He was there.
The one who was so powerful that the Earth was too fragile to handle his aura.
The ground felt trembling with him so close.
Si-Hun saw him.
He didn't know him.
Was he.. another villain?
No.
Si-Hun after seeing him knew that he wasn't someone ordinary.
Even his presence screamed power.
He was standing at the top of the weird temple-like monument that looked like a pyramid only with stairs on it.
"Welcome, young boy."
"Looks like you made it here."
"I was hoping to see you here."
"W-who are you?"
Si-Hun asked visibly scared.
"I, am Eravus,The creation of human curiosity and greed."
"Curiosity? Greed?"
"Yes. I was created by the mistake of powerful humans. The outcome of seven curious Monarchs."
"I'm not going to hurt you, so don't be scared."
Si-Hun looked at him thinking wether to trust him or not.
"Come to me."
"W-what?"
"I said come here."
"O-okay."
Si-Hun mustered up the courage to follow his lead.
Si-Hun was behind him while he was walking upstairs.
"I want to attack him but-'' Si-Hun was just thinking this in his mind when
"Don't make a foolish move by attacking me,toung boy."
Si-Hun's breath hitched.
He could hear his intrusive thoughts.
"H-he can hear my intrusive t-thoughts!?"
They were now standing in front of the gate of the weird monument.
"How will this thing open?" Si-Hun asked,his voice low.
~A creak.
The door opened by itself.
"W-what the heck!?" Si-Hun said shocked.
He followed Eravus into the large room.
The inside was very beautiful.
There were carvings on the huge walls that looked like they could touch the sky.
There were knights standing everywhere.
That place looked like it could only be in a fairytale.
The place was dimly lit.
Then, in there, was a large throne that had a red cloth on.
Eravus suddenly vanished and in the next blink of an eye, he was sitting on the thore with one of his legs on the throne,close to his face.
"Surprised?"
"Who exactly are you?"
"I told you that before, but I guess I have to reveal it to you properly."
"As I told you my name before, I am Eravus, The one who is fighting silently for humanity for millions of years. But now,that I've gotten older, I need someone to inherit my immense powers. My powers are not ordinary,they're powers that make you so strong in every sense of the world. I have observed you,your soul, and I've found the desired one,you are the chosen one, Si-Hun."
"Chosen one..,like it said in the beginning."
" You, are the perfect one. Getting up after broken in every sense. I was looking for the type of determination that was undeniable,dominant over comfort. I wanted someone who was brave enough to save another soul while giving up on theirs. The kind who thrive for a meaning."
"Huh?"
"I found it all in you."
"I'm not lying when I say I observed you and your soul."
"My soul?"
"I saw clear through you,pure but powerful."
" You remember how you didn't have any injury after that portal incident? It was me,who recovered you when you were on the verge of dying. A soul like this getting wasted would be a huge loss to humanity. I couldn't let you die."
"What!?"
"You know why you din't get drunk by the alcohol? You wouldn't be,even in the future. I have made your immunity and tolerance superhuman. Anything like alcohol,drugs, and poison would be useless on you. It wouldn't have any affect on you."
"That explains it all.."
"You know why you're here, in my territory which no one from your world has seen?
"Why..?"
"Because, I want YOU to inherit the power I've been the master of."
"W-what?... ME!?"
"Yes. You are the one I've been looking for. The one who can carry and control my powers, that an ordinary being can't."
"But I AM just an ordinary guy. There are hundreds of extreme level predators who are WAY stronger than me."
"You…are not an ordinary man. There's something in you that makes you different from the all. You will understand it later."
"Now, that I've told you everything you needed to know, there's just one more entity I want you to know about."
"Abriyon- The King of the portals and the monsters.He's the one who's been creating portals on Earth to support his immense powers. He was created by the same Monarch's mistakes. There were seven monarchs in ancient Egypt. The most powerful beings on Earth. They were very proud of their reach. Just like you know, that merging powers can lead to destruction and much more. They did too, but their curios minds betrayed their boundries and they all,at once merged their powers. After they did, they had given birth to two entities, Me and Abriyon.
While Eravus was telling this,Si-Hun could actually see it in his mind because Eravus controlled his mind to show him that visually."
"The mergeance of their powers created something like a gate with two side, one glowing black, and the other glowing bluish purple. From the black side came Abriyon, and from the right side came, me. Those monarchs died just before they created that because of the ultimate power that was created at once."
"But,then why doesn't your powers have any impact on me?"
"Because you are special,and I've made you equivalent to my status,but not in the abilities,as you would have to earn that."
"This is so…unreal."
" I know. Now ,that you know me, I want your answer, if you're willing to head down the path of sheer will and power,to end this system of portals,forever.?"
"I…."
He thought about it. He wanted to grow stronger,in every sense,he wanted to improve while saving humanity.
"I am ready to inherit your powers,Eravus."
"I knew you would agree to this."
"If you could read my thoughts,why did you ask me?"
"I can but only if I want to,but I don't like to interfere with something that is so..powerfiul."

"But, with great power comes great responsibilty. You can't get this powerful in just one day. You will have to 'earn' the rewards."
