Chapter 127 - Absolutely Monstrous!
"Perfect! This is the design I've always dreamed of! This will be a masterpiece of Chaos! Astartes will no longer need complex surgeries, and I will become the new Warsmith! Hahaha!"
Honsou stood up, pointing with both hands at the floating hololithic image, his voice hoarse but full of excitement.
The surrounding daemonic runes seemed to sense Honsou's excitement, flashing even brighter, and deep murmurs echoed in the air, as if cheering for his discovery.
'This is all thanks to the power of Chaos. It's unbelievable!'
Even when capturing subjects, he smiled, as if everything were moving in a favorable direction.
A few days later, he stood before a massive fleshy incubator, its surface covered in daemonic runes, his face grim. The endless forced infusion of gene-seed fragments had long since caused these civilian test subjects to lose their original appearance.
He looked down at the viscous liquid churning inside the incubator, a daemonic womb formed by fusing fragments of gene-seed, Warp energy, and captured civilian subjects.
As he inserted each human into the womb, the unconscious humans automatically curled up together like embryos. On the cold execution platform, a mother, still retaining a trace of consciousness, kept whispering.
"Uh... uh..."
However, a week later, the incubator that Honsou had been eagerly anticipating finally opened.
Tear~
As the membrane slowly separated, a dense green light burst forth from within. He stepped forward with immense anticipation, but when he saw the result before him, he was instantly stunned.
Instead of the Chaos Space Marines he expected, a group of tall, muscular Astartes with green carapace armor emerged.
They marched in a neat formation and shouted in unison. "Loyalty belongs to the Emperor! We fight for the Imperium!"
Honsou's face twisted instantly, his anger rising to explosive levels. He suddenly pulled out the daemon claw beside him and slashed directly at the incubator, tearing apart the daemonic fleshy structure, from which more green ichor flowed out.
"What is going on? Loyal Astartes? How could this be!" Honsou roared furiously. "Something must be wrong! Something must be!"
The green-armored Astartes ignored Honsou's roar, as if they were completely unaware of his presence. They began cleaning the lab floor, sorting through fragments of gene-seed, and one of them even gave Honsou a standard Imperial salute.
"Thank you, Lord Honsou, for allowing us to serve the Imperium!"
At that moment, Honsou's rage peaked. He roared furiously and slashed at an Astartes with his daemon claw, but the Astartes stood firm and blocked the attack with a psychic shield.
"Aren't you the Imperium's Apothecary?" the Astartes asked. "Where are we? Where is Father? How could this be the Warp? Oh no, we've been captured by Chaos! We must escape and find Father!"
The quick-thinking Astartes grabbed power armor from the wall early and rushed out.
Splurt!
"This is impossible!" Honsou coughed up a mouthful of blood, his eyes glazed over. "IMPOSSIBLE!!"
He was panting heavily, almost delirious, muttering to himself. "They clearly had the power of the Warp infused! Why are all the hatched warriors loyal to the Imperium? Impossible! This must be an accident! Let's try again, we'll definitely succeed!"
When he opened all the remaining daemonic wombs, what emerged from each incubator were all Astartes with green carapace. They shouted as always, "Loyalty belongs to the Emperor! We fight for the Imperium!"
Honsou's anger turned into extreme shock and despair. "How is this possible? How come there isn't a single Chaos warrior? How is this possible! Even if it's random, I should have succeeded at least once!"
He watched as hundreds of green-armored Astartes hatched, quickly forming ranks and donning the power armor from Honsou's collection. Because of the commotion, many Chaos Space Marines with corrupted bodies ran over.
"Old Honsou, what's happening?"
"What got out?"
Just as they reached the door, they heard the Astartes' thunderous roar. "Purge the traitors, purge Chaos!"
Instantly, countless sparks from bolter barrels shot towards them, and they cried out in agony as they were obliterated.
"This is impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Honsou knelt on the ground, clutching his helmet with both hands, and let out a heart-wrenching roar.
He suddenly stood up and swung his daemon claw at the nearest Astartes, trying to tear it apart, but the green Astartes nimbly dodged Honsou's attack and then kicked open a laboratory door.
Then these green Astartes quickly began to "liberate" Honsou's entire laboratory. They seized weapons, took away equipment, and even stripped away pieces of the Chaos artifacts that Honsou had painstakingly accumulated.
Honsou was completely devastated, watching helplessly as his experimental equipment was confiscated, and even the daemonic rune panels were removed. These green Astartes even meticulously scoured the laboratory floor before departing.
"You beasts! They're absolute beasts! Aaaaaaah!" Honsou roared furiously like a wounded predator and rushed forward to stop them, but several Astartes blocked him.
He could only watch helplessly as they stood in neat formations, chanting "Loyalty to the Emperor!" and disappeared outside the laboratory entrance. The laboratory was empty. Not even a fragment of gene-seed remained.
Honsou watched this scene, trembling all over, his eyes filled with despair and madness. He staggered to the center of the laboratory and roared to the void. "Why! Why did you do this to me! No!"

....
Terra.
Perturabo picked up a strangely shaped communication device. The device looked like some biological modification, with the main body being an ork head covered in eyes. The eyes on its head were empty and lifeless, yet they faintly glowed green.
Its mouth opened from time to time, emitting strange sounds.
Blu-Blu-Blu-Blu-
"Does this contraption even work?" Perturabo muttered, frowning, as he pressed the button on top of the head.
The head's mouth suddenly opened wide, emitting a piercing shriek, followed by clear communication fluctuations.
Francis's voice came through the device. "How's it going? Can you get through?"
Perturabo froze for a moment, then grinned. "By Throne! It actually works! Ha! If the Emperor found out about this, I wonder if He'd be furious! Hahaha~"
He had barely finished speaking when he felt a chill run down his back, followed by a black psychic lightning bolt striking down.
"Aaaaaah!"
The discharge completely scorched Perturabo, and he mumbled something in a daze. "That's harsh. The Emperor is so petty..."
But a voice came from the ork communication device. "I'm fine. I even feel like I've gotten stronger!"
"Francis! That's not fair, it should be..."
Before Perturabo could finish speaking, another black lightning bolt appeared out of nowhere.
"Aaaaaah!"
Hearing the screams coming from the other side, Francis scratched his head. It seemed that the Emperor wasn't in a good mood lately, so he should avoid provoking Him. He glanced down at the ork's head wearing a steel helmet in front of him.
Looking at the ork's head in the steel casing before him, it seemed his experiment had been a success. The recruitment had been entrusted to Sarpedon, which was a good opportunity for Terra to recruit higher-quality warriors.
Just as he was thinking, the large doors behind him slowly opened, and several Sisters of Silence filed in. They were clad in bronze armor, their faces stern, and they remained silent. Their presence seemed to warp their surroundings, creating a profound sense of calm.
Francis set the communication device aside. 'It seems I should start researching the Sisters of Silence. I'd almost forgotten about it.'
"Please sit down." He pointed to a row of metal chairs next to the lab bench.
The Sisters exchanged glances without speaking, then removed their helmets, placed them aside, and sat down in their chairs.
Francis felt a pang of disappointment. 'Why are they all wearing single ponytails? Why aren't they wearing twin ponytails?'
Even though they did nothing, Francis could feel that cold, nullifying sensation. They seemed to devour all psychic energy that came near them. When Francis used his Hundred Eyes to observe them, he could only see a black void.
Unlike others, they did not make contact with the Warp. Instead, they devoured everything about the Warp, and since they entered the lab, the other test subjects had all exhibited manic behavior.
'They seem desperate to escape this place! No wonder they're called Untouchables!'
Even the machine-spirits here were instinctively recoiling from them.
"Your Excellency, how would you like us to cooperate with the experiments? We are willing to give our lives to save the Emperor."
The lead Sister was gesturing rapidly with her hands in Thoughtmark, giving Francis a sense of familiarity.
"Pfft~" Francis suddenly realized something and couldn't help but laugh.
It's fine if he doesn't laugh, but once he does, trouble follows!
Clang!
The Sisters of Silence in front of him drew their executioner greatswords and pointed them at Francis, while the youngest Sister frantically gestured with her hands.
"What are you laughing at! You are blaspheming our loyalty to the Imperium! Even if you are the Primarch, you cannot blaspheme us like this! Draw your swords! Even if we die here, we will defend our dignity!"
Francis raised both hands slowly. "..."
Just then, the laboratory door slid open again, and a tall figure stepped in. That was Hiero, the Archmagos of Restoration, who walked in carrying many mechanical devices, her voice somewhat cheerful.
"Primarch! It's been a long time! I've come to see you!"
At the same time, a sphere of light interwoven with psychic energy and data condensed in the center of the laboratory. A moment later, the female machine-spirit of Abyss Howl also manifested, petulantly complaining.
"I sense that your experiments are interfering with my primary processes. What are you doing?"
The moment they saw each other, Francis felt the temperature in the laboratory drop several degrees. He stepped back cautiously.
"Uh... Why did you all arrive at the same time?"
