Mitsuko woke up to a faint sound in her ears. She shifted on her bed, trying to get up, but suddenly fell to the floor.
Mitsuko: "I don't remember. I have a bed that's high off the floor..."
She tried to get up, but her feet felt unsteady. She began to stumble around the room, trying to reach the light switch. She bumped into everything in her path, from chairs to a small, cluttered table.
Mitsuko: "I don't remember having so many things here..."
After several staggering steps, she finally reached the supposed location of the light switch, but was surprised to find it wasn't there.
Mitsuko: "The light switch was here... Where did it go?"
She felt a bit confused as she stood in the dark, contemplating what was happening.
In the darkness of the room, Mitsuko stumbled, trying to find the light switch. Her fingers reached the wall, and after many attempts, she finally found the switch.
She pressed it, and the light came on, revealing a completely foreign room. The walls were different, the furniture was unfamiliar, and everything seemed to belong in another world. Her eyes widened in horror, and a sharp scream rose from deep within her, but she stopped abruptly when she realized that her voice... wasn't her own.
"Why is my voice so deep?!" she muttered in confusion, placing a hand over her throat. A strange feeling swept over her, a frightening thought beginning to form in her mind.
"Could it be... that I've been kidnapped? But how? Did they take me from my room while I slept?!"
Mitsuko began pacing back and forth, her heart pounding wildly. But she wasn't prepared for what happened next.
The door suddenly opened, and Lumiya appeared, her expression a mixture of worry and annoyance.
"Brother, what's wrong? Why are you screaming?"
Mitsuko froze, her eyes fixed on Lumiya.
"Brother?" she repeated the word slowly, as if she hadn't understood it.
She looked down at her body, her hand trembling as it touched her chest, her arms, and everything else.
"Where is my chest?!" she cried, taking a step back. A strange feeling overcame her, but she couldn't resist her curiosity. With faltering steps, she approached the mirror hanging in the corner.
What she saw was like a nightmare. Her reflection in the mirror wasn't hers. It was a man's.
"What is this?!" she cried, placing her hands over her face, feeling her new features.
"I... I'm in a man's body!" she said, her voice choked, as if trying to grasp the impossible truth.
Mitsuko, as strange as the situation was, had entered Yakuya's body, and she didn't know how or why. All she felt was a whirl of shock and fear.
One day earlier
Mitsuko woke up to a faint sound in her ears. She moved on her bed, trying to get up, but suddenly she fell to the floor.

"What is this?!" she cried, placing her hands over her face, feeling her new features.
"I... I'm in a man's body!" she said, her voice choked, as if trying to comprehend the impossible truth.
Mitsuko, as strange as the situation was, had entered Yakuya's body, and she didn't know how or why. All she felt was a whirl of shock and fear.
Lumiya asked in surprise, "Brother, are you okay? You look strange today." Mitsuko looked at her, and she composed herself, trying to adapt to the situation. Lumiya continued, "Brother, I'm hungry. Are you going to make breakfast?"
Mitsuko froze, thinking, "I'm making breakfast. I've never made food in my life." She tried to respond calmly, "Yes... I'll make it right away."
Mitsuko walked out of the room, bumping into everything. She wasn't used to cramped apartments, but rather spacious houses. "Damn, everything is strange here." She entered the kitchen and was surprised to find it arranged in a strange way, not like her grandmother's.
During breakfast, she felt everything around her was strange. Yakuya's father was saying some words to her, but Mitsuko, in Yakuya's body, responded slowly and hesitantly. Her words were strange and unfamiliar. "What should I say? How should I act?" Mitsuko thought as she silently chewed her food.
A short while later, she went to school, but fear gripped her. How would she interact with Yakuya's classmates? When she arrived at school, everything seemed different. Her classmates were staring at her, perhaps sensing something strange about her actions, but she couldn't explain what was happening. She was trying to act normal, but she felt like she didn't belong there.
At school, she had a different schedule than usual. Classes were boring, but what surprised her was how much more serious Yakuya treated his classmates than usual. Everyone knew him well, and he seemed respected among his peers, but Mitsuko couldn't interact with them the way Yakuya did. She avoided conversations, thinking she might give herself away if she talked too much.
After school, she had to go to work part-time. It was a completely new experience for her, as Yakuya worked at a local café. When she arrived, she looked at the café staff who knew Yakuya. Mitsuko tried to act like she was in his shoes, thinking how she should behave normally in this context.
"How can I work here? How does this place work?" she wondered as she tidied up the place and greeted customers. Even one of the customers who initially saw her seemed strange, but then returned a little later and said with a smile, "You've changed today, Yakuya. Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine," Mitsuko replied, trying to remain calm. But she felt even more tense; this was completely different from anything she was used to. She was trying to emulate Yakuya's actions, but she was feeling mentally and physically exhausted.
Later that day, Mitsuko decided to go home, where Yakuya's father was waiting for her. She felt a mounting pressure. How would she cope? Would she be able to complete the day in Yakuya's body? She felt like she was playing a role in a strange play, and that every step she took was a kind of social suicide.
She returned home at the end of the day, completely exhausted. It had been a long and challenging day, but she'd learned one thing: life in Yakuya's body wasn't easy. She wished she could return to her own body again, but so far, there was no solution. "What should I do?" She thought as she closed the door to her room behind her and ate some food before going to sleep.
At that moment, she felt a sense of relief, as if the day was finally over. But she couldn't forget that she was in someone else's body.
After a long and confusing day in someone else's body, Mitsuko felt extremely tired. Her mind was completely clouded by the strange experience she had just had. As she sat up in bed at the end of the day, she suddenly felt something strange about her body, as if something inside her was shifting.
"What's happening?" she whispered to herself, as she began to feel things shift rapidly. A few moments passed, and in the blink of an eye, Mitsuko was back in her original body.
"Is this... is this real?" She coughed in confusion as she touched her face, feeling the familiar features. She inhaled deeply, as if she had come back to life.
She felt as if she had fully regained her identity, but the confusion and tension didn't disappear. There were moments of silence in the room as the scattered memories of that strange experience of living an entire day in someone else's body gathered.
"I've had a very strange day," she said quietly, heading to her mirror to make sure everything was okay. There were feelings of surprise and confusion, but with each passing moment, a sense of relief began to return.
Although she had no explanation for what had happened, Mitsuko felt like she was back to normal, at least for now.
Yakuya returned to his body, completely exhausted. He sat on his bed, breathing deeply, trying to process what had happened. His day had been incredibly strange, even stranger than the first day he'd lived in that girl's body.
"This second time... what's going on?" he muttered to himself, placing his hands on his head. He felt physically and mentally exhausted, especially after living an entire day in a body he knew nothing about.
Yakuya stood up and began to pace around his room, trying to recall everything that had happened. He remembered school, the awkward moments he'd faced when he had to answer her friends' questions, and how he'd had to deal with things he knew nothing about. Then the part-time job, where he'd felt like a stranger in a place teeming with customers.
"But who is she?" he wondered aloud, recalling the details of her daily life he'd discovered while in her body. "Her life isn't what I expected... it's full of things I don't understand."
He sat on the chair next to his desk, opened his notebook, and began writing down what he remembered of his day in her body, trying to understand what was happening. "This can't just be a dream... It's very real. And I'm sure that girl lived in my body, too."
Yakuya thought for a moment about every detail he'd noticed: the way the girls spoke to her, the cluttered room, and even the grandmother, who seemed both kind and concerned. "She lived my life too, didn't she? Did she feel the same confusion I did?"
He stood up and looked in the mirror, as if to confirm that he was truly back in his body. "There must be a reason behind this. This isn't a coincidence."
He smiled wryly. "If this happens again... I'll make sure to find out who that girl is, and why we're connected in this strange way."
