Chapter 334 - Chapter 334 Two Paths

"Mhm, I believe you, Boss."

After chatting for a few more minutes, Yusei, seeing that Hina was living well, felt reassured and simply left.

Retracing his steps, he exited the Gensokyo barrier and headed directly to the nearest city's airport, booking a flight to Greece.

Through the Servant Contract, Yusei clearly sensed Athena's location. After informing her to wait for him in Greece, he set off for the West.

This was his final stop.

After seeing Athena, Yusei planned to activate the System Mission, [Path to Godhood].

While he was traveling to Greek, the trio of two gods and one rabbit in Tokyo were feeling frustrated.

They were gods, so naturally they wouldn't use slow methods like putting up missing person posters or searching on foot.

Suwako and Kanako traced the residual divine energy, but after searching all over Tokyo, they found nothing.

The last trace of energy was at the Kyudo dojo on the university campus. The two gods and the rabbit went to check it out, but aside from the residual aura, there was no other trace.

This left the three of them utterly disappointed.

They searched high and low but found nothing. If not for the residual energy on campus, they might have even suspected it was an illusion.

But they could never have imagined that the person they were looking for had long since boarded a flight to Greece.

The next day, Athens International Airport.

Yusei got off the plane and, following the contract, immediately spotted a petite figure wearing a sun hat. Athena was still in her loli form, looking utterly adorable.

Yusei walked over with a smile and picked Athena up.

"Nana, have you gained a little weight recently? Feels a bit heavy to hold," Yusei teased.

"This one's weight is perfectly adjusted, so it's impossible to have gained weight." As a god, her form was naturally the epitome of beauty. Whether in loli or mature form, each conformed to its respective characteristics. Her height and weight were in perfect proportion.

"Is that so? Then maybe it's just because I haven't seen Nana for so long, I miss you too much."

"Yusei..." Hearing these affectionate words, Athena felt her heart swell, murmuring his name.

Ignoring the crowd at the airport, Athena leaned close to Yusei and kissed the corner of his mouth.

This scene did surprise the people around them.

Greece was an open country, but a girl this 'young', who looked like an elementary school student, still caused many to stare in astonishment.

Yusei and Athena separated quickly and soon left.

The two strolled through the streets of Athens.

During this time, Yusei asked about what had happened recently and if Athena had found any remnants from the Mythology in this world.

Athena had been fortunate, finding some mythological-era relics and achieving an improvement in her power level.

During these days, she had been 'spreading her faith'… though it was more about bestowing small blessings upon those who worshipped Athena.

Of course, this wasn't done for free, as it brought her faith power in return.

Athena wasn't a god who relied on faith to survive, but faith always granted her greater strength, adding flowers to the brocade, so to speak.

This was a particular aspect she discovered after coming to this world. She found that here, the primary power upon which gods relied for survival and strength was faith power.

It was essentially a matter of proportion. In this world, the proportion of enhancement faith power provided to gods was greater.

This was completely different from the Campione! World she came from, where innate gods placed more importance on their Authorities.

Athena felt that since she had married Yusei, she should also follow the rules of this world, so she began spreading her faith as well.

Yusei told Athena about his plan to go to another world. Athena initially wanted to go with him, but upon learning it wasn't possible, although disappointed, she wasn't overly worried.

She was well aware of Yusei's strength. In her view, Yusei was no weaker than her. Thinking that with such power he wouldn't encounter any real danger, she felt at ease.

The two shared an intimate night together. The next day, Yusei had quietly departed.

Yusei had entered the System space and accepted the second stage of the Path to Godhood.

[Accept [Path to Godhood] Stage Two?] The System's voice rang out.

"Accept."

As soon as Yusei spoke, the System popped up with two prompts.

[Path to Godhood Options:

Shatter the Mortal Shell, Attain Godhood

Sublimate the Soul, Achieve Eternal Immortality]

Yusei stared at the two options, baffled, 'What was all this about bodies and souls?'

He didn't know what these two options represented, but the [Eternal Immortality] part of the second option sounded good. The description suggested permanent life, the undying kind.

But to be safe, Yusei didn't make a choice immediately and instead asked the System:

"System, can you provide details for these two options? Like the mission content and their respective advantages and disadvantages?"

The System was briefly silent, as if thinking, or perhaps searching its internal information.

Soon, a line of text appeared before Yusei.

[Shatter the Mortal Shell, Attain Godhood

Mission Objective: In the Dragon Ball world, transcend your physical limits through self-training, reach the level of a God of Destruction, and master Ultra Instinct.]

Yusei looked at this introduction and immediately dismissed it. He didn't even need to think about it.

If he went there, he wouldn't complete the mission even in ten thousand years.

It was simple.

Without the System's help, relying solely on himself to break through his physical limits, reach God of Destruction level, and master Ultra Instinct was fundamentally impossible.

Son Goku was the Child of Destiny, plus he had Saiyan blood. What did Yusei have?

His current strength was quite good, but none of that was related to his physical body.

He was currently just a mortal body. Even if it was slightly tougher due to his Campione power, it was useless.

If he went to the Dragon Ball World, he'd be squashed instantly. Those guys were planet-busters.

At best, he could currently create a moon, which was still far off.

Plus, attaining godhood through the body didn't have the advantage of soul immortality. Yusei simply had no desire to go.

"Then what about the second one, Soul Sublimation?" Yusei continued asking.

[Sublimate the Soul, Achieve Eternal Immortality

Mission Objective: Randomly traverse to a world where soul sublimation can be achieved. Obtain the soul power of that world.

Note: The host's strength will be sealed. Must achieve extraordinary accomplishments with an ordinary soul.]

Now Yusei was puzzled, 'So for the second mission, I had to complete the task in the state of an ordinary person?'
