Ok this is just a filler chapter. There is nothing much going on here but just a narration of an entire year on how Damon earned money and finally was able to control 49 stars.
There is no story progression so Don't read it if you don't want to.

"Sigh, what a hectic day," Damon thought to himself as he collapsed onto his bed. He had just returned from Hangzhou to Shanghai, leaving Mo Fan and Tang Yue behind.
Ding!
A notification sounded from his phone. An unknown number had sent him a message.
"If you even utter a single word of what happened today, I will kill you."
Looking at the message, Damon didn't even need to guess who it belonged to.
"Don't worry, Miss Tang Yue. I don't kiss and tell," Damon replied reflexively. Honestly, he was no stranger to Tang Yue. Though she wasn't of the same elite class as Mo Fan, she was still a Fire Element talent whom Tang Yue had taught back in Bo City.
So Damon was familiar with Tang Yue, but he had never spoken to her informally.
"You!"
Looking at Damon's reply, Tang Yue was furious, blushing with embarrassment and anger.
"How dare you talk to your teacher like this?" Tang Yue texted, to which Damon just chuckled and responded.
"A teacher doesn't harass a student like you did, Miss Tang Yue."
"Honestly, I was quite surprised to see you there. Never expected to meet you again in such a wild way."
Sitting up straight, Damon looked at the text he had sent. Honestly, it was the first time he had behaved and texted like this, and a new sense of excitement rushed through his veins.
"I went there for the Fire Spirit, but never expected you to battle there—intermediate mage in two elements. Miss Tang Yue, honestly, what is your background?"
Changing the subject to lighten the mood, Damon sent the questions he wanted answered.
"..." For a moment there was silence before the text came. "I am a member of Magic Court's Enforcement Unit. In Bo City, I was sent there to investigate the activities of the Black Vatican. In Hangzhou, it was my mission to deal with the Demon you saw today."
Tang Yue answered honestly before texting her own message.
"That Fire Spirit you took was supposed to go to the Magic Court! I would deal with the matter only if you swear to not utter a single word of what happened today."
The message was a clear threat, to which Damon gave a mischievous smile.
"Property of the Magic Court?"
"Honestly, there was no name on the Fire Spirit when I took it. Are you sure?"
Damon decided to tease Tang Yue a little before shaking his head and letting it go.
"I would never speak of this matter again in the future. You can trust me, Miss."
"Hmph. Good."
"Remember, a judge of the Magic Court is allowed two chances to kill. Do you want me to use one of them on you?"
The clear threat came through the text, and Damon could feel the killing intent from Ms. Tang Yue as she sent the message.
With that, the chat ended, and Damon set his phone aside, letting himself drift into the dreamlands.

With the acquisition of the Flame Spirit, Damon's fire element now possessed twice the power it had before.
Practicing with the fire element and controlling the stars, Damon continued with his life.
In terms of knowledge, he now understood all of magic theory, fire elemental powers, and his comprehension of magic and the stars had literally skyrocketed.
Nowadays, Damon's focus, instead of magic theories and elemental control, was solely on a different subject: magic technology.
A subject equivalent to physics in this world. When Damon struggled with how to earn money, his mind turned to magic technology.
The world was more than a decade behind Damon's old world in terms of trends. The apps were all old-fashioned, with many territories in the digital world still unexplored.
Instagram, TikTok, and the apps from Damon's old world were yet to be made and developed. With ideas from the future and knowledge of success stories, Damon set his eyes on the digital world of this planet to amass wealth.
Studying diligently and learning the coding of this world, which was mostly the same as Damon's old world in terms of concepts, he began his work.
The first project Damon selected to make was Instagram—focusing on the social media market, which was dominated by outdated and limited apps.
Assimilating all the knowledge took Damon two months to earn eligibility to code the entire Instagram by himself.
Acquiring knowledge was one thing, but applying it practically was another. The Envy's Hand, which granted him the ability to perform anything at maximum potential, worked its wonder with Damon.
The knowledge he acquired could now be used to its fullest potential. His understanding of things and the way he handled code—and even his magic under Envy's power—reached an entirely new level.
With Envy's ability in magic, he could use even primary-rank magic in ways that looked like entirely new spells. Controlling concepts with the power of underlying mechanisms, Damon could manage shape, power, and efficiency at an outstanding level.
Four months were spent coding the entire app from scratch, creating all original components with features from 2025 Instagram. He registered the company, bought infrastructure to host it, and completed all legalities.
The launch was a success, but even with advertisements, it was hard for Damon to attract traffic toward his app.
It wasn't until two months after the launch that a clip went viral, drawing attention to Instagram and finally hitting 1 million downloads.
Updates and maintenance were handled alone by Damon for days—a hectic period—before he finally began hiring others to share the workload.
Six months after the launch, downloads crossed 30 million as companies and investors flooded his inbox with acquisition offers.
"Sell it or not?" was a dilemma for Damon. He wanted to continue with Instagram, but he was a mage. The year he spent building and maintaining the app had already slowed his progress in controlling the stars.

Choosing between the two was difficult, but prioritizing his career as a mage, Damon steeled his mind to sell the app, though not entirely.
For 600 million dollars, he sold 90% of the shares, handing off authority to Facebook while remaining a shareholder earning annual profits.
With this, an entire year had passed. Damon became a multimillionaire, secured a future source of income, and finally reached intermediate rank, taking control of all 49 stars.
