That evening,Fred got back to his house looking so handsome with his good looking clothes.As he opened the door to enter the sitting room he walked towards his room.As he was going to his room Elizabeth quickly came out of the kitchen to block him.
"Where are you coming from?"Elizabeth spoke.
"I am coming from my brother's office.I went to ask him why he have refused to sponsor our wedding and why he have also refused to send money for my business"Fred was looking frustrated and hurt not really because Daniel have refused to help him but because Susan and Daniel are getting closer to each other.
Elizabeth looked at him from hair to toe and said"it's that why you are dressed in this very beautiful clothes?,I can see you bought this clothes because they were never in your wardrobe and they have never being in this house".
"Yes I bought them,is anything the problem?"Fred was looking angry at what Elizabeth was saying.The question was disturbing to Fred.
"So you bought new clothes to look so good for a man?is that what you mean"
"Elizabeth stop asking me stupid questions,I don't have time for all this"he spoke angrily with a louder voice.
"You are shouting because you are already feeling guilty of what you are doing,ever since I have known you I have never seen you looking this good.You even made your hair to look nice"Elizabeth spoke as she stood in front of Fred to block him.
"I am not guilty of anything Elizabeth,I was just doing what I felt like doing"
"That is a lie,you are actually doing it for Susan.From the very first day I told you to kill Susan I knew you still loved her when you told me that we should not do anything to her"
Fred was already tired of the argument,he wanted to go to the room to pull of his clothes and sleep but Elizabeth was deliberately blocking him.
"Can you let me pass before I lose my temper"Fred spoke to Elizabeth.
"You are not going anywhere,untill you answer me unless I will leave this house for you"Elizabeth's face was looking serious as she was demanding for explanation.
"Elizabeth,I don't love Susan,you have to believe me".
"Why will I believe you,from the first day you discovered that Susan was dating Daniel you have become emotionally distant towards me.We don't have sex like before,we don't go out together like before "
"But we did last week Saturday you can remember,and today is Monday.Elizabeth I still love you,even if we don't do all this like before it's because of the bad news I got from Daniel about him not sponsoring our wedding and my business.I have been so disturbed by that news ever since then and It have been affecting every aspect of my life."Fred spoke as he held her waist with one of his hand.
"But why did you dress by putting on new clothes,who are you trying to impress,tell me the truth"Elizabeth eyes deepened and narrowed as she was determined to know what was in Fred's heart.
"Darling I am not trying to impress anybody,I only did all this because I wanted Daniel to think that I have changed.This is because he complained about me living a reckless life and wasting his money on clubbing, drinking and other things.So I dressed like this to make him feel that I am taking care of myself"Fred lied.
Elizabeth paused for 2 seconds,she felt relieved a bit,she felt that Fred was saying the truth but she still suspected lies because Fred wearing new clothes could still prove that he is truely wasteful to Daniel.
"But I thought your mom is rich,can't you meet her for financial assistance for our wedding?"Elizabeth asked.
"No,I can't because she hates me,I stole from her a lot of the times"his eyes close for a seconds in regret as he was talking.
"Alright but who must have feed Daniel with all these lies?I know it will be that fool that calls herself Susan"Elizabeth used her hands to wrap around Fred's neck as she smiles a lot bit in relief."We are going out again this coming weekend and this time it will be to party at the beach through the day"
Fred was not satisfied with Elizabeth's plans but he manage to to agree.
"Elizabeth, people are saying all manner of bad things against us in the in the public because of what happened between us and Susan in the past"Fred was looking so worried and concerned.
"I know,that is why I have changed my name in some of my documents.We have forget about the past.I know that as Susan is dating Daniel the billionaire, everything about her past will be known to the public.She will tell people about how I slept with her ex boyfriend.I will deal with Susan by by destroying her relationship with Daniel and making her look evil in the public".
"Hmm,last week Tuesday someone even approached me to tell me what he have been hearing about us,I felt bad".
"Don't worry darling,I will turn everything around for our favour by planning to destroy Susan ".
Fred was not really happy with what Elizabeth said because he still deeply love Susan but he tried to pretend.
Back at Susan's house Susan began to weep when she got to Vivian's house.She was actually weeping because Veronica claimed to be pregnant for Daniel.This made her to also remember how her mother called her a harlot.She was sitting on her bed in the guest room alone.As Susan was weeping Vivian began to knock at the door.Susan cleaned her tears before she opened the door.
"Why are you looking sad Susan"Vivian asked as Susan opened the door for her.
Her face was still looking swollen and her eyes was reddish even though she tried to hide her tears.
"My Sick dieing mother called me a harlot because she suspected that I was sleeping with my boss"
"Why will she say that to her own child,look Susan you need to forget about the past and move on"Vivian used her hand to cuddle Susan as she began to pet her.She said"Sorry, don't worry I am hear for you".
Immediately her phone received two messages at different minutes.
The first one was from Daniel who she loved.The message read"my Darling,i know you are heart broken right now because Veronica claimed to be pregnant for me and she also claim to have sex with me.I want you to know that it is a lie.veronica is only desperate to have me by all means.I love you with all my heart.my mom is in the hospital because she never wanted us to love each other,but I will still love you.Even though everyone is against me dating you,I will still love and date you.You are forever mine".
After reading the message,Susan felt cold inside of her,she felt goosebumps all over her body.The mountain of doubt in her heart was gradually dissolved.She felt the warm touch of Daniel all over her even in his absence.She smiled.Her pain, rejection and hurt was greatly reduced.
