Chapter 10 - Queen Erin's Diary

Michelle's POV

"Wakey, wakey…"

The voice sounded like Micha's.

"Micha, give me a few minutes… just a few more minutes," I grumbled, expecting his usual nagging.

Instead, a different voice replied:

> "Micha? Is that your brother in the Werewolf Realm? Rest all you want, sis. You must be tired…"

My eyes snapped open.

Yesterday's memories hit me like a storm.

I bolted upright in bed.

"I want to get stronger," I declared.

Eric stared at me like I'd just said the funniest joke in the world.

> "You don't have to get stronger. You're already strong. Your body is strong. You just need a little training and — boom — you'll be back on your feet. And your powers? Still stored where you left them. Once your memories return, your powers will return too."

"Where are my powers stored?" I asked.

> "In your body. You need all your memories to access them fully."

He headed toward the door but paused.

> "When you're ready, join us for breakfast. We haven't had a full family meal in a long time."

"Sure," I replied. "I'll be there in a few minutes."

As he turned away, my vision caught that cursed picture — the one with Levi and me locked in a very intimate pose. I grabbed Eric's sleeve.

"Who is this?" I asked, pointing accusatorily at the frame.

Eric blinked at me, looking surprised.

> "You don't remember him? You two were inseparable. You even went against Father when we discovered he wasn't from our realm, I can't believe you don't remember him ."

My heart skipped a beat.

"Wait — he wasn't from here? Then where?"

> "The Werewolf Realm."

He sighed, the memory clearly painful.

> "He was the first werewolf to enter our world after the portals were created to protect us from his kind. When Father realized you were in love with the enemy, he was furious. For the first time, his loyal daughter disobeyed him."

I listened, breath shallow.

> "But eventually, he accepted your relationship with Daniel. You loved each other deeply… until the day Nicolas came."

His expression darkened.

> "That day was drenched in blood. Nicolas was furious… monstrous. You and Daniel fought with everything you had — together — until you both dropped dead. Daniel's body faded into the air… we couldn't save him. We were useless."

Eric placed a hand on my shoulder.

> "But that's all in the past. When you're done, come to the dining table. We'll be waiting."

He left.

I stood there, trying to process everything he just said to me.

Daniel looked exactly like Alpha Levi.

Too similar.

Too alarming.

I grabbed the picture, shoved it into a box, and hid it away.

Not now.

First, I get strong.

Then I return home…

and Clara will pay.

Little did I know… Clara was already paying, and trying to escape death.

I wandered around the room, desperate for a clue from my past — and that's when I spotted it:

A huge, beautifully bound diary.

The handwriting was elegant. Royal.

I flipped open a page:

> "Daniel kissed me today."

I was surprised, seems like they were really in love.

I flipped again:

> "We went to the waterfall and had s**."

I slammed the book shut — face burning.

So Queen Erin wasn't only a hero…

She had a spicy side too.

With a deep breath, I freshened up and headed toward the dining room.

As I walked through the elegant corridor leading from my room to the dining hall, every maid and guard I passed bowed respectfully. Their loyalty was unmistakable.

Surprisingly, I didn't feel nervous or overwhelmed — my body moved like it had lived this life before. I simply smiled at them and continued confidently.

When I arrived at the long dining table, I greeted everyone.

They responded with warm smiles. Nothing felt strange. It felt… normal.

After a moment, I asked,

"Where is Aunt Mona? Doesn't she live here?"

My parents shared a small smile before my father spoke.

"She used to — she was a princess, just like you. But your aunt never liked the idea of being bound by marriage, so she ran away. When she finally returned, she was holding a child. She said the child was hers, although I did not know why he doesn't have golden hair like her, because our hair is very dominant, only those from the royal family have golden hair, we were hoping she was lying, that maybe she just found a random child and lied to father , so she could escape marriage,so a test was conducted to see if the child was really hers , the test results showed that the boy was actually her son, Our father was furious — wanting to know who the father was, he even wanted to know if she married this man before having a child with him ,he kept on asking her why she would disgrace the royal family, father really cared about his reputation then, as a king .But Mona didn't care. She simply brushed off his anger, she acted as if she did not give birth to a child out of wedlock and continued with her life."

He paused, his tone softening.

"Your grandfather told me he missed you before he left the realm. He's currently in the Elven Realm negotiating a treaty. Elf blood has strong healing abilities — it strengthens vampires. We must prepare… in case another war arises."

War again.

All I did was ask where Aunt Mona lived…

Just like Aunt Mona once told me — every answer only brings more questions.

Where is her child now?

Does he live in the palace or with aunt Mona?

Why is elf blood so special?

How long will Grandfather be gone?

I swallowed the questions bubbling up and focused on what mattered most.

"How do I access my powers?" I asked.

My mother's expression turned serious.

"You can't. Not yet."

I frowned. "What do you mean?"

"You must regain your strength first," she explained. "Your powers are too immense for your current condition. If you try to use them now, they could overwhelm you. You could die."
