The body of young Adriel lay on the ground. The night was torture for him, as he was unable to sleep, and not having his technology began to torment him.
"Aggg, I want my headphones," he thought, half asleep. In his daily life on Earth, he was addicted to listening to music, but it was impossible to listen to it in this new world.
"I haven't slept at night for two days. At this rate, I'll turn into a bat." Adriel stood up. After practicing yesterday, he had lain down on the soft grass.
The boy stretched his arms and legs and twisted with a single movement, then turned to look at Elena, who was sitting at the foot of a tree, softly humming a song.
Elena noticed Adriel in a short time, their eyes met, but Elena looked at him with a small smile, then looked thoughtful, but shrugged and continued to look at Adriel with a smile.
"What's on my face?" Adriel asked authoritatively.
"Hmmm... it's not something on your face." Elena put her index finger near her mouth. "Your hair is white in some areas, you could say it's 50/50 between black and white, but it looks... great." With that, the woman tilted her body to the left, presenting herself seductively.
Adriel reacted by lowering his hair, covering his eyes with it. As he did so, he noticed several black and white strands. With that, Adriel grabbed his head and became agitated. "Calm down, you don't want to end up like Kaneki, or like Saitama from pulling your hair so much," Adriel thought to himself, forcing himself to relax.
He began to pace around to relieve his nervousness, which dissipated after ten minutes.
Adriel inhaled and exhaled, then went to the shore and looked at his reflection. His face had sharper features, whereas in the past he had had plumper features. His hair, a change already noticed, was full of gray hairs, which had grown in a single day.
He lifted his shirt to see that his torso had large muscles, unlike before, when he had been a large ball of fat.
"All in four days." Adriel felt like he was looking at another person. Drastic changes in a short period of time leave you feeling completely out of place, something Adriel felt to the core.
Adriel cautiously approached Amara to see her. The girl hadn't changed much; she was still small and her hair was black, as was her skin, although it was more cinnamon-colored than anything else.
Then he saw Kael, who still had curly hair, somewhat long, and his body had become more toned, but he was still recognizable.
He looked at each of his friends, all a little different. From a personal point of view, he had changed dramatically. 'Now that I think about it, Amara had a different eye color yesterday. I guess that makes two of us.'
Adriel looked thoughtfully to the south. Beyond the cliff was a huge mountain. Even though it was hundreds of miles away, it seemed to be at the same level as where they were.
Finishing his thoughts, Adriel went to the werewolf's corpse, which had not disappeared, just to take some meat to roast and taste. 'Elena wasn't feeling well this morning, so it's good to eat this,' Adriel thought as he headed into the forest to look for sticks.
Adriel went a little way into the forest, partly to look for sticks and partly to relax with the gentle scent of nature.
Suddenly, a heavy aura terrified Adriel, who drew his scythe as he felt that danger was about to attack him imminently.
The figure of a person with bird-like features appeared, their hair covering their entire head in a blue-black color, along with a bird's beak and a tail full of colorful feathers.
"Give us the girls in your group." "What a contemptuous tone," Adriel thought as he turned to look at it.
"Pheasant, why would I give them to you?" Adriel asked solemnly as he stood guard.
"Because that's how you'll survive," replied the Pheasant with icy calm.
A cold weapon was placed against Adriel's neck, a dagger much longer than his scythe was next to his neck.
Before he could even react, his clothes were cut; a beastly precision quickly cut most of Adriel's shirt.
"This should make it clear to you," said the Pheasant as he put away his dagger. "You have two days to think about it. On the third day, we will go to your camp and kill them," said the Pheasant in a serious and somber tone.
'I only see the Pheasant, but he speaks in the plural, which means he doesn't have the class that is manipulating us, and there is someone else by his side,' thought Adriel, knowing that his chances of defeating the Pheasant were extremely slim.
I should sneak up on him and kill him with one well-aimed blow, but with my current abilities, he'll be able to react and pierce my head. The thought in his mind was fleeting, but real.
"I have an attractive woman that I'm willing to..."
"No, a succubus is no use to us." The pheasant interrupted him in less than a heartbeat.
Adriel opened his mouth, planning to ask why, but the pheasant beat him to it. "Succubi have an ability that makes them infertile. Even without that ability, their race is too infertile. Of all the types of inhabitants I know, succubi are the worst at reproducing."
Adriel felt enormous disgust, but he suppressed that emotion. "I'll think about it." "You won't be alive in a few days." Adriel's thoughts and words did not match in the slightest.
He carefully took a few steps back, then watched as the Pheasant made his weapon disappear. Responding to his gesture, Adriel also made his weapon disappear, withdrawing from the conflict.
Once he was away, he looked at his hand. 'Put down the sticks,' he thought desperately.
