Chapter 70 - Chapter 70 – Monday Morning Madness

Jayjay's POV

If there's one thing Section E never runs out of, it's chaos — and this Monday morning proved it again.

It started so innocently. The classroom was quiet for once — too quiet.

David was half-asleep at the back, head resting on his arm, muttering,

"If you guys start your nonsense before nine, I'm moving to Section A…"

Felix whispered from behind me, trying not to laugh, "Perfect time for the prank."

I glanced at him. "You're actually doing it?"

He grinned. "Yup. Drew already set the fake spider."

The "victim"?

Ciel — poor, unsuspecting Ciel — who had just walked into the class, humming softly, still fixing her hair.

The spider dangled just right above her head, and Felix gave me the signal.

I pretended to said loudly. "hey ciel !"

She turned. "hey, Jay—"

And that's when she saw it.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Her scream nearly made my eardrums explode.

David groaned, covering his head with his book. "You people need help."

Ciel stumbled backward — right into Yuri, who had just entered the classroom with his head face down .

Both of them lost balance.

Next thing we knew — BOOM!

Yuri ended up on top of Ciel on the floor.

For a good thirty seconds, nobody moved. Then Ci-N broke the silence.

"Oh my— HAHAHA! YO! Yuri, you picked the best time to fall in love!"

The whole class erupted into laughter.

Drew was rolling on the floor. "Bro, the way he landed! Someone record that!"

Even Kiefer was chuckling beside me, shaking his head.

Adrian leaned against his desk, smirking. "Well, looks like I just witnessed a live romcom."

Ciel's face was red — no, crimson. "Get off me, Yuri!!!"

Yuri scrambled up, hands in the air. "It—it was an accident! I swear!"

David muttered from the back, still half-asleep,

"Can someone wake me when you're all done filming your drama?"

The class burst out laughing again.

Ciel stood up, pointing at Felix and Drew.

"You two are dead! DEAD!"

They tried to run, but tripped over chairs in the process, which only made everyone laugh harder.

When things finally calmed down (barely), Adrian's mischievous grin didn't fade.

He crossed his arms and said loudly,

"So, Ciel… that scream kinda reminded me of your dream this morning."

The room went silent.

Ciel froze mid-step. Yuri blinked. "Dream?"

Felix's eyes widened. "Wait… what dream?"

Drew gasped. "No way— don't tell me it was about Yuri!"

Adrian just smiled, clearly enjoying himself.

"Well, let's just say she was very happy to see someone with red hair in dreamland."

The whole class went wild.

Even David cracked an eye open. "Man, I'm missing sleep for this… but it's worth it."

Ciel's face turned even redder. "Adrian!!" she shouted.

"I told you not to bring that up!"

Adrian just shrugged. "You said not to tell yuri . You didn't say anything about them."

"ARGHH!" she yelled, picking up a book from her seat and throwing it at him.

Yuri, flustered beyond saving, waved his hands.

"W–Wait, I— I didn't do anything! Why am I in this!?"

Ci-N was crying with laughter. "Because you're the main character, "

The chaos kept going for another few minutes — Adrian laughing, Ciel fuming, Yuri wishing the ground would swallow him, and David trying (and failing) to go back to sleep.

Finally, I leaned back in my chair beside Kiefer, grinning.

"Same old Section E," I said. "Just pure madness."

Kiefer smiled, resting his chin on his palm.

"Yeah… but it's the kind of madness that makes mornings worth it."

Adrian flashed his sister a teasing smile; she glared back but couldn't hide her small grin.

Yuri still looked like he was questioning every life decision that led him here.

And me? I was just laughing, because honestly — this was home.
