Surprisingly, Clover found herself telling Kelly everything, she left little to nothing out.
Instead of judgement, Kelly looked at her with kind eyes and a look that showed respect towards Clover.
"I'm sure you think I'm weird or crazy." Clover said with a sad smile at the end.
"Not at all. I think you're the strongest and most badass person in the world. The part where you stabbed him with the knife, I love it. I love the fact that you grew up from this scared little daddy's girl to this awesome strong girl that doesn't let her past change her." Tears welled up in Clover's eyes for some reason.
"I see someone great. You have been raped, abused and the emotional trauma you've been through alone. I don't think most people would have chosen to stay alive till now. " She placed her hand on Clover's shoulder.
"Don't worry in the future, we'll give him that painful death you promised him. I don't mind going to hell with you." Kelly's last sentence made Clover chuckle heartily.
"Now stop being such a crybaby, the little ones are coming." Kelly removed a handkerchief from her back and wiped Clover's tears.

Kelly had stayed over till it was late in the evening. Levi had just gotten back from work and she was lucky enough to meet him before she left.
"Hey, Levi!" Clover greeted him with a smile.
"How are you today? How was school?" He finally noticed the presence of another person.
"I'm alright. School was great." Clover noticed his questioning gaze.
"This is my friend, Kelly. Kelly, this is Levi." Levi smiled at them.
"I'm happy you made a friend on your first day of school."
"Ohh.. I didn't just meet her today. I and Kelly go way back, she was my classmate in my previous school."
"That's really nice. But it's getting late, I don't like the idea of you going home all alone this night." He was concerned about Kelly's safety.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry." Kelly said with a smile.
"Take care of yourself, Clover. I've written down my telephone number and my phone number. We'll have to get you a phone so that we can chat also." Clover's eyes gleamed.
"Really?!"
"Totally! You're free this Saturday?" Clover nodded in excitement.
"Bye guys!!" And with that she entered her car and drove off.
"If I may ask, what was the name of your previous school again?"
"You wouldn't know it. It's not very popular outside of California. It's one fancy private school like that." Clover said casually like it was nothing.
"Explains the rich kid vibes." He was referring to Kelly.
"Have you guys made dinner?" Levi sat on the couch, stretching his leg a little.
"Well... No. Kelly ordered some food for us."
"She's awfully generous." Levi said.
"To some people. She's not as friendly as you'd think." Clover sat down next to him.
"Very much expected. People like her shouldn't be overly generous or they would take advantage of her." He didn't pat her head like he usually did rather he placed his hand over shoulder, closing the space between them.
"I can tell she's going to be an amazing friend."
"Will you think of me as a monster if I killed my father?" Clover asked suddenly.
"No." He answered simply.
She turned to look at him, surprised by his answer. The moment their eyes met, she found her heart racing.
"Why?" She asked.
"I think I saw this somewhere, I can't really remember where I saw or heard it. Monster's aren't born, they're made. To be realistic, he caused you so much pain, you went through a lot because of him." She stared intensely at him, although they broke eye contact several times because he looked away to think as he spoke.
"I feel it's totally normal to make him feel the same way you felt." He cupped her face suddenly, making her heart race even more.
"But I believe that the best way to make him suffer is to let him live. Then, he'll see how great the person he almost ruined has become. That would be the greatest torture of all." He said with a smile.
He felt this moment was too intimate, so he let her go and headed to the kitchen.

Her first week in school wasn't bad at all. Although she talked to other people but she was closer to Kelly.
Saturday came and Kelly came over to pick Clover up for a little outting.
Kelly's horn worked as an alarm in waking Clover up.
"You do know this is 7:30am?" Clover said with a frown on her face as she stood by the front door.
"And so what?" Kelly asked, coming out of the car.
"It's Saturday." Clover said, glaring daggers at her.
"Take a chill pill, girl!" Kelly said, ignoring the death stares Clover was giving her.
"At this point I can assume you're on some kind of hard drugs. Maybe Nicotine."
"Isn't Nicotine for pain?" Kelly walked into the house after making sure her car was locked.
"I don't know. I'm not a drug dealer." Clover walked in after her and then shut the front door.
"Okay, I apologize for waking you up from your sleep instead of letting you sleep till your handsome prince gives you a kiss after hundred years." Clover rolled her eyes. That was more of an insult rather than an apology.
"Why are you here so early? I at least expected you by 10." Kelly sat down on the couch.
"Do you know chic and cliques?" A perplexed expression appeared on Clover's face.
"What the hell is that?"
"It's one of the hottest shopping mall for girls..."
"Great! Another place girls would waste their time and their boyfriend's money on." Kelly said with a sarcasm laced voice.
"You're such a wet blanket."
"That's called reckless spending. You need to use money responsibly." Clover retorted.
"I'm not poor, duhhh." Kelly said in a matter of fact kinda way. Those her last words felt like she was throwing dirt on Clover's face, but Clover knew she wasn't saying it to make her feel bad or anything.
"You'll be well respected if you wear quality items."
"So, the people that wear can't afford it, what happens to them?"
"You should be in the debate team." Kelly saw that this argument would go nowhere between them.
"Anyways.. just go and shower let's head out, the place opens by 9." Clover just sighed helplessly and started heading towards the kitchen.
"That's not the direction of your room." Kelly said to Clover's surprise. Although Kelly's eyes were on her phone.
"I want to make breakfast." Clover shouted from the kitchen.
"I brought food from my house, it's in the car."
"You don't give up, do you?" Clover said, coming out of the kitchen.
"Nope." Kelly answered, her eyes still on her phone.
