Emma looked at me in disbelief. "Are you crazy? Don't even try that. Do you think that place is Disneyland?"
"Really? I'm just thinking of confusing…"
"You can't, Allison. Forget about it. Just pray Ethan wins over them."
"Ohhh, that's right." As if I'll listen. Why am I even telling her my plan? He said they're in a place called Edem. She probably thinks I can't handle it. But I'm once part of them, and I know some powerful people too. What Emma doesn't know is… the Jethro they're talking about is also my boss.
I left that underworld because it was boring and I wanted to see Mom in the Silver Kingdom. Jethro is good at training agents and I'm one of the agents he trained. I joined through my uncle, who's a very good friend.
If only Emma knew our uncle was the second in command. Thinking of how shocked she will be amused me.
