Chapter 132 - Chapter 130: Ron's Wand

Because something came up at the Ministry, Chris and Diana didn't come back at noon, so Kael had lunch at the Weasley house.

Having not seen Kael for more than half a month, Mrs. Weasley was very pleased, and immediately piled seven or eight sausages onto his plate, insisting he have three bowls of rice.

After eating, Kael was so full he didn't want to move.

"Want to join us in getting rid of the goblins?" After lunch, Fred extended an enthusiastic invitation.

"We're proper Quidditch Beaters now; we'll definitely beat you."

"Maybe next time." Kael shook his head and took out a yellow envelope from his pocket, saying, "I need to make a trip to Diagon Alley in a bit to buy some supplies for the new school term."

"Oh, right, you haven't gone shopping yet!"

Mrs. Weasley, who was busy in the kitchen, came over and said, "Just wait a moment, dear, we can go to Diagon Alley with you."

"No need, Mrs. Weasley."

Kael said with a smile: "The things needed for second year are quite similar to the first year, I just need to purchase some parchment and ink, and I'll be back quickly."

"But..." Mrs. Weasley seemed a bit hesitant.

"It's okay, Mom." Fred said, "We can go with him."

George chimed in, "Yeah, Mom, just don't worry."

"Alright then." Mrs. Weasley thought for a moment and said nothing more, but she still glanced at the twins, instructing, "Finish your shopping quickly, and don't take Kael to any dubious places."

"We wouldn't go to those places."

"Honestly, even though you're our mother, you really don't understand us at all."

...

While the twins were talking with Mrs. Weasley, Kael suddenly noticed Ron sitting nearby... along with the wand he was holding.

He'd seen this wand before last term with Charlie; it was severely worn, even the Unicorn hair was exposed.

Kael suddenly remembered something and said, "Mrs. Weasley, you misunderstood Fred and George."

The twins immediately nodded repeatedly at Kael's words, giving a thumbs up behind their backs.

However, Kael acted as if he hadn't seen their gesture and continued, "The reason they're going to Diagon Alley with me is actually to buy Ron a new wand."

"Hmm hmm... hmm?"

Mid-nod, Fred and George froze, turning to look at Kael in disbelief.

Equally incredulous was Ron, sitting on the side.

Merlin, Fred and George... were going to buy him a new wand?

Ron couldn't believe what he was hearing, but soon after, a surge of joy filled his heart.

He wanted a new wand so badly. He'd even been dreaming lately of picking out a wand at Olivander's.

But there was no way, even with money at home, Mrs. Weasley had refused his request for a wand, saying the Galleons belonged to the twins and she was just keeping them safe.

Unexpectedly...

Ron looked at his two brothers, red-eyed and touched, as if about to cry.

Fred and George still hadn't reacted, their expressions appearing a bit dazed.

When did they say they were going to buy Ron a new wand? That would be a pure waste of Galleons. Ron was only a first year, using Charlie's old wand to get by would be fine.

But out of trust for Kael, the twins hesitated for a moment and didn't refute.

"Yes... yes, Mom."

Fred gritted his teeth and said, "We really do want to buy Ron a new wand."

George took a deep breath and forced a dry smile. "We just didn't say anything because we were afraid you'd object."

"Dear, how could I object to that?"

Mrs. Weasley's eyes were also glistening with moisture; she stepped forward and gently hugged Fred and George.

"I'm glad you're thinking this way; George is right, it's me who misunderstood you."

"I'm Fred, Mom." George, his face red, said a bit awkwardly, "You mistook us again."

"Sorry, Fred, dear." Mrs. Weasley released them with a smile, "By the way, wait a moment."

With that, she headed upstairs.

During this time, the twins immediately turned to Kael, eyes full of confusion.

Kael subtly shook his head, indicating they should remain calm.

Soon, Mrs. Weasley returned with a bag in hand.

"Here's your Galleons."

She handed the bag to George, who was closest, saying, "I've always worried that being so young, you'd squander the Galleons as soon as you got them, but now I see you've truly grown up.

Take it, you can't buy a wand without it."

George couldn't wait to open the bag; there were about thirty glittering Galleons inside.

Disappointment flashed in the twins' eyes.

They thought all the Galleons would be in it, only for there to be thirty.

Mrs. Weasley immediately guessed his thoughts, sternly saying again, "What, not enough? Then forget about it."

With that, she made a move to take the bag back.

George stepped back, shaking his head vigorously: "Of course not, Mom, how could we think it isn't enough."

Fearing she might regret it, George headed directly to the fireplace, holding the bag in one hand and grabbing a handful of Floo Powder in the other.

"Time's ticking, we have to go."

He tossed the Floo Powder into the fireplace, and without looking back, he stepped in.

"Diagon Alley!"

In the blink of an eye, George was gone.

Fred and Kael, seeing this, quickly followed suit.

...

When Kael opened his eyes again, he was at the fireplace of the Leaky Cauldron.

Fred and George flanked him on either side, speaking rapidly:

"When did we say we were going to buy Ron a wand!"

"We need an explanation, Kael."

A wand is seven Galleons; that's enough to make a hundred Fat Tongue Toffees.

"Don't get excited, aren't you curious? Why is Olivander's Shop so dirty..."

Kael leaned over to whisper something in their ears.

After listening, the twins' eyes gradually filled with interest, though still with a hint of puzzlement.

Fred hesitated, saying, "A wand is seven Galleons… isn't that too much of a waste."

"No worries, I'll cover this cost." Kael said with a smile, "Consider it a gift for Ron's entry into school..."

"Pfff..."

Just then, a round figure rolled out from the fireplace.

Ron, not bothering with the dust on his body, immediately got up to look around, searching for something.

When he finally saw Kael and the twins not far away, he let out a sigh of relief and happily ran over.
