Marie Sterling's face fills Elliot's screen, and I feel Katherine go rigid beside me.
"She looks just like Victoria," Katherine whispers. "Older, but... the same eyes."
She's right. Marie Sterling has the same cold beauty as her daughter had. Elegant in her late fifties, with perfectly styled blonde hair, expensive jewelry catching light in what looks like a European estate. But her eyes, much like Victoria's eyes, hold nothing but hatred.
"We need everyone here," I say. "Now."
Within twenty minutes, the penthouse is complete with Thomas, Luca, Morrison, Elliot still on his laptop, and Katherine beside me. We were close enough to touch, but neither of us reached.
Morrison speaks first. "Marie Sterling née Marie Lundgren. Swedish national, married to American diplomat Charles Sterling. Lives primarily in Stockholm but has residences in London, Paris, and New York. Her estimated net worth is 800 million dollars."
"Diplomatic immunity," Thomas says flatly. "Through her husband."
