"Uchiha Mirai?" Sasuke repeated the name of the mysterious owner of the voice that suddenly sounded in his head suspiciously "I have never heard that name before. Who are you exactly?"
"I am an Uchiha from the future. I came to change you Sasuke."
"Future? That's crazy. When can time travel be done? I must be hallucinating from Genjutsu until my brain is messed up for sure." Sasuke held his head tightly before shaking it but then his body stopped froze because his consciousness was pulled in by Uchiha Mirai to talk in a personal dimension.
"Heh heh. Personal dimension. Can do anything huh. This ability is really good." The man in black robes with the Uchiha crest in the middle of his back wearing a hood covering his head stood with his back to Sasuke who was standing bewildered in the dimension filled with only darkness.
"Where is this?"
"My own personal dimension." Mirai turned to face him but Sasuke still couldn't see his face but he could guess that he was a middle-aged adult from his voice and 180 centimeters in height "Let's talk. First I will show you evidence that I came from the future."
As soon as Mirai finished speaking the surrounding image changed to the scene of the night of the tragedy from the perspective of a viewer from above which allowed Sasuke to see and hear the conversation between his brother and his parents.
"You betrayed the clan. . . to stop our revolution huh." Father spoke knowingly while staring into Itachi's eyes with the Mangekyō Sharingan.
"Yes. The Konoha Elders ordered it but I already negotiated with Lord Third."
"Negotiated. . . with the life of Sasuke your younger brother right?" Mother asked with a trembling voice.
Itachi nodded before the scene cut to Itachi leaving the village along with "Tobi" and Black Zetsu.
"What. . . What was that?" Sasuke asked with a trembling voice while the surrounding image returned to the empty white room again "You said the Uchiha clan only had me and my brother left. Then that person the one-eyed Sharingan person who is it?"
"He is a member of Akatsuki a secret organization founded by Orochimaru with the goal of world domination of the ninja world." Mirai answered before explaining that the image was the truth recorded as "The origin of one of the heroes of the 4th Great Ninja War the history of Uchiha Sasuke."
"I. . . will be a hero of the ninja world? The 4th War??"
"Yes. In no more than 20 years from now the Great Ninja War will happen again. The result of the war is that the whole world falls into an illusion under the Mugen Tsukuyomi (Infinite Moon Reader) jutsu from the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan that Uchiha Madara used in the Ten-Tails Sage Form before being possessed by Black Zetsu and becoming Kaguya the Mother of Chakra. But you and Naruto cooperated to seal her and release the Infinite Tsukuyomi saving the entire world."
". . . I don't understand anything at all. What are you talking about?" Sasuke's youthful bright face that showed straightforward doubt made Mirai smile faintly at the corner of his mouth with affection.
"In short. In the future you will have the power level to release the Ten-Tails jutsu the combined form of all 9 Tailed Beasts. But until then your hands will be stained with much blood and you will almost kill your best friend too."
"Then. . . why did you tell me now?"
"I want to change your future Sasuke. If you remain the same you will join Orochimaru be obsessed with the revenge that Itachi built an image of in your mind sink into darkness be disappointed with the truth and think of destroying Konoha."
"Me. . . I will destroy Konoha?"
"That's right." Mirai nodded before showing Sasuke the cause of the clan massacre not forgetting to tell back to the events since Konoha was first founded.
"Now that you know the truth how do you feel?" After showing it Sasuke was silent for almost ten minutes before opening his eyes which had become the Sharingan with two tomoe looking at Mirai with an angry expression.
"Itachi sacrificed himself for me for the village. . . I shouldn't destroy the village but I should kill Danzo! Mirai!! You did reveal this truth to me but I still don't completely believe it. Can you show more evidence? Can you take me to the secret base under the Naka Shrine that Itachi told me about that night?"
