After Harry and McGonagall left olavanders they decided to head for florish and blots to acquire the needed books, while they travelled to the book store McGonagall couldn't stop thinking about the events in the wand shop and olavanders parting words and would occasionally sneak a glance at Harry who was walking completely unperturbed from the events, once Harry and McGonagall entered the book store she had Harry get the needed school books for hogwarts alon with a few book that caught Harry's eye like Spellman's syllabary and Ancient Runes Made Easy these books caught Harry's eye based on what McGonagall had said a bit ago about the courses at hogwarts it was apparently a 3rd year elective class and perhaps he might find some uses for them in his creations.
After collecting the needed books Harry decided he was not good to do the red on his own and told McGonagall as much, though McGonagall wasn't very open to letting Harry get his things on his own she eventually relented knowing it was not her choice if Harry wanted to do his shopping on his own. McGonagall did ask Harry how he planned to go back to the Dursleys and only got the response that he already had a way even though McGonagall didn't want to she eventually did leave and left Harry to do the rest of his shopping by himself after all she did have a lot of muggle borns to show the magical world to.
After McGonagall had left Harry quickly made his way to a hidden corner where plush trap appeared after a moment "what have you found out so far" Harry asked the small animatronic, plush trap happily responded "I have found some interesting information like there is a alley I think would be prefect for our needs, they call it nocturne alley a place for dark or poor wizards to live and shop they said it was not very odd for some people to go missing in there"
Harry was now very interested in this alley but first he would get all his supplies so he wouldn't need to deal with the larger crowds that tend to show up closer to the deadline, quickly having plush trap activate his stealth he went back to his shopping deciding to get some clothes since he was still wearing a Dudley's cast offs and a jacket from one of his previous kills he headed to madam Malkin's robes for all occasions.
Entering the shop he was quickly seated by madam Malkin and had to correct her when she said miss the look of disbelief on her face was actually kinda funny to Harry and he decided to hide that he male for a bit just to surprise people and get the funny reactions, Harry got the school robes and also got a few others like a white robe with purple accents, a black robe also with purple accents, a set of black gloves mainly to match he growing astetic and a white non-winter cloak after all a cloak always made you look good, Harry would have to collect most his stuff in a few days while they were getting fitted.
Leaving madam Malkins Harry headed to the trunks shop he definitely wasn't going to try carrying all his stuff on him plus from what he was told the shrinking charm on the books didn't last long upon entering he immediately set about for a trunk eventually he found a trunk he liked it had 3 compartments the first being a storage area for things like potion supplies the next a wardrobe room to store clothes and finally his most favorite area a small work shop room the attendant said was for stuff like wood carving artifact tinkering and other such things, after buying the trunk Harry headed off to get the other things needed from the list such as the cauldron from Portage's cauldron shop Harry a bought a basic but relatively high quality cauldron and then headed to the apothecary where he got his school set of potion supplies and another set for any experiments he decides to do or just in case, after all he doubts he would be able to get the materials for any animatronics at a school especially a school with magic that he has yet to understand in terms of power.
After getting his supplies and deciding to skip the pet as he had his friends already, Harry headed to the leaky cauldron where he got a room till the train's departure day. On the next day Harry decided to do a bit of adventuring in the alley though he first made a stop a gringots to pull more money he doubted the current funds he had was enough. After leaving gringots Harry then walked around the alley most people still didn't know who he really was and most just stared due to his looks, after wandering the alley for a bit and getting a few more books that after being shrunk he put into his pocket Harry decided to finally check the dark alley most normal wizards and witches seemed to avoid at all costs he casually pulled and concealed his knife he wasn't about to walk into a dangerous alley without some kind of weapon and had plush trap scout ahead, walking a little ways into the alley plush trap returned and told Harry there was a fight a bit way down the alley.
Harry sent plush trap ahead and used his shared vision to watch the fight from a safe distance there was three cloaked figures firing spells at 2 others also cloaked he heard some small snipits about a deal and back stabbing so apparently it was a deal gone wrong not very surprising given what he has heard of the area. Harry decided to just watch from the side lines through plush trap rather than intervene and after a couple minutes of back and forth eventually the three cloaked figures one though one seemed to have died and another was badly injured seeing the opportunity presented of a single lone figure still able to fight and no other people around apparently they decided it was better to not get involved Harry told plush trap to removed the last survivor and take anything he might find valuable from the bodies.
