Daniel was still Afraid of telling people about his relationship with Susan because she is a secretary and people will wonder why he rejected a rich actress and choose to date an ordinary secretary.His major fear was treat from his mother.

"I am not surprised, because I suspected you that day when you made that secret call in the test room at our family house.I know it's your secretary is susan.let me tell you her mother Kate was a prostitute.So if you like you disgrace yourself.I am very disappointed at you"she kept weeping in tears
"It's a lie,I never did that.why are you crying?"he tried to defend himself as he felt ashamed"

"What did you just say?mom had an heart attack "he panicks as he place one of his hand on his head.
"You heard me right,she is at the general hospital,after all mom have done for you,this is what you are paying her with"she continued in tears as she ended the call.
Daniel's world turned upside down,he became frustrated.He quickly ran to the hospital the next day to check up on his mother.He drove to the hospital that evening.As he entered the hospital he met the doctor whose name was Williams.
"Good evening, please I am Alexander Daniel,I am here to see my mom"he spoke in panick,fear and tension.
"Good evening Mr Alexander,let me take you to where she is"The doctor named Williams was speaking to Daniel.
When he got there he saw his mom lieing on the sick bed,her eyes were both closed.immediately his heart beat increased the more.
He asked"Doctor please how is my mother's health,hope she is not dead"
"No,she just fainted but she will recover soon"
"Okay doctor ".
Daniel saw both Christiana his sister and Andrew his brother as they were both sited in the room.The both gave him an unwelcomed looked because they felt he was the cause of the problem.
Daniel sat by the side of his mother's sick bed,he was thinking of how his life had turned upside down in the twinkle of an eye.He is gradually falling in love with his secretary,the woman who he initial planned causal sex with and now it has cost him his mother's life.The public have known about his relationship with Susan.He now feels shameful.His eyes became swollen in tears.After two hours he spoke to his mom as she was unconsciously lieing on the sick bed.
"M...mo..mom,I love you with my heart,I never planned to hurt you or put you to shame,right now I am going through deep confusion.Veronica that I am supposed to be getting married to is treating me badly,I tried to endure but it's not easy at all.I promise not to hurt you within my power".He held her hand and kissed it.
"You hypocrite,you claim to love mom but you went to sleep with your secretary "Christiana spoke as she looked at him in great anger.
Daniel got angry and left the room.
After sometime he paid the doctor and left the hospital.
That night Daniel drove home.when he got home he took a show,made spaghetti and ate.The he lied down on the bed in deep frustration and confusion.His eyes were already red.He spoke to himself in his mind "what have I done to myself,the shame,the hurt,and the confusion.I am in love with my secretary and because of that my mom is lying down in the hospital".
He went to his mini bar in his sitting room and took a bottle of whiskey and a cup.He began to drink to stupor u till he was drunk.
After 40mins at 12:34pm Veronica called while he was already drunk,she called him up to 20 times but he didn't any of the call.
