearing the information, my father, the butler back then, decided to help you escape. Even though it would cost his life. While you were escaping, nobody knew that a coup had been staged on the way and you were involved in an ancient. We all thought you were dead."
"But apparently that Benjamin man saved you back then. My father found out that you survived and decided to meet Mr Benjamin whose business was in the middle of bankruptcy. My father promised to use your family influence to boost Mr Benjamin's business in exchange for taking care of you."
"My father died not long after, killed by the same group of men. Sooner than later, the bad blood started quelling and I grew up, getting the help of the good ones."
"My father was grateful to have died after your parents. On his death bed, he mentioned that he didn't think the death of your parents was natural."
Davien's mind lingered on the thoughts as a beautiful bird perched on the balcony. He took in a deep breath, trying not to focus on the past but in the present.
"One step at a time." Davien nodded. "I'll repay the Benjamin family first in kind, before searching out those bastards who hurt my family!"
Swearing that oath to himself seemed to work a sort of magic, since his mood was lifted and his heart became light.
Suddenly, he heard some activities coming from inside his room and turned instantly.
There were nine beautiful ladies dressed in thin bras and panties standing in front of him. They all wore brilliant smiles. Each of them looked like someone who has just walked out a modeling magazine.
"Miss Flora sent us to bathe you." One of the ladies said.
"Bathe me?" Davien thought that he was not hearing right.
"Yes, Master. It's time to bathe." They all chorused.
Before he could react or argue, all the ladies had ran to him and held his arms, taking him away against his will to do as ordered.
If this was a strenuous or arduous task, Davien would have refused point blank, but this was much of a pleasurable act that he was already fantasizing about.
He had thought that they were taking him to a bath room, but when they walked into the magnificent hall, he was stunned.
There was a section of the ocean water that was walled like a private pool in this hall. It had glass wall6, and on the other side, he could see different kinds of big fishes.
"Come, sir." One of the girls urged.
In the blinking of an eye, he was taken into the water, scrubbed, kneaded and given every sort of satisfaction he could ever imagine.
"Did you have a good time, Master?" Flora Hulbert walked into the living room, bowing to him.
"Ah, Flora." Jaai put the PS5 pad down. "You should have given me a heads up."
"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself." Flora smiled, soft and warm.
Davien didn't say a word.
"Are you ready to meet them, Master?" Flora asked, his expression looking serious now. "The board in the charge of the consortium? The men who run the entire continent." She added, bowing to him. "They are all waiting for you."
