Chapter 8 - Encounter Super Luck Skill

The forest morning was crisp and quiet. Birds chirped overhead, and the gentle sound of the river flowing nearby filled the clearing.

Pramit stretched and yawned, glancing at the fire. "Hah… slept well, ate well… think I'll just nap a bit more before we leave," he muttered lazily.

Lyria's golden eyes narrowed. She pressed her lips together, muttering under her breath, clearly annoyed. How rude… just lying there like that.

After a moment, she reached into her bag and pulled out a small pouch. With a huff, she placed it near him.

"Take this… 100 gold coins. Don't think you're getting away without paying for the trouble you caused. And… hurry up when you leave."

Pramit blinked at the pouch, then yawned again. "Gold, huh… nice. I'll take it… but first, nap."

She huffed, crossing her arms. "I can't believe this… you really are the laziest person I've ever met."

"Mm-hm," he murmured, already lying back against a tree. Closing his eyes, he added lazily, "Goodbye… or whenever I feel like leaving."

Lyria shook her head and muttered under her breath. "Unbelievable…" Then, with a soft sigh, she turned and walked toward the path leading out of the forest, leaving him to his nap.

The sun rose higher, casting warm light across the camp. Pramit grinned sleepily, thinking, 100 gold coins… not bad for doing nothing

Pramit watched Lyria disappear down the forest path, her footsteps fading into the distance. He yawned, stretching his arms. "Good… more nap time for me," he muttered lazily.

Almost immediately, a faint chime echoed in his mind. The familiar system notification appeared:

[Reward Received: Earth Manipulation Skill | Rank: Unknown]Effect: Can manipulate soil, stone, and ground. Further details unknown.

Pramit blinked at it, tilted his head, and muttered,

"Earth skill… huh. Could be useful… or a lot of work. Heh, whatever."

Still feeling the pull of sleep and safety, he decided to explore a nearby area for a suitable resting spot. After a short wander, he noticed the mouth of a cave, partially hidden behind overgrown vines.

"Hmm… not bad," he said, stepping closer. "Could be peaceful… no monsters… just me."

The entrance looked ordinary, nothing special. But the moment he stepped inside, he stopped dead.

The cave opened into a surprisingly luxurious interior. Soft light bounced off polished stone walls. There were three furnished rooms, a kitchen with tools and cookware, a dining area, a toilet, and even a large bathroom with a hot water system. A sofa and bed were perfectly arranged, looking almost brand-new.

Pramit's eyes widened just a little. "Wait… what? This… this is mine? All mine?"

He kicked off his shoes and flopped onto the sofa with a satisfied groan. "Not bad… really not bad. Can nap, eat, and… maybe never leave this place."

The system chimed again, softly reminding him:

[Cave Registered as Personal Safe Zone | Rewards: Peaceful Rest, Item Storage, Crafting Enabled]

He blinked, then smirked. "Safe zone… huh. Perfect for lazy me. Heh, this world knows what's important."

Pramit wandered through the rooms lazily, testing the hot water in the bath, sitting on the sofa, and peeking into the kitchen. Everything was perfect, exactly the way a lazy boy might dream of.

He plopped onto the bed again, sighing contentedly. "Yep… life just got a lot easier."

Outside, the forest continued its quiet morning. Inside, Pramit—new skill, gold coins in his pocket, and a luxurious cave all to himself—settled in for a peaceful, completely unbothered rest.
