However, it must be said that when Tsukuyomi ascended, the earth deities all received blessings and favor to varying degrees.
Princess Kaguya simply smiled faintly upon hearing Kanako's words and didn't say much more. Her father and mother's benevolence towards others was not her benevolence, and her parents' power and influence were not her power and influence. So, she didn't dwell much on Kanako's statement.
But seeing Kanako's embarrassed expression, Princess Kaguya didn't make things too difficult for her and asked considerately, "Have you encountered any difficulties recently?"
Seeing the Princess inquire, Kanako was delighted and quickly said, "To be frank, I do have a matter on which I seek Your Highness's assistance this time."
"I have a sister, a god born from a spirit frog. She seems to have found... her loved one in the outside world. But as you know, Your Highness, after that calamity, very few gods survived. For her loved one to suddenly appear now, I fear it might be a [God-Stealer]. Therefore, I wish to request Princess Kaguya's help."
"A God-Stealer?" Princess Kaguya, who resided permanently in the Eientei, was unfamiliar with the term.
Seeing her lack of knowledge, Kanako quickly explained the concept of God-Stealers to Princess Kaguya, just as she had to Suwako.
Hearing about God-Stealers, Princess Kaguya frowned slightly. She truly hadn't known such evil humans existed in the outside world.
"Humans possessing Divine Power? You want me to intervene and help?"
Kanako quickly shook her head, "I wouldn't dare trouble Your Highness personally. I merely wish to request that you dispatch a few subordinates to assist."
"I see." Princess Kaguya nodded thoughtfully, though inwardly she felt somewhat troubled.
Actually, she had already made a decision about whether to help this god or not.
Before hearing about [God-Stealers], she was rather indifferent… leaning towards not helping. But after learning about these evil humans, she felt inclined to eradicate them.
However, humans wielding Divine Power were not weaklings to be casually slaughtered. Purifying them would require some effort.
The strongest combatant currently in the Eientei was Eirin Yagokoro. But troubling Eirin with such a matter seemed like overkill.
She herself did not wish to go outside, preferring to stay home.
After some thought, she looked at the Moon Rabbit Reisen, who was standing obediently to the side.
"Reisen, you go."
"Yes," Reisen replied immediately.
Kanako, sitting across from Kaguya, frowned slightly. She cautiously said, "Your Highness, the strength of God-Stealers lies in their ability to use Divine Power. Although that power is far inferior to the god's true self, the power system is the same."
Her meaning was quite clear: she believed Reisen's strength was unsuitable for engaging in combat with a God-Stealer.
Princess Kaguya smiled upon hearing this but didn't comment. Instead, she stood up.
"Come with me."
Kanako quickly rose as well, and along with Reisen, followed behind Kaguya.
Princess Kaguya led the way to a warehouse that looked like it hadn't been tidied in a long time.
When the warehouse door opened, dust flew, causing all three to cough.
Kanako wondered why Princess Kaguya had brought them here, but her eyes widened when she saw the contents inside.
The items inside were covered in dust, but divine power circulated over them, shining brilliantly. Even the dust couldn't conceal their powerful auras.
A warehouse full of divine artifacts, supreme treasures… each one either a divine artifact or a precious treasure, every item famous and recorded in history.
Princess Kaguya, holding her delicate nose with one hand and lifting her skirt hem with the other, muttered something under her breath.
She went inside the warehouse, rummaged around, and finally found a long sword buried under a pile of divine artifacts.
The long sword was wreathed in white clouds, with silvery light flowing along its blade.
The moment Kanako saw it, she felt a sharp, piercing aura assault her senses.
Just looking at this sword gave her the feeling that she could be slain at any moment… terrifying!
Without a doubt, this was a [Steel] sword, possessing absolute suppression and authority to slay earth and serpent gods.
Judging by the degree of suppression this sword exerted on her, Kanako had already guessed its origin.
The next moment, Princess Kaguya smiled and casually tossed the sword in her hand to Reisen.
"This should ensure success. I remembered it was here, I wasn't mistaken."
Kanako, watching Reisen examine the long sword, asked in a low voice, "Your Highness, is this the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi?"
"Mhm, correct. It's my father's sword. With this, dealing with the God-Stealer outside shouldn't be a problem, right?"
"With the sword of the Great God Susano'o, slaying a mere God-Stealer is naturally no problem," Kanako said respectfully.
"In that case, you may go. I will have Reisen accompany you until the God-Stealer is slain."
"Reisen, did you hear that?" Kaguya looked at Reisen.
Reisen, holding the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, quickly nodded, assuring her she would complete the task.
Kanako bid farewell to the Eientei and left the Bamboo Forest of the Lost with Reisen.
For Reisen, leaving the Bamboo Forest was routine, as she often went to the human village for shopping, so it wasn't strange for her.
Bringing Reisen back to the Moriya Shrine on Youkai Mountain, Kanako found Suwako.
Suwako was already growing impatient, eager to go to the outside world.
Seeing her sister's state, Kanako couldn't help but smile wryly. She instructed Sanae briefly, then prepared to take Suwako and Reisen to the outside world.
…
The Outside World.
After spending a warm night at home with Asuna, Yusei prepared to leave the main world the next day. The main reason was his urgency to obtain greater power.
His return to this world for a brief period of daily life was partly to spend time with his family and partly to hone the power of his Rinnegan.
Now that he had a decent grasp of the Rinnegan's power, Yusei planned to go to another world to undertake the [Path to Godhood] mission.
Early in the morning, Yusei intended to go to Gensokyo to see Yukari and Hina, to check on Hina's condition.
Yesterday, he had made arrangements for everyone else, and only Hina and Athena remained.
Actually, Yusei had considered whether he could bring Athena to the new world. After all, Athena was his god servant, so she should be able to accompany him.
However, looking at the mission details from the System, it didn't specify whether Athena could be brought along. But regardless of whether it was possible or not, he still needed to spend some intimate time with Athena before leaving.
