"You're seeing what I'm seeing, right?" Emma chuckled and folded her arms. "I expected this."
"Real Mia?" Mia looked confused, then paused. Her eyes widened in realisation. "You're the hidden queen?"
Mom chuckled. "Correct. But I heard you refuse to leave my husband alone despite him taking care of you and your daughter."
Elena looked between them in confusion. "Mom… what's going on here?"
Mia looked at her, then lowered her head in embarrassment. Elena sniffed and nodded. "So the rumours are true? You're just the acting queen…" She cried softly, turned to leave, but stopped and looked at me. "Thank you for saving me, Allison." Then she walked away.
I raised a brow, watching her struggle to walk. I didn't expect that. "Where is she going?" I asked.
Emma rolled her eyes. "Why do you even care?"
I sighed. "Where's Alex?" I asked a maid and followed her.
As I passed through a long passage, I saw someone quickly close one of the doors.
