" I should go too," I sighed. "Where is my own chamber?" I asked Thomas. He gave me this weird look. "You'll be sleeping in my chamber."
I rolled my eyes and scoffed. "I want mine! Why would you take a random girl to your chamber?"
He chuckled and held my hand. "Come."
Before I knew it, he was pulling me into a secret passage.

I stared at my phone in a daze. I still can't stop thinking about how I was asking about Ethan while he was literally standing right there. I wish I knew his reaction… I will ask Emma later. Why do I even care? He's fine. To him, I betrayed him. He has no idea what is about to happen to me because of him.
I even overheard the king and his generals saying Ethan shouldn't marry the person he loves so it won't affect him when ruling. I'm just caught in the middle, not knowing what to do.
