Abel [muttering]
We need to do something. We have to go there.
The eclipse is in three days — we can't just sit and wait.
Tasha
We'll save her. But first, we need to understand what we're up against.
Didn't you see what happened? One individual leveled an entire city, wiping out ten percent of the population.
Not even all our powers combined could do that.
Kenny
We still have to try. We can't just wait for the eclipse to come.
Icabod
It's not like we even have the directions to their hideout. Mount... something — he didn't finish it, remember?
Tasha
There's someone who can help us. But we'll have to fight for the answers he gives.
Kenny
Diablo? Man, we're not ready for that guy. Remember what happened last time?
Abel
I'll face him head-on.
Tasha
Don't be reckless. You survived our last encounter by nothing but grace.
Kenny
He's a real monster in human skin.
But you're right — he's the only one smart enough to know something.
Reed
Indeed.
The group journeyed down to the Forsaken Side of the city.
Reed stayed back to manage the bar while the others pushed through a harsh, silent path until they reached an eerie dojo — abandoned, cold, and heavy with dread.
Diablo
Stop staring and come in. It's not like we're enemies.
Tasha
We need your help, Diablo. It's urgent — a friend's life is at stake.
Diablo [smirks]
You know the cost, right? Ten minutes.
Last as long as you can… or land just one hit on me.
Kenny
Hey, bro. Go somewhere far.
Or better yet, hide behind the trees.
Icabod
Why? What's about to happen?
Abel
Someone's gonna die. And we'd rather it not be you.
Tasha
You all ready?
The boys cracked their knuckles, eyes locked on Diablo, who stood in silence — serious, unblinking.
In the next instant, their bodies flickered, dashing toward him from all directions.
Diablo [smirks]
Still too slow, kids.
He caught Tasha midair, slamming her into the ground. She froze the ground beneath her instantly, reducing the impact — then froze Diablo's arm to the floor.
Before anyone could react, he vanished in a flash of lightning, reappearing behind Abel and kicking him with brutal force. Abel was sent flying across the forest but bounced back, flames blazing around him.
Kenny flickered above Diablo, attempting a high kick — but was caught midair and slammed into Abel, both crashing into the earth.
Tasha [furious]
You're really starting to annoy me, Diablo.
Diablo [laughs]
Put up a good fight… Daughter.
Everyone froze.
That word — daughter — was the one thing guaranteed to enrage her.
Abel
Now she's pissed.
Tasha stepped forward.
The air grew eerily still.
Cold mist curled from her fingertips — nearby houses froze, and even Abel's flames flickered weakly, struggling to stay alive.
Tasha [low, trembling voice]
What… did you call me?
Diablo [chuckling]
Hmm… kid?
Tasha
…You asked for it.
Tasha:
"Glacier Domina — Frostbound Sanctuary."
The world transformed.
They were no longer standing in the dojo — but within a cathedral of ice.
Towering crystal pillars stretched endlessly, snow fell in silence, and the ground reflected every movement like a mirror.
All warmth, color, and sound vanished.
It was hauntingly serene — holy and deadly.
Every breath turned to frost. Even time seemed to slow.
Diablo [grinning]
So this is your domain… beautiful — but slow.
He dashed forward, lightning flashing — yet frost trailed his every step.
The sanctuary drained his momentum, each strike slowing, each bolt of lightning fizzing under the suffocating chill.
Tasha extended her hand — lances of ice erupted from the ground, glimmering like diamonds.
Diablo shattered them with thunder fists, but one shard grazed his cheek, drawing blood.
Tasha
Even lightning has a heartbeat.
And I can freeze that too.
For the first time, Diablo's grin faded.
The frost bit deep into his nerves. His lightning surged violently, forming a halo of storms.
Diablo
Don't underestimate me, girl!
He slammed his fist into the ice — lightning crawled like veins through the frozen floor, splitting the sanctuary apart.
Blue frost clashed with golden thunder — the battlefield blazed with chaotic beauty.
Tasha leapt back, summoning a massive ice dragon that roared to life, charging at him.
Diablo met it head-on, his body wrapped in lightning — his punch detonated the dragon in a storm of frozen shards.
The explosion illuminated the entire sanctuary — frost and thunder entwined.
When the light faded, both stood still, breath visible in the frozen air.
Tasha, her eyes glowing a deep blue, every step radiating frost.
Diablo, lightning crawling over his skin like living beasts, his smirk returning faintly.
