Chapter 364 - Chapter 364: Communication

Sora spent this time mainly in Hueco Mundo, teaching his three new Hollow disciples.

Of the three, Grimmjow was the most motivated. Once his competitive spirit was sparked, he trained actively.

Ulquiorra often got lost in his own world, thinking about questions others found hard to answer.

But when Sora taught him, he would follow the instructions.

Starrk was the laziest. He had no drive to get stronger. If Sora wasn't watching him, he would definitely slack off.

"You mastered Ryūkō already?" Sora checked on Grimmjow, then changed the subject. "You were slower than Starrk, but it's good progress."

Even though they just started Zanjutsu, they had their own feel for Spiritual Pressure. They quickly learned Ryūkō, which is related to Spiritual Pressure blades.

Sora also taught them Shungeki and 'Senmai Oroshi' (Thousand Fillets). Their bodies were strong, so mastering the basics wasn't hard, but mastering them completely was.

This earned Sora an easy 90,000 General Experience.

"What!" Grimmjow heard his Professor say Starrk was faster and got upset. "I learned all those moves first! How am I slower?!"

"Starrk came later. He learned them in the shortest time," Ulquiorra said flatly.

"I just wasn't serious!"

Grimmjow decided to show them how scary he was when he tried.

"A competitive spirit is a good thing." Sora watched Grimmjow train hard and nodded.

Meanwhile, Starrk was sitting on a rock, resting.

"Your break is a bit long, Starrk." Sora used Shunpo to appear next to him and shook his head.

"It wasn't that long. Training is tiring. It's bad to get worn out," Starrk said weakly, as if he was exhausted.

"Not that long..." Lilynette mimicked him. "Only an hour!"

"Don't say that! It wasn't an hour!"

"Don't waste your talent, Starrk," Sora smiled. "I hope you don't lose too badly when Grimmjow comes to challenge you."

"What did the Professor tell that panther now?" Starrk thought about Grimmjow bugging him and his face fell. "Stop using me to motivate him!"

"We can't lose!" Lilynette pulled Starrk up. "Stop slacking and practice!"

Starrk sighed and got up to practice.

Just then, Sora's Soul Pager got a call from Akon.

"Captain, it's an emergency! Lieutenant Urahara has defected!"

"Defected? Kisuke Urahara?"

After activating the Soul Pager, Sora received a surprising message.

"He ran off with the Kuchiki lady and stole treasure from their vault! Squad 6 is after him. He's probably left Soul Society..."

"The Head-Captain also sent Lieutenant Chōjirō here to ask questions. He's at the SRDI right now!"

Akon explained what happened.

"Stall Lieutenant Chōjirō for me. I'll be right back."

Sora felt things were getting weird. How did Urahara get involved with the Kuchiki lady?

Back in Soul Society, Sora went straight to the SRDI.

"Sōsuke?"

Sora saw Sōsuke Aizen at the SRDI entrance. It wasn't a coincidence; he was waiting for him.

"Professor, I am here to apologize," Aizen said softly.

He didn't plan to hide it. The Professor had already seen Kyōka Suigetsu's hypnosis. He couldn't hide it.

"This Urahara thing... it's related to you?"

Sora raised an eyebrow. Aizen was clearly waiting to talk about Urahara.

"It is. I found out about Urahara and Kuchiki Aoba, so I... helped them." Aizen nodded.

"Helped? Urahara isn't stupid enough to defect for no reason. What part did you play?" Sora asked.

"Urahara was using Kuchiki Aoba to get the 'Soul King fragments' from the Kuchiki clan. I just brought it to light," Aizen explained.

"Urahara is also researching 'Soul King fragments'?" Sora raised an eyebrow.

"And his progress isn't slow. He can already make a Hōgyoku. I watched him. His method is different from ours, but similar." Aizen looked impressed.

Even with 'Soul King fragments', you can't just make a Hōgyoku.

The Tsunayashiro clan spent a lot on this research, but got nothing.

"He can already make one..." Sora scratched his face. He remembered Urahara complaining about being overworked at the SRDI. He must have been using that time for his own projects.

"Urahara is in Squad 12. I apologize for acting against him without your permission, Professor." Aizen looked sorry.

"You know I protect my own. You are my disciple. Urahara isn't part of the Katori-ryū, so I'll side with you."

"But..." Sora's eyes narrowed. "Remember, do not harm the Katori-ryū."

When he accepted him, he knew Aizen had strong initiative.

He's strong and has his own ideas. He will act.

But Sora felt as long as Aizen didn't cross a line, the benefits of having him as a disciple outweighed the risks.

Sora knew that Aizen had Urahara's Hōgyoku.

But Sora already had the fragments from the ancient Hollow, the Tsunayashiro, and the Shihōin. He had enough to make a complete Hōgyoku.

So he didn't need the one Aizen took.

Sora's 'Teacher System' was similar to Yhwach's ability.

The stronger the Quincy, the more power Yhwach reaps.

For Sora, the stronger his disciples, the stronger he gets.

He was counting on Aizen to reach the limit of a Shinigami, so he could complete the 'Path of Transcendence'.

"Of course. I will never forget that as your disciple, I will never harm the Katori-ryū," Aizen said, bowing.
